Thank you for visiting my profile!
You can call me Destiny. I am a 26-year-old pansexual woman from the USA who has been roleplaying since 2007. I got my start on a Kingdom Hearts fan-forum, and now here I am! My roleplaying interests include slice-of-life, romance, drama, fantasy, and anime fandom. Did I mention I am a HUGE otaku? :D
I write at a high-casual/advanced level as far as the amount of content I write per-post, but I'm not into flowery language most of the time. My writing is very simple, with a lot of the focus being on the characters and how their thoughts and feelings are developing. Realism is the name of my game! This stems from the fact that, when I am not roleplaying or slaving away for a large technology conglomerate at my day job, I am working on plays and films as a professional actress. With this being my passion, it's quite literally my job to pick apart each character's brain to find the motivation behind their words and actions. I'm just saying, that kind of obsession shows in my writing.
For my partners, I mostly do 1x1 RPs unless a group really catches my eye. I expect 2-3 paragraphs per post and prefer those who can respond at least once a day. Original stories catch my eye more than fandoms, but I don't rule anything out until I've tried it- trust me, if something's not working I'll let you know. I do not write smut, but if it is story-driven I will consider 18+. I'm really not picky; these are just guidelines for how to *guarantee* I will love our RP! I've been surprised before!
A fair warning in advance: I'm also a little crazy. I am diagnosed with Anxiety and Depression, so if I am feeling off I may just stop responding. My mental health does come first. Rest assured, I will pick up the pieces and clear my head enough to reply soon. I use my writing as an outlet, so I can never stay away more than a couple of days. That being said, my Guild partners are my family. Y'all have helped me through the worst times of my life and continue to remind me why I'm still alive on this Earth. So just know that I am here to do the same for any of you, even if we've just met. :)

I love your writing style! I am actually just getting back into the swing of things myself, after two years being preoccupied by life... I have been sticking to casual, just because I am so out of practice, but I used to RP at an advanced level and I would love to work back up to that, if you're willing. :)
As for actual plots, I'm a huge sucker for slice-of-life and romantic stories... But I am also very intrigued by tragedy. Probably because I haven't personally gone through a lot of tragedy in my own life, I like to see how it changes and effects how a person feels and behaves. So basically, I often make terrible things happen to my characters. ^^" Haha. I do also really love anime, though, so if you wanted to do a fanfic-style RP I would not be opposed to it!
I also will be posting fairly slow - also working full-time - so a steady pace works best, actually.

Hmm... The only issue I can see is that we would need to thoroughly define what the zombie's abilities are (there are many different types of zombies out there, whether these ones can run fast or slow, etc.), and also the volume that they would be in (because if we decide that for ourselves, we would be able to "narrowly avoid" the zombies whenever we feel threatened, which would make us lose that interesting aspect of desperation).
I think it sounds like a very interesting concept though, and if we can find a way then I would love to participate! :D

So, if you don't know me, I recently came back from a 2-year hiatus from RP-ing, and I'm looking to get back in the game! Unfortunately, my skills are currently quite a bit rusty... Which is why I thought it would be best to start out with a basic, open RP!
Basically, everyone who joins would play a student (or teacher, if desired) at the school. We'll begin on the first day of classes for the new school year... There can be romance/sex, sports/club rivalries, fights/violence, people from different backgrounds all thrown into the same crazy environment of high school. Your character could be any age, from freshmen to seniors... They could have a disability, or come from an extremely rich/poor family, or maybe be in the student council or whatnot... Honestly, the only rules would be that your character can only be in classes with people who are in the same grade, original characters only, no power-playing, and everything needs to be kept PG-13. We could also discuss whether or not this universe includes magic/special skills or not.
Who would be interested in an RP like this? :) I know it's pretty vague with no real set story, but I love RPs like this... They leave a lot of room for creativity and exploration, as well as an opportunity to develop characters (maybe for use in other RPs). I know that I have some old characters I would love to grow, a bit!
