Choose Wisely

Dragons and humans work together after many years of battling and fighting. This new generation was never a part of those battles and doesn't understand how people could have wanted to kill the beautiful creatures. Now these young adults get to try for the dragon riders school and possible check for their egg. If they touch one and it begins to crack then they know they've found their dragon, not all eggs crack when they're first touched. In fact some came take years to find the right rider and riders can be in training for quite a while before they get their dragon. Of course there are still some who believe only a few riders should be chosen and there shouldn't be a school set up for them to find their dragons. They like to intercept the eggs and try to steal them from the school. Which side would you choose?

This is loosely based off of Eragon and How to Train your Dragon. I'm honestly not an expert on either of those. I'm looking for someone to co-gm with me and help me come up with ideas for things to happen.

Sophia Aldershade

Name: Sophia Aldershade
Gender: Female
Age: 17
Description: Sophia is tall, standing at 5'10" she is commonly one of the fastest of her friends. She's a solid 175 lbs (someone please tell me if this sounds right for someone tall and muscular. I'm not that tall.) Mostly all legs which really helps with her kicks and she used to be awkward with her height, but now she can use it to her advantage.
History: Sophia was born in to the Aldershade family with only one brother who is older than her and already off in Indris. Her parents are both there as well and considered which institute to send her to. She loved the idea of the LA one as she always wanted to be close to the water and had begged from the time she was ten that she could go to this institute to train. She still loves her family and can't wait to see them, but she is ready to be back in the big city and getting to fight actually demons, not the kid runs they go on most of the time.
Personality: She's more of a timid girl, doesn't want to be the leader of the pack. She'll let others make the decisions and take all the fame, but she doesn't have a problem talking to others. She's not shy necessarily, she just doesn't like the spotlight. She's got a horrible sense of humor, but tries to make jokes constantly to break any tension or just because she believes she's funny. If there is an option between going out to a club and staying to spare and practice, she will always take the second. Though, she can get a bit wild when she needs to let loose or risk breaking down from stress.
Likes: The way runes look on people's skin, most downworlders actually (don't let her parents catch her saying that), magic, winter, and the color orange, like a sunset.
Dislikes: Loud people (especially when angry), cooking, being sent on simple jobs that twelve year olds could do, and most cats.
Weapon of Choice: Typically a crossbow or a sword, depending on the day and who she is with.

Name: Penelope Carrows
Nickname: Penny
Age: Actually 97
Age: Looks 20
Sexuality: She's almost 100, there's only so many people of one gender out there.
Race: Vampire (preferably a day walker)
Personality: Penelope was quite cruel when she was first turned, she didn't understand how something like this could happen to her. In time though she's learning to forgive and feels that she needs to be more of a teacher than antagonist. She struggles to fit in with her people sometimes, but would always side with them even if she believes there could be a better option.
Bio: Penelope was turned when she was 19 actually, just on the edge of her 20th birthday. Her friends had decided to take her out early to celebrate as they were all going to be away during the actual month. It'd been a scary night and most of her friends had died, she doesn't know why she survived, but she woke up buried and craving the taste of blood. It was hard to find a clan to take her in since she didn't know who had originally bitten her, but after moving around quite often she finally settled down in LA.

I'm having trouble deciding between a shadowhunter and a vampire. Also, how do you feel about day walkers?

Edit: I missed that you wanted us to do both characters if possible so I think I'm good for this. Yay! I'm fine with Penelope being a normal vampire too, but unless there was more I figured she may be left out on quite a bit of action during the day.

Region of Luna (Let's explore our secrets)

Region of Luna

There are six kingdoms in the northern region of Luna, each with the need to band together against "Rogues" who are invading their community. Each kingdom must send their oldest child to fight for them. Or... That's what the people believe is happening. These six have actually been sent to increase support within the kingdoms. They must just help strategize and are trained to fight, though they won't likely see battle while they are away. They visit camps of soldiers to see show their support and end up in bad situations quite often. Each prince(ss) has a secret they've been keeping and such close quarters may lead them to being spilled.

Everyone's got a secret they want to keep hidden. Whether that's their sexuality, stealing, or even murder. Most have avoided it getting out to their parents and may have a friend or two from home that know. During this rp there will be situations where they will be tested and someone's secret will come out.

I need a co-gm or someone to help me come up with situations that will reveal secrets! Everyone would be sending their secrets to me through pm and the co-gm may not even know whose secret it is, just that it is one. It's a modern setting, so the troops will be in buildings and the children (20s) will act how we do now.
