"I'll be door guard." Kate said, watching them go and leaning on the doorframe. Hopefully they come back in one piece. She thought worriedly, idly spinning the microphone stand.
She takes a deep breath, lets it out, and nods. "Yeah, Irene is right, the sooner the better. It's not like anything much will help us if we don't secure necessities." Kate says, still on guard for zombies.
((bluhbluhbluh I need a clock in my craft room >.<))
[Kate]
She remained on guard for zombies while Irene and Matt talked, and nods to agree with Matt about the microphone stand. As Irene lays down, she nods to her. "Got it."
((seriously how has it been six hours?! What is this I don't eveeeen))
"Roger roger." Her mouth twitches into a slight smile that soon fades as she follows Matt to the doors, standing on the other side and watching for Irene, also keeping an eye on the rest of the room, just in case.
She follows Matt, giving the girl with a pencil in her eye a confused look. "Wow, people are already starting to lose it." She murmurs under her breath to him, looking around warily. Is anyone actually looking for weapons? she wondered.
"Thanks." She takes one and twirls it experimentally, taking a few steps away from Matt and spinning it as if it were a bo staff, nodding to herself. Kate sets it down and leans on it, pushing her glasses up and looking over at Matt. "Alright, what now?"
Kate looks around, noting that people were starting to spread out. With a slight shake of her head and a sigh, she picks her backpack up and jogs to catch up with Matt. "Hey, care if I tag along with you?"
