Mifune merely let go of his sword and instead of attempting to dodge completely threw his right hand out and hit Setrak along the side opening a wound along his hand but knocking the point out of the way. Using his momentum and now free left hand he attempted to drive his claws (yes he has claws he is a werewolf) directly into Herriman's throat. Whether the attack would succeed or not mattered little as Mifune was braced for the impact of the blow and upon hitting Herriman would knock him to the ground as well as Mifune who would then stand and retrieve his sword with much haste.

no he isn't a lord of devils sorry bro, he is a badass for killing the equivalent of satan, but not a devil lord he doesn't have demon blood. Its more a plot thing its a devil lords mace, and it does have a soul if you read it was forged from adrians old swords, remember adrians old black sword it had a soul that could think for itself. it wouldn't bone him later, but it would burn the shit out of his hands, be heavy as hell to carry around everywhere, and prolly do some stupid shit at some point. Then again it utterly skullfucks demons and angels and they will ll wonder why you have it.

it is, but Arthur couldn't wield it without it burning his hands, and it constantly trying to get him killed its a demon lords mace. I mean im rewriting Adrian in his angel form now so go ahead and take it if you want, but make sure that you remember that its going to hurt Arthur, and it is demonic so it may do some weird stuff to fuck with him later, like try to possess him.

So if im not mistaken Herriman has normal human reaction times, granted they may be peak, but theyre normal. No normal human man could react to that at fifteen feet Mifune is moving faster than a bullet and your guy not only sees him but has enough time to both recognize his attack, mutate his arm and throw it to the side, and point a sword at him. Realistically by the time Herriman got his arm to the side he would be stabbed he isn't fast enough to move like that, and the fact he mutated first which im guessing isn't instantaneous based on the cracking and such is equally impossible.

This chain is feet long if im not incorrect as he pulls it upwards Mifune just turns his hand letting the link slide from the tip of the blade and cutting the link he had stabbed. This chain link is made of bone correct? Mifune's sword can cut through concrete with ease there shouldn't be a problem there. Also he wasn't stabbing feet into the ground it was more like he was holding the chain down and leaning on the sword not kneeling down with his sword stuck all the way through it. If he had been then trying to pull it would put Mifune in the point of leverage anyway and the bone would snap on the sword.

As the chain was pulled Mifune rushed forward ripping his sword form the ground as he did so. With Herriman pulling the chain upward Mifune had to rush forward at full speed. This not only allowed him to keep his sword firmly in his hands and keep him on his feet it also allowed him to capitalize on Herriman's movement. As the arm came up as Well as the chain not only did Mifune manage to keep up he more rushed forward so that the chain trailed along behind him rushing at the side that had Herriman's mutated arm. Just as he was about to hit the patch of mutated ground Mifune jumped just enough to let his feet brush above the ground. Should he need he could replant them, but his momentum would carry him forward into a fatal thrust directly at Herriman's heart. Mifune would be moving at his top speed by the time he reached Herriman.

Instead of attempting to dodge both attacks Mifune simply sidestepped the first then brought the blade of his katana down on the "chain" cutting through it. The remaining part soared off into the distance as Mifune drove his sword through the remnants of the chain pinning it to the ground. "Is that the best you've got?" Mifune said.
