I have no problem with any case, and who tends to like modern day london a lot, so New York sounds cool to me?

(Also can we ignore the Angels Take Manhattan? That episode pisses me off beyond belief.)

Tenth Doctor:
Age 904.
Appearance: The Tenth incarnation of The Doctor generally wears either a dark brown (with blue pinstripes) or a blue (with rust red pinstripes) four-buttoned suit, a shirt and a tie, a light brown faux-suede overcoat (which he claims was given to him by Janis Joplin), and different coloured pairs of Converse All-Stars shoes, depending on his suit.



Journey:

With the Time Lords and the Master gone, the Doctor was relieved that he had survived his supposed death at Rassilon's hands, but his victory was short-lived when he heard the four knocks. Wilf was trapped inside a radiation control booth which was about to be flooded with radiation. At first angry about the terrible things the universe rewarded him with and considered Wilf's pleas to leave him, the Doctor could not bear to sacrifice one life to prolong his own after going through so much to stop men willing to take the lives of millions to do the same. But Donna’s grandfather proved to be just as stubborn as she was, refusing to leave the booth under any circumstance. Not wanting to live in a universe without the man he deemed earth’s protector; The Doctor.

After much screaming and shouting going on between the two, the Doctor gave in to Wilf’s wishes and escaped in his TARDIS. The guilt of that day has been carried with him ever since, burdening down on him during his journey across the galaxy, and he believes that the stain of that murder will never leave him. One day, the Time Lord returned to Earth once more, having truly felt like the lonely man with a box that many companions of his had previously taken to calling him. In search of a new companion The Doctor landed in modern day ____ where he hopes to find just the right person, to share in an adventure.

I've left the location blank as we haven't decided on a setting yet. :P
