It's something that is just there just because it would be fun, or it's funny for that moment type of thing. Sure, it's a trade of goods/services in a way, but like, in what normal MMO, would you find washing the NPC's dishes to be an actual quest?
It's things like chopping wood, drawing water, and hunting.

Well, I based it off the personality you seemed to give her. I figured kindly person, garden, little shed maybe, a well maybe, because damned if she's going to have to wander off to find a pond or river for water and soups, maybe something else should be outside too, because it seems empty, how about a drying rack :P
