i'm finally getting a rp off the ground

I have had experience role playing at a old site known as Whookos forum (I was known as Death's messenger and Zeek on there). I've always had a interest in sci fi, movies, video games. For consoles I own a 3DS, 3DS xl, New 3DS xl, PS Vita, Wii U, Xbox one, Gamecube, N64, Gameboy Advance SP, Gameboy Advance, Gameboy Color, Gameboy Pocket. I have a lot of games, from the Zelda, Mario, Smash, Mario kart, Halo, Assassin's Creed, Pokemon, and Monster Hunter.

(before anyone says it, yes I made this rp after reading the book The Giver)
It is the year 5012, WWIII made the land of the Earth uninhabitable back in the year 4015. The UE (United Earth) decided to create floating cities. The floating cities sit high the atmosphere and have environmental controls that can change the weather, filter sunlight to avoid UAV poisoning and creates oxygen for the inhabitants inside. The number of Floating cities depended on how many survivors of each country. The population of the planet has halved in size because of WWIII. The only way to go from one city to another is the floating sky ships that range from small private ships that only the rich can afford to the large carriers that transport the middle class. Throughout the whole planet only the High, middle, and working class were given shelter in the floating cities because they were the ones that were found in the designated safe zones.(there are people still on the earth’s surface but those are people like the monks in the Himalayas, and tribal groups that refused to leave.) The cities are all interdependent of each other and constantly trade goods in between cities to keep the peace. Each city has its own Robotic security system to stop crime from happening in the cities.
All the cities have the same educational system. All children are taught the basics until they graduate high school. Each subject is graded separately so that the school can figure out what job the child is best suited for. At graduation each student is given a diploma and a job that they will learn about by being an apprentice to someone who is experienced in the job.
Recently some of the sky ships have been mysteriously disappearing on their travels. The ships are storage ships but that loss of supplies is still dangerous to the UE. The civilians only hear rumors about the disappearing ships but officials will not answer any questions about it. There are also rumors going around that there are people living on the surface in areas that weren’t deemed inhabitable by the UE.
Our characters with be graduating high school at the beginning of the story. So age is 17-18.

Leo walked up to the table that showed a map of the area around his village and the surrounding villages. The General said "come stand over here son" Leo nodded and walked over and stood next to the General. The General said "watch this map it shows our early warning system on the night they attacked your village." The map then was shown going through the hours and about a few minutes before the attack all the villages surrounding it had alarms going off.
The General said "They sent out their harvesters to distract us while they took out your village." Then He shook his head "They are somehow learning where our elite warriors are and how to either avoid them or over power them. George was our 7th eite warrior we've lost this week." Leo looked at the General and said "7th?"
The General sighed and said "recently the Macrobians have been taking out our elite warriors one by one and we have been trying to keep that from the public for some time, but this one was a whole different story." The General clenched his hand "they are now using our warriors as a energy source."
Leo said "we have to find a way to get to their base so we can destory their breeders, then we can cripple them."
(Apollo)
Apollo was on a hill watching the Harvesters and the other Macrobians. From his spot he could see other groups all over the place. A flying Macrobian landed behind Apollo and kneeled saying "Master, we have news from our spies"
Apollo said "don't call me Master, I am a soldier just like you"
The flying Macrobian said "yes sire, now the news from the spies is that rumors are going around about a Gallean that can use magic with out the Goddess Cells given to elite Warriors."
Apollo said "report that to Julius as soon as you can"
The flying Macrobian said "yes sire" then he flew off.
Apollo then gave a signal and the harvesters all began to go back into the pores and return to base.

Apocalypse decided to walk outside the house and said "I wonder if I can see anything from in the air." Apocalypse then crouched slightly as his feet began to glow and then he leaped high into the air, while making the ground shake and crack. For a split second he could see the ocean close to the island. He then landed with a thud and said "wow this place is a lot higher than I thought." He said
