Is it supposed to be typical for roommates to know each other when they're in their upper years? Or like do they switch every year? Or is that up to us?

Dean tends to be the loudest in the crowd, he enjoys the spotlight more than most people. He can be very bossy and demand that people listen to him, trying to act dominant to any crowd. He's not stupid though, he knows being quiet and listening can help him to manipulate people in to doing what he wants. Generally it's a longer process and Dean really isn't patient, waitings not one of his best qualities. Although Dean seems like a jerk to most people, he's defensive of his friends and once your in his group, he'll be nice to you and fight for you tooth and nail.

Dean was the oldest of two brothers and when he was young his mom died, leaving just the three boys. It was a long life for the three of them, his dad was a drunk and couldn't hold down a job so they were always moving. Always chasing the next best thing. He hates the idea of being told who he'll enjoy the rest of his life with. If there's a possibility of something happening like what happened with his mom, he doesn't want to be with someone. He's always been worried he'll be like his dad and he's starting to see some of the signs, being loud and using people, but he doesn't know how to change that. He finally got sent to Ivy Wood when his dad found out and figured it was a good way to get rid of his son and his younger brother has gone off to another school.

From the outside Liam would seem to fit perfectly in to the athletic, popular crowd. He may not actually be popular, but he's always been well liked by everyone around him. It's all about fading in to the group, not causing waves and being the quite one that everyone knows and likes. He tries to keep that show up on the outside, but he truly would prefer to just sit in his room on his computer. Life is usually all about keeping up appearances and he can't have people knowing he truly would rather meet people online. It's much easier to talk to his friends on there because he never has to worry about feeling awkward. With people in real life he has to worry about everything he says and if they will find it rude or silly. He's always been worried about what people will think of the true him, so he's fit himself in to the life he thought would get him the farthest and he's grown in that role. He's gotten much better at talking to people, more outgoing with meeting new potential friends, but it's all usually an act and he's wondering when he can get back to his room and in to his bed.

He hardly remembers his father and considers his stepdad to be more of a father then his real dad ever has been. He hadn't liked the idea of being told who his soulmate was before Rachel came home talking about how much she loved it. His mother thought it was the greatest thing after the oldest child went through and she pushed Liam in to going, not that he could truly say no to her. Of course his family has their fights, and they can get very heated, but he thinks he was really blessed getting the family he did. Life could have been much harder for him.

The next one will be male also but bi so he can go whichever way is needed. I'm really curious about what options we have for supernatural creatures... But I'll probably stick with a normal human.
We all know the stories of Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty, but those are all stories of love and happiness. Not all royalty could possibly be like those fables. What about those who are arraigned to marry and those that are in harms way because they are the heir? This story is to focus on those, the different princes and princess who have to worry about love, the kingdom, and murder.
So I wanted to do something as either like children of the famous princes/princess and them being shifted to a new reality. Either going from like the "Once upon a time" zone (not Story Brooke) to modern era or the opposite.
Or just keeping them in an old time zone, as they'll all be ruling over different (but close) lands, and having a force outside trying to take the thrown.

This looks really interesting, but before I start I have a question. I'm gonna be out of town for four days (Thursday-Sunday) and Thursday and Friday I won't have any internet access while Saturday and Sunday I'll have limited. Is that gonna be a problem if you're starting it soon? Or could my character like meet up with them later potentially?
I would love to make a second character if needed, but I wanna know your thoughts on this one first.
