@SunsetRosesIf you think weight is worth noting, then sure, but you can easily see Anelise's overall stature from her picture, so it won't effect description too much. Only reason I request height is 'cause my character is pretty tiny, so I'll probably need to know if he's looking up at the people he's talking to. It's just nice to get a description of things that can't be shown easily through a picture. @Hammerman Thanks!
If I could just make a little request, for the characters that only have a picture to describe their appearance, do you mind noting somewhere on your CS how tall they are? Little hard to tell when it's just a picture of their face.
Description: Regis takes great care of his appearance and hygiene, especially with his deep black hair, which he keeps tied up in a ponytail several centimeters past his shoulder level, with bangs evenly parted down the center of his forehead. Dark brown skin and an almost obsessive need to not show any blemishes on it, Regis outright uses makeup to hide any freckles or marks. His eyes are a dark hazel, with a fairly slender face, with small ears and thin jawline. Rarely will you not see some form of smug smile etched on his face. Despite his grandiose nature, Regis stands rather short at 5'2" with a slim frame and no noticeable muscles. He doesn't think much of this, and will claim that he is still growing.
Age: 15 Gender: Male Orientation: Bisexual Mage or Familiar: Familiar Ability:
Ocular Ability! Your Ability is Aura reading! Your character can see the aura of those around them, and determine their feelings from the color! It’s very weak without a familiar, perhaps he hasn’t even noticed these aura’s until now! However, with enough training, your character can learn to read auras much more precisely, and determine health, strength, magic type, mixed emotions, and even see the outline of auras through walls! How cool!
Partner: Montgomery “Monty” Goldberg
Personality: The very model of a sheltered rich kid, Regis is naively pompous, obliviously insensitive and whilst he is far from stupid or incompetent, he vastly over-estimates his own intelligence and abilities. However, Regis is not so much intentionally rude as he is severely lacking in real life social skills. Due to his upbringing he just never quite understood subtle social queues or what is considered acceptable behaviour, meaning that he can often be blissfully unaware of the nature of his actions. He will mock people whilst thinking it to be chummy banter between close pals, even if he barely knows the person he's talking to. Despite his behaviour, Regis absolutely loves working with people. He enjoys nothing more than the concepts of camaraderie and friendship, and was highly confused when his first year at a real school resulted in absolutely none of that.
Why, if he didn't know any better, he would have thought that nobody liked him!
Biography: Born in Lynden as the only child of a wealthy executive and businessman, Regis was doted on for most of his life by parents and maids that were hell-bent on hammering home just how grand and better than anyone else the Dimitrios family is, and by association, Regis. While homeschooled for most of his life, it wasn't so much that Regis never had a chance to make friends, rather that he ruined every opportunity given to him by being an obnoxious, self-aggrandizing brat. His parents or maids would try to bring him to sports clubs or games clubs to meet some friends, but his go-to conversation starter seemed to default to 'Wow, my parents are so much better than yours, aren't they?' meaning his stay at those clubs always seemed to fall short of expectations. Whenever there was even the slightest bit of doubt of his own greatness, his parents were there to dash those fears and reinforce his family's narcissism.
He always knew he would be going to St. Fortuna's Academy one day, though. After all, considering how important his parents are, he would require an education befitting that at some point. Whilst his parents have high hopes for him, and Regis for himself, he genuinely does not know what he wants to do with himself, nor does he seem to care that much. He knows he'll figure that out eventually, so his main goal is trying to understand why nobody can seem to stand his presence.
Likes: - Himself, mainly. - Animals fascinate him. Dogs especially are pretty neat. - Adventure novels, usually ones with themes of friendship. - People's company. - An interest in fashion that grows larger every day. - Spicy food. He makes it a challenge to eat the spiciest. - Plush toys, especially of bears. Also has a geode collection. - Winning!
Dislikes: - People that worry excessively. - Whilst he likes group sports, he isn't fond of exercising on his own. - Mathematics and history are not his strong suit. Not that he'll admit this. - Classical music. His parents played it a lot, and it always got on his nerves. - 'Slovenly' people that don't care about their looks or fashion. - Losing! Not that it ever happens!
1. What is your character's greatest regret? Regis would openly laugh and scoff at the very idea of regretting anything.
2. Your character is home alone after watching a horror movie and they hear a strange sound. What do they do? Turn on every light in the house and start shouting something about villains and malefactors never being able to beat the fighting prowess of a Dimitrios. Get bored three minutes later and watch another movie. Probably a comedy.
3. Two of your characters friends are fighting over something trivial, and they want them to stop. How do they go about this? More than likely he wasn't paying attention and heavily misconstrued their argument as somehow fighting over him. He will then assure the two that there is enough Regis to go around for everybody, thus no need to fight. Cue attempting to understand why they are now mad at him.
4. While your character is on their way to class, they realize they forgot something crucial. Theyre already on the verge of running late. What do they do? Regis would never be so careless as to forget something crucial, therefore, if he did forget something, he must not have really needed it in the first place! He would continue onwards and be very confused when the teacher gets angry.
5. If your character had the opportunity to turn into any animal, what would that animal be? A majestic bald eagle... is probably what he would respond with, but he'd actually turn into a house cat.
6. If your characters house were on fire, and they only had time to save one thing from their room, what would it be? His laptop. Wouldn't want his precious p-... uh, documents being burnt up.
7. What season does your character like best and why? Autumn, mainly due to the rather appealing changes in scenery and aesthetic. Although Regis is fine with most forms of weather, so he isn't particularly picky with the season.
8. Vacation! You character gets to spend a week anywhere! Where is it and what do they do? His parents used to take him to this island resort occasionally when he was a kid. It was always pretty fun, he learnt how to surf there, and spending time with his usually busy parents was great. And then the island fell into the ocean when an earthquake hit it.
Blah, hate when I get back and see I've missed several pages of OCC. I'll get to reading all the new characters. Really liking most of them so far.
@Discontent Congratulations! You’re accepted! Your character get an Ocular Ability! Your Ability is Aura reading! I'm not sure you could have picked a more perfect ability for my character. Thanks, this is great.
Started writing this when there was the Familiar shortage, so, uh, I'll change him to mage if we don't get any more mages.
Also, this took me far longer than it should have.

On secondthird fourth thought, I actually don't think I should join this. In a few weeks I'll be travelling overseas for a month, and by the time the IC probably gets up, I'll only be able to post for a short while before having to leave. That'll just disrupt the entire flow of this. Sorry Vert, Beo, probably going to have to back out of this. I'll try and get on Steam tomorrow so I can talk to you both.
