Introduction

My nickname here is Dobroser, but you can also call White Flame Dancing on the Graves of his Foes (or Marty in short).

I have used to roleplay for quite a few years, almost whole high school, but then fire nation students loan attacked and forced me to divide my leisure time between sleeping, studying and drinking away my insecurities. Fortunately for my sanity, these times are over and I have chance to take up my favourite hobby once again.

I'd like to say that after all these years, I'm quite capable when it comes to roleplaying but, because modesty is one of my greatest virtues, let's just say that my writing is on a casual level.

Though I'm pretty active and you will be able to see me here on almost daily basis, I probably won't be able to post everyday so please be okay if it takes me two or three days to respond. In my experience, rushing posts can kill RP as surely as stagnancy.
When it comes to length, I usually try to post something between two to five paragraphs, but it can get a little bit shorter in dialogue heavy „sequences“ or it can get a little bit longer when I have to describe something in detail.

Also, I'd like to apologize in advance for mistakes I'm bound to make. My first language is quite different from English when it comes to composition of sentence and because of that, some of my sentences can look a little bit odd. Despite this, I swear to keep my grammar in check.

Things I like in roleplays
Fantasy – I grew up on stories about swords and magic and though my tastes changed quite a bit, I still enjoy good old fantasy stories, be it about fighting evil wizards and their armies of horrendous creatures, or more cynical and realistic stories about men killing men, that are so popular these days.
Science fiction – another genre that I grew up on and still enjoy after all those years. Though I'm no good at the science part of this genre and have hard time keeping the technology reasonable, I still like doing scifi roleplay quite a bit, be it space operas or cyberpunk spy games.
Romance – liked, but optional. I'm sucker for a good romance, but I don't want to push into every roleplay just for a sake of banging. Ifthere will be a decent chemistry between our characters, I have nothing against it, but I have learned that simple friendship can be as satisfying as passionate romance (at least in RPs).
Horror - I love this genre and am quite sad it is so neglected in roleplays, because it allows your imagination to run wild. Also, like I said above, I like weird things and it's not such a long trip to go from weird to outright unsettling.

Desperate measures

I know it's perverted logic, but it's our last and only chance. We have to lose our faith in order save it, unchain the darkness to preserve the light. Pray to gods for forgiveness, because we are going to release the beast.

There are gutted whores in the harbour, riots in the slums, pogroms in the ghettos and, if you believe the rumours, it looks like there will be another guild war. This city is like a ship that´s full of holes and it's our job to keep it from sinking down, with hatred and premature death being our only reward. Welcome to hell, officer. “

„Good evening. Yes, evening, it has been more than eight hours since I kidnapped you. Please, don´t look so afraid, I won't harm you. At least not without a proper reason. Who am I? You can call me Magister. Rude, it doesn´t sound stupid!
Why did I capture you? Well, you´ve got special eyes. Whoa, that came out creepier than I wanted. But you know what I mean, don´t you? No? So you want to tell me that you have never seen anything unusual? Like dangerously looking people with small horns on their foreheads kind of unusual? Or what about that nice lady from the library...
Do you want to tell me that you have never noticed that halo of light above her head? Come on, don't lie to me. I have seen your medical record and you have eat more pills than average junkie from German rave. But it isn´t working, is it? You still see things, no matter how doped you are. Well, that's because there is nothing wrong in your head. Everything you see is real and I can prove it to you. You just have to promise me not to run.”
