Except cannonballs are both (usually) iron, and incredibly dense. Coconuts are neither of those things. Even moving at the same speed as a cannonball, they would not have the same energy because they have less mass. All in all, 10/10, crystal beats coconut.

Edit: I'd also like to know what these other glaring issues in my post were. Or at least what you think they are. The more I learn my errors the more I can improve!

Corban's sheet also explains he is a master at breaking things. Also, there was no metric for how hard his cannonballs actually were. There is no comparable metric for how much they were hardened. Even hardened three times over that would not be enough to stop themselves from getting impaled on something like a giant crystal spire when they meet it at breakneck speeds.

You can continue gas-lighting and playing the deflection game as long as you wish. I am removing myself from the conversation until Shawdus has met out his judgment, at which point you may whine or cheer to your hearts content.
The word 'javelin' was only one issue he stated, and the only issue that hinged on my wording. His misinterpretation of where their genesis was was his own shortcoming.

I explained what it was and where it came from in two different ways. I used quartz, which is what most sand is, and I used the word silica, also a form of sand. The issue here is that I did not outright say 'sand', which isn't about my wording as it is his understanding of the composition of a beach.
@starfall
That's an incredibly one-dimensional way of looking at it. The length of this debate was caused by several factors, you being one of them, on both sides, not just that singular detail. It was not my 'incoherency' that made DLL ignorant to where the lances cane from and how they came there. My post was fine minor a single detail in the word 'javelin' over 'lance'. An error that has already been learned from.

It seems your argument hinges on me not being a perfect being, not your self-serving diagnosis of my perceived incoherency. Honestly, it is tiring me out.
@starfall
I would hardly say that suffering coherence is the same as 'incoherent'. There is a large degree of difference between writing so vaguely that absolutely nothing can be ascertained and misplacing a single detail. So... Not really?

You may keep your opinion, however. I've no need of it.

@DLL
Well spoken!

However, i am a fight fiend myself. There are no universal laws which govern RP, and the literal sense she seems to be taking my words in aren't helping either. I am not ignorant. I dont believe in handholding. This does not mean that details are allowed to be totally removed, but to imply i cannot be vague, and to imply i must post in a manner that makes it 'easier' for my opponent is a practice I am not versed in. You either know or you don't.

To imply I am forced to post in a way that stops the need to ask questions and plays to her idea of a perfect style is counter-intuitive. You should ask questions, period. I will never withhold information requested, but i am free to write with whatever flavor i so choose so long as 'vague' does not devolve into in coherency, which it is a long shot from doing.

As for the 'quality' of my posts, I'm not sure what you mean. I am writing with the exact same vigor as my fight with Shawdus. You may dislike my posts if you want. I dont write to impress others anymore.

@Starfall
I'll take your intentions at your word. However, forgive me if I have a difficult time. All I can see is you jumping to the defense of your ally.

It is very fair to say there were miscommunications on both sides, and both of us suffered some comprehension lag. You have attempted to zero in on my perceived mistakes to alleviate the pressure from D, which is fine, but also probably not the most professional thing to do given your relation to him, and the fact this was being discussed between he and I, and you are no tournament officiator or judge. To try and tell me of my 'flaws' is not you trying to be 'fair', lets be honest here. Its an attempt at the basest form of deflection.

@Starfall
Its fair enough that javelin was perhaps not the best word, admittedly, however, that one oversight does not overshadow the many other oversights in D's own post. Nor does it justify the reasons given. And once again, these are all issues that could have been avoided when he first asked me questions about my post. It has been made very clear to me he was still confused after asking his questions, but continued anyway. Beyond that point, I am at no fault.

Secondly, writing ability is not a gauge for combat ability, and I can't find a reason why such a thing would matter at all here. My comment about comprehension was not a jab, but if his pride is hurt, feelings regenerate. The rest of my post is equally valid. It's all just physical mechanics.

Also, none of his coconuts were 'frozen' in mid-air. They were impaled, and simply stopped sliding down the length after some time. Reading comprehension skills again. I also dont believe im perfect, or insinuated such. Your needless gas-lighting here has been the only thing 'insulting' about anything that has transpired here.

Thirdly, I am not Gun. You are not my guests. Even if I was, to suggest I am not allowed to have beliefs and opinions that are unpopular to other competitors is silly.
The idea that an attack or defense must match the length of the opponents to be valid is, in my opinion, an incredibly outdated T1 practice. The fact they came from the ground would have been as simple to find out as reading the words 'reverted back into silica'. Silica is sand, and we're on a beach. There is also the option of communication. You asked several questions regarding this exact post, yet never included your confusion or aggravation at my defense.

moreover, I find your wording in your riposte post..... Convenient. I recall nothing of the coconuts being made 'harder' by your telekinesis. No clues, no nothing. It was simply stated she flung coconuts at Corvana, and could control them mid-flight. The only shadow of a hint was the word 'cannonball', which is highly disingenuous, not just vague. This could refer to speed, but not density since coconuts are not that dense, obviously. Your riposte posits they had always been that hard, which is not the case insofar as the posts are concerned.

again, it falls to a judge so for now we play the waiting game.
However, all of the details were there. This 'lack of detail', this 'blindfold' is imaginary. I can agree that amiability and understanding are important, but I repeat that it is not my responsibility to make sure my opponents reading comprehension skills are up to par when the puzzle pieces are already there. It is not my responsibility to alter my writing style because one person happens to not like any form of vagueness.

I gave several clues as to what was happening. Pretty clear clues, in fact.
