Thanks for checking out my interest check. You can call me Dart, and serious brownie points if you get the reference without google. Snacks and drinks can be found in the fridge (in your home so help yourself :p). I will update this thread as I have more thoughts and ideas on what I’m interested in.
About me:
I am a working professional in my 30s. I work a regular full-time job and so usually have time to post multiple times a day but at least once a day. I love OOC chat so hit me up, a lot of my good friends I met online. I prefer to play with people 18+ regardless of whether the plot contains mature themes or not. Speaking of mature themes, I have few limits and we can discuss in PM if our RP is going to contain mature themes. I am fine with either fade to black or writing out smut as it comes up. I prefer my plots to be centered around a romantic connection of some kind but I also enjoy fully fleshing out the rest of the story. I prefer to play male characters in MxF pairings and I also enjoy FxF pairings but I don’t do MxM (nothing against it, I just don’t write it well). I prefer PMs vs threads due to possible mature themes or even just swearing.
Now for some ideas….
- Treasure Hunter: Think more Brendan Frasier in The Mummy and less Nicolas Cage in National Treasure. There are a few different ways to go with this, depends on what kind of character you want to play. For example, a guy who has chased treasure his entire life finds out that he has a different kind of treasure waiting for him at home when he gets a postcard telling him about the kid he didn’t know he had (also multiple ways to do this plot). Or rival treasure hunters team up when they get left for dead on the same dig by a bbg. Or we could even do a ripoff of the Matthew McConaughey movie Fool’s Gold.
- Survival: We could do something with zombies (more Resident Evil games than Walking Dead) or natural disaster (or war).
- Death of a Friend: In high school you had best friends you thought you would keep in touch with for the rest of your life. Life happened and you drifted apart a couple of years into college, speaking maybe once or twice a year until one of your friend's commits suicide, a few hours after telling you he really needed to speak to you. You are now back in your hometown for the funeral but something doesn't feel right. What was so urgent? Why would he kill himself after leaving that message?
- Designated Survivor: I am currently binging this show on Netflix and thought it would make for an interesting RP. For those not familiar with the show, at the State of the Union Address in the capitol building is almost full with every member of the US Government (supreme court, congress, cabinet etc.). One person chosen by the sitting president sits out in a classified location in the event of the unthinkable, they are the "Designated Survivor" on an unprecedented decimation of government. It is usually a way to keep unfavored members of the government out of the spotlight - until the unthinkable happens.
- Anonymous Royal: The prince/princess has chosen to go to college/university in a different country where they can have a relatively normal experience - free from being known as the heir to the throne. They don't tell anyone who they are, just that they are a foreign student. They meet someone, fall in love, and now have to figure out how to explain that they didn't exactly lie but they definitely didn't tell the truth.
- Quarter Quell: How would the events of the Quarter Quell and the rest of the rebellion turned out if instead of victors being reaped it was relatives of victors reaped? Prim is reaped. One of Peeta’s brothers. And so on.
- Advert: A gentleman in the English countryside has placed an “order” with a match maker for a bride. Well, really, his mother placed the order. He is a bit surly and disagreeable but any woman who weds him would be well cared for. But is it worth his gruff exterior?
- Social Season: Bridgerton - need I go into more detail?
I purposely left the plots a bit vague so we could work on something together. Hit me up!
