The so called Island of myths and legends looked beautiful enough but would it really live up to it's namesake? For all the stories h was expecting a bit more, perhaps it would prove him wrong once they came ashore. "We should get ready."
"Will you give it a rest with the damn truck? It was either take it or wait for the zombies to come get us we didn't even know it belonged to anybody, not to mention you're still here with it so why are still complaining about it?" Damian snapped at Katya as he started the car forward again. He sighed and rubbed his temple calming himself down. "I'm sorry. I'm little on edge what with the dead coming back to life and the girl currently bleeding to death in the back. I'm Damian and I'm sorry for stealing your dad's truck."

Damian growled. "Everybody in? Good. Hold on!" He slammed his foot on the gas and the truck rushed forward crashing through a small group of the zombies gathered in front of it. "Take that ya undead pricks!" He yelled before maneuvering the truck past some crashed cars and kept going until the bar was no longer in sight.
Stopping the truck for a moment, Damian breathed a sigh of relief before looking back at Alexi. "Is she gonna make it to the station? Like Truck Girl said we do need to stop by the gas station and I do think it's closer..."

"On it! On it!" Damian was under the dash before Janette had finished the statement. He mustered up his strength fast and pulled it free in a matter of seconda and immediately went to work yanking at the wires. "Alright you go here...this one goes here. Just need to put you here and then..." As soon as Damian had connected the wire to the starter, the engine of the car roared to life. "Damn I'm good!" He crawled up into the driver seat. "C'mon people lets move!"
