Lillith was up the steps with Aniela close on her heels when she glanced over her shoulder. It was a habitual action, there was no real reason for it, but it allowed her to catch sight of Ivan advancing with his gun.
Oops.
Lillith tried to suppress a smirk and darted inside. She made a quick detour to her suite to leave her catch with her servants. They knew what they were supposed to do, and they had a container of chloroform and another container of sleeping medicine ready. They'd give him the sleeping medicine, for now, and make sure he remained unconscious till it did its work. They'd also clean up the human for her. It was a pity, she had planned on being the one to clean up and search her new toy, but if Ivan was on his way in, she had better hurry to where Vlad was with Aniela.
After her quick detour she asked a servant where her Uncle would be. It seemed that he was busy though.
Well, I better make sure to run into him before Ivan does, whenever he isn't busy anymore.
"Aniela, it seems my Uncle has some business he needs to tend to. Want to head out to my room? You can stay in a room next door to my room, or stay in my room if you want." She offered with a brilliant smile.
Hopefully, Ivan, would choose to go searching for Vlad first before asking a servant. Admittedly, that was probably too much to hope for. So it would probably be best if she got her guest situated first. On the other hand, Aniela might well make for good backup against Ivan.
