Current It's been a long time, RPGuild. I hope you're all well.

Bio

HI THERE~!

Thank you for visiting my profile!

You can call me Destiny. I am a 26-year-old pansexual woman from the USA who has been roleplaying since 2007. I got my start on a Kingdom Hearts fan-forum, and now here I am! My roleplaying interests include slice-of-life, romance, drama, fantasy, and anime fandom. Did I mention I am a HUGE otaku? :D

I write at a high-casual/advanced level as far as the amount of content I write per-post, but I'm not into flowery language most of the time. My writing is very simple, with a lot of the focus being on the characters and how their thoughts and feelings are developing. Realism is the name of my game! This stems from the fact that, when I am not roleplaying or slaving away for a large technology conglomerate at my day job, I am working on plays and films as a professional actress. With this being my passion, it's quite literally my job to pick apart each character's brain to find the motivation behind their words and actions. I'm just saying, that kind of obsession shows in my writing.

For my partners, I mostly do 1x1 RPs unless a group really catches my eye. I expect 2-3 paragraphs per post and prefer those who can respond at least once a day. Original stories catch my eye more than fandoms, but I don't rule anything out until I've tried it- trust me, if something's not working I'll let you know. I do not write smut, but if it is story-driven I will consider 18+. I'm really not picky; these are just guidelines for how to *guarantee* I will love our RP! I've been surprised before!

A fair warning in advance: I'm also a little crazy. I am diagnosed with Anxiety and Depression, so if I am feeling off I may just stop responding. My mental health does come first. Rest assured, I will pick up the pieces and clear my head enough to reply soon. I use my writing as an outlet, so I can never stay away more than a couple of days. That being said, my Guild partners are my family. Y'all have helped me through the worst times of my life and continue to remind me why I'm still alive on this Earth. So just know that I am here to do the same for any of you, even if we've just met. :)

Anywho, if this sounds like your thing then shoot me a PM! I swear I'm friendly, albeit a little strange, and I don't bite (hard)!

Macy recognized quickly that things were beginning to go downhill... and fast. Kris had acted brazenly, before her comrades could catch up. Not that Hawke and Scar had helped to deescalate the situation at all, but all hope of diplomacy was gone the moment they fought back. It was clear that they had no intention of listening, anyhow; she could sense a certain toxic air about the group. Her point was proven when they sacrificed their own companion. A group like this with an every-man-for-himself mindset was dangerous.

Not waiting to see the impact of their attack, Macy took the opportunity of the dragon-girl's entrance to break away from the group. For once, her flashy way of doing things served greatly to distract the prisoners, hopefully enough for her to get the young blonde to safety. While their gazes were drawn, Macy lunged toward her companion and threw a smoke bomb, hiding them in a cloud of smoke. Though harmless, the fog would hopefully hide them long enough. She had much experience navigating blindly, and dashed quickly to Kris' side. With a strong kick, she toppled over the prisoner whom had fixed himself around Kris, now nothing but a corpse.

It was within this haze that she took in the state of her companion. Should she be able to move, Macy would grab her hand to lead her through the smoke toward the back of the group. If she were unable to move, Macy would do her best to carry her out of the path of the prisoners, defending the two of them as best she could with her rapier.
Macy glanced down at her arm, where bright orange flames had begun to burn. After watching the glow for awhile, she moved to pat out the fire, embers falling from where her clothes had begun to burn. It stung a little, but really the burns were more fascinating than anything. The now singed cloth, however, was rather annoying, so she ripped the sleeve off of that side and continued on with the rest of the group. Having now calmed down from the initial excitement, she had returned to her monotonous state, simply observing what she could from around her. She would have to find another time to observe these creatures, when the fighting had settled down. If it settled down.

That seemed unlikely as they entered this new area, greeted immediately by the shouting of some criminal. Macy, wondering just who was making all of the ruckus, peeked out from behind the giant that was Hawke, who had also now begun to swing his sword around. Her eyes made contact with the scarred man in the back, and something about him made her stomach twist up. He gives a bad vibe... Suddenly, Macy noticed the two dead corpses, half-mutated, and her eyes got a glint to them reminiscent of the look she had before. I want a closer look... Now, however, was not the time. Slowly, she moved to stand beside Hawke, rather than behind him, and held her rapier and dagger defensively, ready to attack based on the response of the prisoners Kris had assaulted.
Macy was anything but scared. As Hawke mentioned joining the creatures, the young woman took that to mean that they were poisonous in some way, and that you could be turned into one of them. Hence, they "were" human. The more she learned of these insects, the more fascinated she was. Her eyes lit up more than they had the entire time she had been in these walls, and her hands shook with anticipation. Even her breathing became a bit heavy as she watched the creatures from the window. I want to tear one open...

As if granting her wish, a loud bang came from the doorway as the metal slab came crashing to the ground, useless against the horde of beasts heading their way. What had started this infection? How had their human parts become so transformed? These particular ones seemed more human than the ones outside, and it made Macy smile. They were fresh. Mid-transformation, almost... and they had a thirst for other humans. Swiftly, she drew both her rapier and new dagger from their hilts and took a low stance, observing as Scar took the first attack. His crossbow hit effectively, as several needles followed, and she decided it was her turn. Her ears had not even heard his game plan as she lunged forward, deciding to attack one of the creatures on the edge of the pack.

Her speed was good as she lunged forward, but the moment the creature noticed her she ducked as low as she could and thrust her rapier deep into its' stomach. As its attention was drawn to the contact, she aimed the dagger toward its head, thrusting hard, hoping to hear that satisfying crunch that so often accompanied her attacks. The creature was slow compared to her, but she remembered the large man's warning and yanked her rapier up from its' stomach, hoping to create a deep incision in the front of the beast, before shoving off of the creature to lunge back. All she could think about were those mandibles, and how she wanted a closer look. There was too much going on for her to really observe the creature, and whether or not her attack was successful, anyone watching could see the disappointed expression on her face as she stood in a defensive position, waiting for the next attack.
Macy nodded in thanks to the hulking man as he handed her the keys. Despite his appearance, he was a kind soul... You could even say she had taken a liking to him. There was no time, though, as they appeared to be under attack. Something had pounded against the door, and she was staring at it with her head cocked to the side when Kris took the keys. After several moments, the pounding had ceased, and it took her several more moments to realize she was no longer holding the keys. Kris, usually the first to take charge of an urgent situation, had unlocked their weapons. It was time to fight... something.

Without urgency, Macy walked into the room and re-equipped her belt around her waist, counting her items. Six smoke bombs, same as she had before they had been locked up. Good. And her rapier was also in peak condition. The dagger, however, had already been worse for wear before the warden had confiscated it. She decided instead to keep his more ornate one, that had drawn such a beautiful red drop of blood from her fingertip, and leave her old one lying on the shelf where the warden had placed it.

Now fully armed once more, Macy walked out of the room beside Kris. The thump on the window surprised her, and she walked straight over to investigate. These were not projectiles or even a human attacker, but rather some sort of insect-type creature. "A bug..." She murmured. There was some sort of flesh hanging off of the beast, and her eyes widened. She had spent enough time looking at dead things to know that the skin and innards hanging from the creature were not from any insect. She needed to know more... And who had just come from where these things were?

Her gaze shifted from the window to now look at Hawke, whom was now being asked for assistance. Macy thought that it was best to stick together, too. Quietly, she approached him and grabbed the edge of his pants, like a child trying to get a parents' attention. But rather than looking fearful, her eyes sparkled with curiosity as she pointed toward the window. "... Were they human...?" This was the first she spoke to the stranger, but she was fascinated by these creatures they were about to fight.
Macy was quite pleased that Scar took the sandwich. That meant they had acquired at least two of the three necessary items. Unfortunately, the most pressing one was still missing- the keys. None of them could quite go anywhere without them. At the very least, they would be needed to access their weapons. Even the dragon-woman's voice could not shatter the door - and that wasn't even the room where their weapons were. Macy gazed at Kris for a long while before nodding. The keys were not here, so downstairs would be the next place to look.

She removed her finger from her mouth and turned to walk toward the door on her new quest. Suddenly, as if their need had willed it, the door leading to the lower levels clicked open, and a hulking stranger entered. The only thing she noticed were the keys in his hand. They were the same ones they were looking for. That had been easy. The man now had a huge weapon in hand, but Macy had her sights set on the goal.

As he tested his sword, she ducked nimbly under one of his swings and grabbed the key ring. She now stood not even a foot in front of him, each of them with a hand on the keys, though she made no move to yank it from him. The stranger had done them no wrong; he simply had something they also needed. He would even be a good asset to escape.

However, Macy was not good with words, so she simply stared up at the man silently. Her demeanor was calm and confident, so she thought it likely the stranger would know she had no malicious intent. She did, briefly, glance over at Kris. I found the keys...
Macy stepped back as the lock was kicked from the door, giving no reaction whatsoever. Not only had she gotten used to Scar's rough personality, but it never really bothered her to begin with. Any help was appreciated; she preferred not to act if she did not have to. Her eyes drifted to Kris and Diana, watching them speak before being suddenly pulled from the cell.

She went along willingly, of course, noting that most of her comrades had come to congregate in this room. They were all searching for a way out, yet not exactly working together. This was pretty common behavior between them. She, herself, had worked with them for many years yet had barely spoken to most of them. She liked to keep to herself.

Slowly, she meandered over to the desk, following Kris' lead to look at what all might be there. They needed three things that she knee for sure- a weapon for herself, the keys to any door, and a sandwich for the fox. Her gaze drifted over to the door beside the vault, where she approached and placed her hand against the cold steel. "The warden took our weapons this way..." She murmured, just loud enough for those next to her to hear.

There was no kicking that door down, but there was no unlocking it from here. "The keys were on a ring attached to his belt." She knew it was s waste of time to search the desk for keys; the warden likely still had them. Or a guard. So she moved on to find other useful items. Her eyes landed on a small dagger upon the desk. It was nothing special, but if used properly it was better than only using her hands. That is, if it was sharp.

Carefully, she moved to pick up the small weapon, tracing her finger along its edge. A small drop of blood formed on her finger from the fresh cut, and she smiled... just a bit. It's sharp... Silently, she placed the dagger in her belt, claiming the weapon as her own. Macy stuck her bleeding finger into her mouth, sucking on the small cut until the bleeding stopped. She remained completely unbothered by it as she continued her search.

It was then her eyes fell upon the sandwich. Moldy. Revolting.Yet, it couldn't have been here more than a couple of days. It would not taste delicious, but Macy saw her companion's urgency for food and believed it to be a life-or-death matter. Taste did not matter. Carefully, she grabbed the sandwich with her free hand and approached Scar. It was dripping with juices from the mystery meat, but it would sustain him long enough to escape. He could pick off the moldy bits.

With her cut finger still in her mouth, she silently held out the sandwich with her other hand, offering it to Scar without words. Once he ate, they could proceed.
This sounds super interesting! I am a long-time roleplayer, but to be honest I have a very simple vocabulary and am just getting back into things after a nearly 3-year hiatus. So I may not be super consistent in replying. ^^" I also tend to veer towards stories of romance and strong emotion.

BUT I would not mind playing the knight! It would be interesting to see what a knight that powerful saw in her to want to break the rules so extremely. :)
Macy lay on one of the beds in their tiny cell, motionless, in the same place she had spent the last several hours. Her long hair had become matted and grisly with dirt at this point, but her composure never waned. The same stoic expression rested on her face as her eyes traced the grooves of the concrete ceiling. Even as Kris spoke, she never shifted her gaze.

Macy was fully aware of the situation. The prison was locked down, there was a deadly virus spreading, and they were unarmed. It was truly a dire situation. And yet, Macy could not help but to bask in the silence, the isolation, and this strange feeling in her gut. She listened to every word her companion spoke, but from the long silence that fell afterward, you could not tell.

Finally, after a minute or so, Macy moved her pale hands to rest calmly on her stomach. "Did you know that you can die in as little as two weeks if you do not eat at all?" Her eyes remained fixed on the ceiling as she spoke. "Two weeks... as your body starts to eat itself from the inside out. It's like a monster living inside of us that we can't control. I wonder which brain waves decide this is the proper response to lack of nutrition? I wonder what it feels like... Would it hurt? Or would your nerves simply become numb to it over time?"

Macy had always been known to say strange, nonsensical- even creepy- things. And yet, she always had sound judgement. She knew the safest place was here in this cell, but she also knew that they would need sustenance to survive. Slowly, she sat up on the bed and turned to face Kris, locking her eyes on the outstretched hand before her. Another moment passed.

Finally, after just enough amount of time for it to be awkward, Macy stood without hurry and walked over to the door, ignoring her partner's request for companionship. Rather, she approached the gate and fiddled with the lock, glancing around the room to find what may open it. She hoped her now-longtime companion would understand her dismay towards physical affection and take this action to say, I accept your offer to escape and will assist as needed.
