Personality:
Compassionate: Be in due to her canine kin nature, or her being in general, Mila can be a very compassionate person when she wants to be. She is easy to trust others, which could also be a flaw, and she enjoys the company of others. Often there will be moments where she will procrastinate and just relish in the moments she spends with others even if they don't want her there. Due to her high level of compassion she does have a hard time recognizing when she isn't wanted and it often results in people having to just tell her to leave them be or what not. But rest assured, she will not hold a grudge and she will be back the next day to show you kindness. This can be a downside to her nature as well as others can take advantage of her. She can be mean when she needs to be but she often chooses to try to be happy.
Thrill Seeker Mila has often been called an adrenaline junky as she never seems to run out of energy at any point in the day. Well... except for when she wants to sleep which can be whenever she pleases. Mila often feeds off of things that most others would not want to do. She loves fun and bringing fun to others even if they don't want it. Often times she will get herself hurt or put herself in harms way by going after these thrills. She does not chase cars though.

Background:

Mila grew up in a small village on the outskirts of a large human village. The two villages never got along or so she grew up thinking and the humans virtually never came down to their village. Her villages was seen as a type of "shanty-town" compared to the large extravagant buildings and architecture of the human settlement. It wasn't until she was about 13 when a few humans started to make their way into her village. They seemed harmless enough but that would prove to change rather quickly. Her village consisted solely of her canine kin brothers and sisters and the humans treated them like dogs, literally. Seemingly barbaric in nature, a few of her friends were made fun of by the humans as they sought to use them for amusement or have them work more tasks. Luckily, Mila was not subjected to the abuse or harsh nature of the humans. In her small village everyone looked out for one another and each canine kin was equal. She was no royalty but she knew as a child what wasn't right.

Mila is being sent to the Academy to get an education and to try and make a difference for her people. She is going there due to the Academy being opened up to Beastkin now. She plans to further her education.

Her views towards humans have changed drastically. At first she disliked them but in her nature she wanted to like them just because they she didn't see how they were that different. She believes that there is good in all of us, human or beast kin, but it just takes gumption and reason to act on it. She does not hate humans, she just dislikes their attitudes and actions towards her fellow beast kin.
Mila aims to help change her village and the lives of those she came into contact with after she graduates. She doesn't know how she will do this as her parents know nothing as well, but she plans to learn.

One thing that needs to be corrected.
-The school will be taking in it's first batch of beastkin students as the roleplay starts. So the part about her parents not letting Mila attend, and her doing it out of her own volition would work, as it'd mean she'd be set to join the roleplay several years after all the other characters.
Besides, that I like the character!
Don't mind the phone thing at all, it's a reference image, and doesn't have to be picture perfect down to the last hair strand :P

Tokoshie no Ansoku

Before long a man who came to call himself the Director showed his face to all of the girls in the Auditorium. Jyne knew not his agenda but she was torn between wanting to immediately trust him or rip his throat out. And he had only said one sentence. The latter option would not look that great in front of many of the girls she was sure and the military would not much like that. Plus, she wasn't that edgy to do that anyways so she sat quietly and listened to the man speak to them.
After a while a girl with green hair was brought up and the crowd started to murmur and whisper as they were all unsure of what was about to happen to her.

Encased in a small arena a malformed and disgusting creature was sent in with a one on one match underway between the girl and the beast. Jyne felt like she had witnessed one of those beasts before first hand but her memories were scattered and broken so trying to remember was only causing her to develop a headache.
Before long girls were standing up and gasping as the two started their battle. Jyne stood up to get a better view of the fight and right off the bat it didn't look good.
The girl was clipped by the beast and yet sent back a good ways but she was able to recoil herself and get back in the fight. She cheered for her inside as she kept quiet on the outside.

After what felt like an eternity the beast was defeated and the girl was left with bruises, scrapes and a bloody nose. She sat back down and the Director then gave the girls two options: They could either stay and use their powers to fight the ever growing threat. Or they could leave and have their memories wiped.
Jyne did not give the options a moments thought as she had already decided on what she wanted to do. She had nothing on the outside so why leave a place that would provide for her? Or that was her train of thought.
Girls of all kinds stood up and made their way to the exit to leave the room but a few were staying behind and moving to the front or staying in their seats.

Jyne stood up but did not make her way to the exit. She pushed her way through a mob of girls and found a seat closer to the front. Just in time to hear a girl speaking her mind and asking questions to the Director. She stayed silent and sat down a row behind them. She knew the Director was right in that they could not avoid this. She felt like she had experienced this change for a reason. She knew it was deadly but she enjoyed it.
She wanted to learn to control it. So, she would stay.

Shouldn't we all ave been stripped of our belongings? As far as I understand, all that's not glued to our character's bodies was taken. How did Jyne kept her locket?
