So, After a discussion with
@RavenDivinity, I'm now going to be helping out with posts and help get Starless in order so we can start moving a bit faster. A few things that need to be clarified first:
The Wilds.
@jasonwolf, I haven't been paying too much attention to this whole situation with the conflicting ideas about the wildlife there and the specific location of The Wilds. From what Raven and I have briefly discussed, you need a spot for The Wilds. Well, I'm going to be cross referencing lore from all the character sheets (which I'll also be using to tidy up the official lore document) to try and find a place for this area to exist. As far as I'm aware at the moment, the best location for this area seems like it would probably nestle in quite nicely BEHIND the far eastern mountain range. There's a spot about 2/3 the way down the map where the eastern mountain jut outwards a bit. Well, unless I missed somebody (which is entirely possible) that area is currently unoccupied by lore from any other characters, so it seems like a pretty good place. Sure there's snow there on the map, but since most the cartography of Ansus ENDS at the mountains, it could be safe to assume most cartogrophers have simply never been past the eastern range.
As far as wildlife goes, seriously, send me a PM and we'll figure out some creatures that are more interesting and fit better into the lore of Starless than prehistorical creatures. I understand that you want to maintain a more daunting aspect for your fauna, and that's entirely possible while still tweaking them more toward the fantasy realm. It's more a matter of getting a feel for the world and the creatures that inhabit it, yknow?
Also, I'll be whipping up a gridded map of Ansus fairly soon. We'll be using this to note important locations and current locations of characters. What I'll probably end up doing is making another shared document and posting the link here so people can go in and list off important locations and where exactly on the grid they fall so I can begin filling in the map.
