With all this activity, I'm already going to need to make another kokonoe post.

Hazama first.
@dirty slime
Magnaangemon is Mach 1, max. That's his movement speed. Not that he has many speed feats, but by powerscaling he can be put at that level.

What is his fight with Blackwargreymon then? Who is virtually Wargreymon's equal, the same Wargreymon who can spin fast enough to create a tornado around him so violent that it ripped Metalseadramon's insides apart, the same one who turned Mugendramon into metal shavings with a series of slashes so fast that they couldn't be perceived and were so precise that he didn't even realize that he was already dead? I didn't see Magnaangemon nor his weaker form die within a second of getting within melee range with Blackwargreymon so that mach 1 reactions thing is a massive downplay and you know it.
@dirty slime
Try to avoid using terms like microseconds, or making up new attacks for your chars they're not supposed to have.

I'll concede to the microsecond level feat. Someone like a Magnaangemon is still supposed to be way faster than most other things in terms of close combat speed.

Except she doesn't have very little.

Toon physics is one of the most open ended things ever.

@Gun@dirty slime You all seemed rather tame yesterday and there wasn't any real tension despite opinions being thrown around. But must I intervene here for real?

My only issue with Gun is that he seems to make his character seem invincible even though he doesn't think so. Because from how I read my fight with the Freedom went, there was literally no tension for Kyrie as he seemed to never have lost the advantage even once and had the entire thing under control with no logical reason for him to lose even though I had no intention of having Magnaangemon win in the first place!
@Saint Girralo

The brazen accusation of cowardice and the sudden wall of earth blocking his blade had stopped the Mage-Knight from decapitating a terrified but defiant Resistance NCO who had willingly thrown herself into the metal monster's path and tried to pierce his helmet with an utterly pitiful holdout blaster after her rifle had been hacked in two by the Knight in order to save her men from the seemingly unstoppable warrior, even though he had his orders and was clearly having the time of his life in the thick of it; the Knight's pride and peculiar form of nobility would not let such an insult from the Alchemist officer go unpunished nor such courage and sacrifice go unrewarded for the squad leader, for even though they are enemies; he and the rest of his brothers and sisters from the Licht Gruppe believed that they are more Just than the Resistance due to their unflagging adherence to honor and fairness, things that they believed the Resistance had gradually lost sight of over the years of warfare and horror.

And so the Knight let the NCO run back to her squad when she realized that the Knight was no longer interested in her before turning towards Roy, his scorched armor and tattered surcoat; both liberally caked with blood and grime making his sizable form even more intimidating. Not only that, he also began to exude an aura of magically-amplified menace in order to cow nearby soldiers, both friend and foe from getting in his way... This was matter of pride and honor and he wanted everyone to know that he wouldn't tolerate any interference!

"A coward? Tell me this, who are the ones fighting a losing battle just to buy more time?"

The Knight then gestures to the carnage around him, showing that the only remaining troops around the immediate area were Resistance; with most of the defenders having already been pushed back or killed. The entire section of the battlefield literally resting on the shoulders of a far smaller force of units against a tide of men and machine.

"Not very heroic of you rebels to be held back by a smaller force now is it?"

The Knight then readies his sword in a neutral guard stance as he begins to approach the Alchemist officer.

"And besides, this is war. We all have to do things we find unsavory for what we believe in..."

With that somber one-liner, the Knight then initiates his charge; moving as fast as a speeding truck and with the same grace (or lack of), It was clear to Roy that the Metal monster wants to defeat him in a knightly duel with nobody to help or hinder him. Which the career Officer could easily spin to his advantage as the knight has shown to be the type to move and see in no other direction but forwards.

Line of sight lost between them, their comrade and Roy's unit, the Mages decided that the respite would provide them a good long while to try and save their digital brother-in-arms who was currently lying on an ammo dump, practically asking to be blown up by a stray shot or a deliberately thrown grenade. The wind mage casting a swiftness spell on itself and its companion, the pair then made their way towards their unconscious comrade; their enhanced speed making them little more than phantoms to the naked eyes of the majority of the Resistance's troops. Wasting no time in attempting to bodily carry the puppet-like wizard, the Earth mage simply creates a makeshift stretcher of levitating rocks before the two haul their comrade on top of it and get the hell out of dodge with him in tow; just in time too as a TIE fighter crashes into the cache and sends all three magic users flying from the explosion's intense shockwave.
@Moonman
Nappa is way too powerful for this rp. His base speed is around Mach 10-20, which is ridiculously high when currently the most powerful chars are moving at around Mach 1 base.

What is Power Creep?
<Snipped quote by dirty slime>

Yeah and I'm not exactly emphatically pleased about you being able to accelerate to mach 10+ in under a fraction of a second, damage my weapons, and have time enough to attack me. Doing a large string of actions, regardless of how 'fast' you believe them to be, leaves you open to fair interruption, which is what I did. I hardly write Kyrie as ineffable. All I did was wait and fool the angel before counter-attacking, and if your character can accelerate to mach 10 and then somehow rapidly shift directions without somehow redistributing force, then it is well within Kyrie's limits to be able to match that, not that he even really had to match that exact speed to do what he did.

That's real funny. From what I see from your posts, is: "Kyrie's super-awesome mech does ridiculously awesome and cool shit with virtually zero effort or tension thanks to its insanely potent tech and Kyrie's own godlike piloting skills.". Now I'm sure making him do all those things so easily isn't your intent, but it really makes it seem like everything pitted against the Freedom doesn't have a snowball's chance in hell of beating it.

And that stuff about Sonic Move? I wasn't honestly planning on using that at so early a stage. But I had to escalate so that the Magnaangemon will have at least done some form of damage before getting put in his place. And even then, the Freedom beat him without taking any damage whatsoever.
omg.... thanks a lot guys.... Made me go and rewatch episode 5 and 6....

I'm going with an Elite Guard, PREPARE FOR THE NAZI VAMPIRE!!!

Make him fight like the Orphan of Kos and I'll be your best friend forever.
What was their problem? Something about what to do and what not to do when RPing?
<Snipped quote by dirty slime>

Cuz' they act dat way.

If you're accusing Gun of Gary-Stuing, yah might want to take it up with the GMS. Otherwise, there aint nothin' to be done about it.

Better to let everyone else know before consulting with the GM first.
