Thematically it does! Just shoot for a fleshed out character, not a zealous caricature of a religious person (one of my pet peeves). Like he can convince himself vigilante justice is the only godly option left, but I'm not sure about literally hearing voices.

Also very interested! Currently thinking a parish priest who hears God telling him to exact holy vengeance on drug dealers and the like - hope that meshes with the feel you're going for?

Old Dog, New Tricks

Hi everybody! I'm a prodigal play by post RPer returning to forum play after years of absence - I started when I was around 13, but lost track around college and real jobs. I've since found myself with substantial time on my hands, which I've been trying to use for creative writing with limited success, so I figured a return to forums would spark my creativity (and motivation!) while also providing some much needed entertainment.

I'm a fan of any genre as long as the plot is solid, and I prefer longer, more advanced RPs. Looking forward to getting to know everybody and dig into some good stories!

NB - I'm currently based in sub Saharan Africa and occasionally have issues getting WiFi each day, so strap in for some irregular posting at bizarre hours!
