i'm finally getting a rp off the ground

I have had experience role playing at a old site known as Whookos forum (I was known as Death's messenger and Zeek on there). I've always had a interest in sci fi, movies, video games. For consoles I own a 3DS, 3DS xl, New 3DS xl, PS Vita, Wii U, Xbox one, Gamecube, N64, Gameboy Advance SP, Gameboy Advance, Gameboy Color, Gameboy Pocket. I have a lot of games, from the Zelda, Mario, Smash, Mario kart, Halo, Assassin's Creed, Pokemon, and Monster Hunter.

You wake up to a unfamiliar sky. You sit up to get your surroundings and realize you are not in your house anymore.
(all other races)
last night there were some weird lights in the sky, some saw it some didn't, most wake up the next morning and don't care, but others may be now exploring the woods under where the lights were shinning.

Abilities- he is really good at strategy, and a strong fighter with a sword
Weaknesses- does not know magic, doesn't like talking about his father's stepping down from the throne.
History- Alex had a tough life growing up. His father trained him to be a King from a young age. The training was hard and strict. Alex didn't understand until he turned 21 and his father told him that he was stepping down from the throne and Alex was taking his place. The reason why his father stepped down is still only known by the royal family, which has created some rumors going around the Kingdom. This made it harder for Alex to rule, but over a few years he was able to win the people over. When the King died Alex knew that he would have to set up another treaty with the new queen, so he traveled to the kingdom to talk to the new queen about the future of trade in between the two kingdoms.

@ VarionusNW I'd prefer it if the humans never existed in the world before and that no one knows how they got there. That is suppose to be the big mystery in the story.
Also about other species besides elves and dwarves. I'll allow other species but please bring them up here if you want them. that way I can keep tabs on how there are.

well we need more interest to start this
man this is going to be fun, Things will be interesting between my character wanting to trade with the city and the corrupt adviser.
Alex got out of his seat and started heading to his next class but ended up getting lost in the halls. "great first day of school and I'm already lost." He said with annoyence. Alex then began to walk down the hall trying to find the history class he is suppose to be in soon.
