Nero landed at the mouth of his cave and finished eating his prey burying the rest in the snow to avoid attracting attention to the mountain cave. Nero then laid down again to began rest his new wounds still stinging from the fight. "not even the animals will leave me alone in these lands." He said to himself and to began to doze off.

The guard just nodded his head and waved them on as he made sure the two made safely inside without being seen. The guard then went back to patrolling.

The council member said "between you and me I think that if you can convince the Ayomotas the rest of the council may vote the two cowards out of the council." Alex looked at the council member and said " and how exactly do you think I should do that, just walk into their village and say "hey I have proof that we are not the only clans in the area and if we don't join forces we both will be wiped out", they would kill me before I could finish that sentence." They council member went to answer but paused. Alex turns and stepped a little closer to the council member and said "what is it?" The council member said "there might be a way." Alex took a step back and said "are you saying that you've had contact with the Ayomotas?, isn't that treason?!"

Nero stopped eat to look and see that he is now surrounded by wolves. Nero growled at them and stood over his prey. Some of the wolves tried to get closer but Nero knocked them away with the tail. The other wolves then charged at him jumping on his back and biting and clawing him. Nero roared in pain and then began to rip them off on himself using his claws, teeth, and tail. Nero then finally said "enough" and he then finally used his fire breath burning a bunch of the wolves and when the others saw it they turned and ran away knowing they were outmatched. Nero then growled because some of the trees had caught fire. Nero grabbed his prey and flew back to his cave on the top of the mountain.

Nero woke up to his stomach growling. Nero sighed and said "I guess it's time to eat." Nero then leaped off the cliff and glided down into the forest surrounding the city where he slowly searched for something to eat. He quickly found and caught a deer that he began to feast on until he heard distant howls. Nero growled and said "great more annoying creatures."

Nero had been flying for so long he had lost track of time, He could feel the wound on his front leg stinging. "damn those humans, they will never learn to respect a dragon." Nero said as he finally found a cave among the snow covered mountains. He landed harshly because of his wound and he limped over to the mouth of the cave where he finally collapsed on the ground. The snow felt cool against his wound and he looked out at land that this cave overlooked. There was a large human city down at the bottom and there were more mountains on the other side. Nero said "I guess I'll rest here for now, maybe I'll finally get some peace and quiet here." Nero then lowered his head to the ground and began to nap.
