As the sun shined down on the training camp in the morning Dianna walked out of the female dorm and stretched her arms out while taking in a breath of the fresh air after having escaped the stagnant air of the dorm which wasn’t the best smelling due to the fact hard working trainees lived there. Despite all the showers they might take, one couldn’t escape from being tired, dirty, and smelly at some points. Either way, Dianna enjoyed being able to step off the wood patio in front of the building and walk down the main lane of buildings which had the training area right across from them. Some new trainees were being broken in with one of their earliest tests; 3D maneuver gear training. Watching them rig themselves up for a moment she put a hand to her chin and took note of what she saw. Dianna had helped one of her peers originally with this very training when on the first day he had fallen down. Unlike a few people around, she tried to help some others exceed so they would have the proper skill once they had to face Titans. Just scraping by would lead them to get killed in action. Some of her officers enjoyed what she did, while others resented her for helping those who were weak. Finding it odd she forgoes some of her training to help, but most didn’t know the time she would lay awake at night figuring out how to improve her skill and practice alone with what she could.

Seeing the one boy gloat and then fail in the distance she sighed slightly. It pained her to see someone try and show off when facing the fact they can’t do it would lead them to train better in the areas they acknowledge their weakness. “There are always a few…” she said aloud before watching a few more test and thinking about how far she had come. “Three year eh?” she then muttered as she took a moment to notice how fast it had truly gone. In truth, her first try at the gear had been a flop and her instructor initially thought she would be another useless recruit. Little did he know the determination she showed and with the next test she had been one of the best at staying up before she helped the other peer she recalled. Dianna had a gift with the 3D maneuver gear in a sense. While she certainly wasn’t the physically strongest recruit, she was certainly agile and precise, except when it came to a fire arms. She couldn’t hit the side of a barn with them which contradicted her usually perceptive nature.

“They are going to have us work hard today though, it’s far too good of a day for an all-day training session for them not to.” She noted before shrugging to herself. Not lie she would have a say, so complaining didn’t matter. If she complained, she would be rejecting her drive to be a soldier anyway, and the nights she spent to keep her skill with some secret practice as well as simply lecturing herself under the stars would have been wasted. Some can do it without practice, but Dianna had tried hard to get to the skill she now had before the final tests would come. “Beats training in the summer though.” She added afterwards as she continued her walk with a small smile and moving to hold her hands behind her back. Even if they don’t have us train for the day, may as well enjoy the walk for now she thought. A minute or so later as she circled the center training ground she came across Kobe who layed back.

Moving her head in front of the sun she said while looking down at him. "I'm not the only one who enjoys this weather then?" she asked before smiling slightly and standing straight back up. Casual and kind in her voice as she is to everyone. "Though, I don't think you will be able to relax for to long. Soon here we are going to be called to train. I'm surprised they didn't have us up at sunrise on a day like today."

It's in Jasonhero's post. Maybe I read it wrong and he was just watching new recruits, but he mentioned the grades and scoring he got on it. Also, I don't mean to be rude, but would a soldier be allowed to just go around wearing a Titan mask by his officers? Not that it matters to me, but thinking about it setting wise I think the officers would find it a bit extreme and not part of the soldier uniform and all.

Aptitude tests? They are in their last year of training so I thought we'd be past those beginners tests-
No no, it can be a surprise! I like surprises.
Lilith smirked as Yerbol described his sister’s less frequent delinquent side and simply thought of what things that could lead to or how she got that kind of personality. She could relate to his sister a little because, after all, to live the life of an agent she needed her own wilder side to life with the ‘excitement’ that can come with it. Then again, she thought, her wild side and his sisters might be entirely different beasts. “She sounds like a handful.” She simply responded with her smile before turning back to her book and placing her earbud back in. Hours would past and soon enough she would catch a glimpse of their destination lightning up as their plane went down through the clouds to land.

While Yerbol appreciated the rain for what it brought, Lilith appreciated it as it allowed for an excuse to wear a hood to both prevent her from being seen in a distance as well as well as the sound dampening it added. An agents best friend in terms of weather when aiming to be unnoticed in her mind, unless she was back in training and didn’t have the hang of avoiding the splash of a puddle. Another part of her appreciation was the cool air the rain brings with it. She did though; find herself a bit damp as they entered into their hotel room. Placing her jacket onto the coat rack and walking in she replied aloud “Not always, I’ve had to stay in a dirt shack during one mission in the Middle East. My first one to be exact, I’ll spare you the details though as it was simply a cut and clear takedown mission for a member of a group who soon became a part of ISIS.” After which she walked to the window and took a look at the skyline quickly while adding on. “I can take the room on the left and you can have the one on the right. Deal?” she said, though it was less of a question at the end and more so a pleasantry as it didn’t matter so him agreeing was really the only response that fit. As he took out his phone and checked the time she took turned back and listened before the door suddenly was knocked on.

Once the force was affirmed she didn’t instantly take her pistol as Yerbol did his, and she didn’t expect gunfire when the door opened. Due to the fact if the enemy wanted to open fire in the hotel they would also likely bash the door in just as fast. A firefight already isn’t discreet. “Well it certainly was someone.” She responded as first as she slowly approached from behind before he then opened it. A few feet away she caught sight of the box and said. “It’s not going to explode if you are worried. There are far easier and less convoluted methods someone could use for such things than leave a box and knock. Ornate boxes are easier to find out where they came from after all after the pieces are gathered by forensics.” Bending over she gently picked the box up and examined it while holding it at her fingertips. “It is a nice box, after I check it for any dirty intent I may very well wish to keep it.” Turning back into their room she said. “Close the door quickly, and keep your guard up. If it is a message from our friend it means they know where and who we are already.” Her guard seemed very relaxed at this point, but that may be because she has been through worse and she was used to it. After which she would pull out a small toolkit that had a pick-lock set and aimed to open the lock while also making sure she wasn’t headed in for some crazy trap by opening it.
The waiting is killing me. :3
I wonder how Titans fare in freezing temperatures. Though they do have a high body temperature as well.
Thanks, the time of changing leaves. Should be fun to see winter hit.
What day of the year is it going to start at?
