Part two Crossover First Round start! Get the Flag!

Riku decided to guard his flag and instructed Alexa and Gale to go and get the flag, while giving them the plan.

Alexa felt really uneasy as they traveled down the terrain to their opponents. She didn't know much about her classmates except for the fact that one was green and the other rubbed her the wrong way. She never could place it, but Doll and him really gave her an off putting feeling.

"Us being instructed to go on the offensive seems like a mistake to me." Her voice uneasy as she shot a glance to Gale. He didn't seem like that was a problem when Riku told them to go.

"They have stronger abilities and may figure that picking you off is easier on their turf. We can use that against them." Riku's words echoed in her head.

"This is such a bad idea. All I can do is defend." If only she could swing at something.

"I doubt they'll expect us to be coming at them first," Gale replied, "and with Riku using his Quirk, I'll have something to work with."

Gale knew the bare minimum of Basil's quirk. He knew how Andrew operated. What he did not know, was the full extent of their third teammates quirk. Whether or not they could take him down would be the determining factor in this event.

The three of them came to the end of the treeline. Just like their base, it was completely exposed.

Meanwhile....

Noir shadow links to Basil and xen "Listen up if there second year doesn’t get involved I’m not getting involved. I just putting you in position so you’ll have the best chances of winning. You incapacitate them take the flag and get back here. That’s it."

Xen hearing this, stops meditating and jumps on top of a tree to scout for the enemy. Basil heads away from his base in search of both Xen and enemy team. Going through this kinda terrain wasnt a problem considering where he lived outside of the country. He strategized to himself about what he should do considering his quirk. In the meantime, he could crouch and blend with the scenery.

Gale and Alexa keep walking towards the enemy base and seeing no signs of life.

All of a sudden breeze...Xen drops down in fron of Gale and and Alexa and tries to punch both of them but in response, like a form of adrenaline, Alexa opens up her barrier, but only for a second. "Now!" Gale exclaims" Upon hearing this from a little far away, Riku brings out a decent sized rain cloud, extending the shadows in the area. From there Gale jumped in the shadows. Then he would repeatedly jump in and out of the shadows from different angles to keep striking and get Xen off guard. To oppose this, Xen would block each attack, but couldnt move. Xen decided to show off his back more as a wide spot. Seeing this, Gale jumped out one last time and to get a final strike on Xen. Xen turned around in no surprise and punched gale right in his face. Then it came to his head "Ill put out a cloud to increase the shadows to help you move around more, but as for the finisher, we might need you to try to throw Alexa at Xen or Noir. That momentum and force should be able to do it. Good luck" Riku from a while ago.

At that moment Gale flew in Alexa's direction. Alexa breathed in and made a barrier as gale connected his shadow to the barrier. He put his feat on the ground, trying to get footing as he's dragging on the ground. As he comes to a close stop, he whips Alexa in her barrier around in a circle, spins it around, and then releases it toward Xen. Xen, in shock, is knocked out by the barrier. Alexa, after making contact with Xen and hitting the ground rolling, releases her breathe and rolls on the ground. Gale runs to Alexa. "Hey, you okay partner?" extending his hand to her.

Alexa looks at Gale and quietly takes his hand as she gets up. "Im fine" as she put on a tough and unothered face. "Lets go in the direction that he came in" "Right!" said Gale. They run. After a few minutes, they get to Noir's base.

"No Riku? Hmph. Well I wont be fighting you. I guess I expected too much from my first years. Gale and Alexa didnt reaally think much of the other student. Gale remembered what Basil about his quirk, but wondered how it would come in play. He shakes off the thought, grabs the flag, and heads back in the direction of his base with Alexa following behind. After getting midway, Gale starts smelling something strange. "Alexa, wait" he exclaimed. "What, getting tired already?" replied Alexa in a cold tone. "Alexa, I think the other guy Basil set up something....take the flag and go!" he yelled. Alexa looked confused, but didnt want to waste any time. She grabbed the flag and fled off to her base. Basil comes walking out behind a tree.

"I guess I should have done better with releasing my fumes. Probably cost us the match" said Basil outloud. Gale sluggishly moves his head towards him. "Gotta think positive though. Atleast I learned something from this for next time" as Basil kep talking. Just then Gale passed out on the ground. "...and I took someone out with my anesthetic."

Riku heard silence for awhile and wondered if he should when all of a sudden he saw Alexa come out of a bush with the flag, huffing. "We...we got it!." Riku's face went from shock to exceiment "Yeah!"

And with this, the first round concludes.

Part 1 Crossover: Set-up For the First Round!

When Alexa stepped off the bus, she made sure to stretch before actually looking around. Her eyes were large with wonder when she saw all the lush greenery. It was beautiful. Yes, she could have noticed this on the way up, but she too took a nap after holding her breath too much on the beginning of the ride.

“Wow, this is so pretty.” She said as she walked up to the middle of the field and took a big breath of air.

Of course, she quieted down when she heard Endeavor spoke and gave him her attention.

“Three man team? Across this vast terrain???” She tried to calm herself.

Orca’s next statement had her freaking out inside. His words of reassurance didn’t help either.

The announcement of her going first and working with Galen was the blow that killed her. Unintentionally, she felt to her knees in the grass.

“Why me?” She whispered.

Gale was excited to be going first. He was even more excited to be working with Alexa. He already had a firm grasp of her quirk so workin with her would be easy. He wasn't sure however of their captain, Riku. Gale took the opportunity as they walked towards their base to introduce himself.

"Hey captain. We haven't met. My name is Gale and my quirk let's me move through shadows." said Gale. “Nice!” Riku exclaimed. “I’m glad you are on my team. In a game where stealth and cunning comes in handy, you’d be a great help. My quirk allows me to control weather and imbue its properties into certain items. I’ve also been trained by Eraserhead. So I know how to use hand to hand Combat.”

Once Alexa composed herself, she got herself up and walked over to her team captain. She only knew what he looked like because she followed Galen. How he knew who he was, she wouldn't know. She was just glad she wasn't on Andrew's team. Since she didn't necessarily agree how he was teaching her friend, it would have been awkward and maybe lead to their defeat.

"Umm Hello, I'm Alexa Barnes. I am able to use a barrier ability as long as I hold my breath. I hope I can help the team."

The trio traversed through the area until they reached their base. Most of the area was covered in dense trees and bushes. That would play well to his quirk given the shadows they produce. However, the same could not be said about their base. It was atop a small hill completely exposed from every direction.
Gale sighed.

"They couldn't make it easy for us huh?" said Gale.

He shook his head. Out in the open, he was pretty much useless. He could use his shadow blade, but he could only maintain it for five minutes are so before passing out. He turned to Riku and Alexa.

"So what's the plan?"

Alexa was not happy about the drudge through the woods. The terrain was a little difficult to run back and forth through. She cursed the fact that they hadn't received their suits yet. She would have been able to run in her barrier no problem.

"I wish I got a different partner." She said under her breath. She was still annoyed by the bus ride.

"Well I can try to provide some sort of defense on the move but the barrier is slick on the inside. I could try to add some friction to my shoes to better walk the surface."

Meanwhile on the other side of the terrain a few minutes ago...

Basil and Xen walk off the bus, then its revealed that they both are on the same team. Both seem very unaffected by this and simply look at each other and back towards Endeavor and Gang Orca as they teachers explain the course.

-__- “I have you guys as opponents" Noir laughs. "This will be a cake for the first years I have.” Noir walks past looking at the two first years on his team.

Basil was impressed by the scenery which could be useful in the upcoming battle, but was nervous about having to go first. At Least he was with another student that he just met. Now to wait for the battle. Meanwhile Xen thought to himself "Tch... I'm getting bored with this. I can't control this for much longer...For the sake of gathering information and not blowing my cover I need to last long enough for doll to do her job.. alright." Xen leaves and assumes his meditation until his opponent arrives.

Noir turned to Basil. "Where is the other first year...Xen?" "Oh! I lost track of him" Basil replied. "Tell me about him" said Noir. "he seems chaotic and destructive. His quirk might be really powerful, but I know he is physically strong" explained Basil. "Well, we gotta hope hes heading to position to get the flag."

After Basil and Gale are done talking, Gale sees Noir and sits with him. Basil looks towards the back for some seats when all of a sudden-

"The SOPHOMORES DON’T LOOK ALL THAT TO ME!" as shouted out in an outburst.

With that, Basil thought that some sort of beef might be starting and that he shouldnt get involved, especially since anyone could be his teammate on the bus. He sees a seat across from Noir and Andrew occupied by one of the students in the class.

Basil: "Yo, can I sit here?"

Demu: 📢📢📢" Aye all yall ugly!!!"

Basil: "Strong quirk to go with the attitude?" *as Basil sits down*

Demu: "Honestly I don't even know how to use it...I black out and things happen
these hands are legit though."

Basil: "....Wait, what kind of things?"

Demu: "Welllll once there was a city...then i took a nap...i woke up and there wasnt a city" he said with a slightly evil grin.

Basil:. "Hmm. Either you're lying or you're a walking gamble of power."

Demu: "i guess we'll just have to find out a little later..
but so yeah im new here right...fill me in on everyone
you seem like you know things".

Basil: "I actually don't know much about the class aside from a few. I haven't really socialized much either."

Demu: "gimme what ya got champ."

Basil: *looks to the back* "I only know about those two girls in the back: one can make teleports and the other can make barriers. The pervy guy seems powerful, and Gale over there uses shadows to teleport."

Demu: "hmm teleports and barriers...i could think of a few ways to use that...*looks obviously at them* hey shes kind of cute...you talk to her yet??"

Basil: "Nah, I usually keep to myself.
Stay low-key as the green guy."

Demu: "holy shit youre green!!??"

Basil: "Sarcasm?"

Demu: "youre catching on. so whats your quirk?"

Basil: "I can make fumes to create different kind of effects"

Demu: "fumes...interesting. i assume different types?"

Basil: "Yup. Can't control the fumes though."

Demu: "well thats a thing...anyway...i think we're almost there."

Basil: Aye

Then Basil looks forward, feeling slight pressure on the upcoming exercise.

One week later after the training exercises, its announced that there's a joint session between the Gang Orca's first years and Endeavor's second years for capture the flag. Gang Orca then announced that Doll was on punishment.

"As for the teams" Gang Orca paused for dramatic effect... "these will be revealed when we get to the site."

After hearing this, Basil was wondering if it was gonna be easier with all the physical exercises. At the same time, since its a competition, his quirk might be more of use. Deep in thought, he noticed everyone else leave the classroom. "Itll be fine. Im at a school afterall. I just have to learn some new stuff" he thought to himself. He got up and walked with the others towards the bus. The students then start to line as they got closer to the bus/ As Gale gets in line, Basil follows behind him and taps on his shoulder.

Basil: Yo.

Gale: Uhh yo.

Basil: My name is Basil. Its sudden, but...how exactly does your quirk? It seems pretty useful.

Gale: Oh. Well... ummm. I call it Shadow Step. Basically, I can walk between shadows. I'm learning other stuff now

Gale: What's does your Quirk work?

Basil: I can create fumes that serve different purposes. For example, I can make a fume that works like an anesthetic. Its not that great,

cause too much use of it weakens me, and my hair starts to wilt.

Basil becomes a lot more relaxed meeting someone in the class. They continue to ramble until they get on the bus and Gale sees Noir sitting.

*Basil is watching the other students take the debris test, and is intrigued by
the other students. The one he was talking to before had vibrated the debris.
"It seems tiring, but what crazy power", he thought. After that he saw someone
who was perfectly dodging shots set to 100% speed. "This class is really
flashy".

Gang Orca: Basil, you're next!

*Basil nonchalantly walks over to the area and prepares himself. As the machine starts firing, Basil finds himself dodging the shots easily. "I guess im not that bad, like with the jumping part", he thought. As the shots get faster, Basil starts looking like he is about to slip up when all of a sudden, after dodging a shot by moving to the right, anotger shot hits his left ankle. In an instant he releases a fume to numb the injured part and keeps going until Gang Orca shuts off the machine.*

Gang Orca: Good job. Picking yourself up quickly is a great trait!"

Basil: Th-thanks.

*Basil goes to sit down as his hair starts to wilt*

Following up from the classroom introductions.

One after another, students went up one by one until Gang Orca called up Basil. Basil went up to the front of the class and unenthusiastically spoke. "Hi, my name is Basil and my quirk is producing pheromones to produce different types of fumes. Weird, I know. Looking forward to working with the rest of you." The class was silent as Basil went back to his seat as he thought "This reactions makes sense, afterall I should be with the support class, but that isnt going to help my goal. Gang Orca then takes the class to the fields for the physical tests. Basil frowned as this especially wasnt his forte. Then Albion rushed up next to him.

Albion: Yo! Green dude!
Basil: Yo.
Albion: If you dont mind me asking, how did you get into the class A with that quirk? Were you put in without being part of the exam?
Basil: No, I had to go take it. It was actually like this where my quirk wasnt that useful.
Albion: So.....
Basil:...so...I lost control with the others for some reason and started to attack people for no reason. Luckily I produced some pheromones as a fume automatically that woke me up. When I saw the other students going crazy and some of the other students fighting them and the robots, with how beaten up I was from the students, I made a sleeping gas to knock some of the other students. I guess having the ability and quick thinking to handle that was enough to get me.
Albion: Wh-what? I thought pheromones only affected opposite genders and stuff?
Basil: You'd be surprised.

When they got to the test area, Gang Orca immediately started the tests. Basil thought of an idea on the way over, knowing that his quirk wasnt gonna help much. When the throwing section started, he released a fume that made his arm numb, so when he threw the ball, Basil ignored any limiters normally felt when going past your physical limits and decently threw it a few meters. "Phew" he thought. "That took a bit out of me" as he regained feeling in his left arm. Next was the run, which he almost placed last on. When the jumping section happened, he surprisingly did well as he got a nice running start. Among the whole class he did average. Last, but not least, came the debris test.

First day of school at UA.

Basil wakes up unenthusiastically despite passing the entrance exam. He gets up and glances over at a portrait of some kids. He then proceeds to get ready, moves some beakers to where they should be, eats a light breakfast, and gets on the train. In waiting he pulls out his phone to play Tetris. Once the train stops, he gets off and heads to the school. After finding out what room he's supposed to go to, he opens the door. He glances over at Gang Or a, who is more intimidating in person than on TV. Basil then glances over at the class, who look at him weirdly for his light green skin and dark green hair hanging down.

Gang Orca: "Welcome to class 1A, please have a seat."

Basil then sits in the middle row closer to the door. Class soon started, and two transfer students introduced themselves. The white haired girl seemed like she was forced to be nice. The guy next to her seemed pretty dangerous. Then all of a sudden a guy burst into the classroom all of a sudden.

": IM IN DIHH BIHH!, SORRY IM LATE" the late student said.

Basil thought to himself "this is a strange start to being a hero, but at least I'm not the weirdest one, right?"
