If they're in Februsary, no, any other time, yes. I haven't had Vanessa do hers yet.
Julia smiled modestly. "I don't really fully understand it myself...it's not something one can just look up...but if I had to guess, I think my DNA is able to mutate at a faster rate than normal, perhaps on command, and it can react to my surroundings as like a danger instinct or something. Like, I don't have gills now because I can breathe in the oxygen using my lungs, but submerged in water like that, I can't just breathe in oxygen, I have to convert water to oxygen if I want to stay alive, so my body makes it happen to keep itself alive. At least that's my guess. I'm no scientist, so I don't know."
"Woah, that's weird. But still cool! It's like you're a cool mutant superhero or something!" The blue-eyed teen dazed off into a fantasy about superheroes saving the world for a bit. "I wanna be a hero, too..."
Julia chuckled. "I'm no hero."
Julia: "Um okay." She took a seat near Devon. "If no one else is going, I guess I will. My name is Julia, I'm 18, and it's pretty lame but I can change my appearance on my will - you're looking at my natural born appearance by the way - and I can also adapt to my surroundings." She got a clear bowl of water and submerged her head in it. She pushed her hair away from her neck and moved her fingers along her neck so they could see the gills that had grown. Soon the pulled her head out. Her hair was soaked and plastered to her neck, but when she brushed it back again, the gills were gone. "My adaptations are never permanent though."
Watching with wide eyes, Devon couldn't help but find the whole demonstration fascinating. "Wow...you gotta show me how that works sometime..." Honestly, it reminded the teen of some of the things the elder dragons had shown off before. And that would eventually be learned...maybe in a few years or so...if the younger dragon could just get through the arts that were already causing trouble... Which was, to say, not for a long time at this rate. Well...they wanted me to go socialize with humans instead of staying with the family for training...not my fault...right?

Julia edged her way over. "Uh, hi. Am I late? Sorry I'm late."
Devon turned and grinned at the second newcomer as she spoke up. "Hey, there! Come join the party! If you're here for camp, they're asking for an introduction and a truth or dare. Name, age, and power first, though!" It was kind of nice to be seeing so many new people. It was even nicer not being the odd one out here. With all these different kids here, being accepted by someone would probably be easy! Well, maybe. You never really know with people, right?

Vanessa was still absorbed with her technology. She could feel the code in her bones, technology was such a part of her. The only way it could be more important to her was if she was a cyborg.
Julia took notes studiously throughout the class but was relieved when it was over. She honestly had no idea what she would be doing for lunch. She thought about it as she stretched her muscles after having sat for so long. It would all depend on her father. If Professor Drake was in one of his more lucid and comprehensive states, then he would be here at the University, having gone to work. In that case she would eat with her father or wait for him if he was giving a lecture. If he was less than sane today, well, Julia could only hope that he stayed in the house.
Julia edged her way over. "Uh, hi. Am I late? Sorry I'm late."
That is great! Congrats!
*hugs back* It's okay Lord, I totally have experience with mental issues, I get saying/doing stupid stuff. No big deal. Why don't we just drop the subject? It isn't that important to drag out and obsess over, right?
Dude, it's okay, we all say things that come across as a misunderstanding. If no one is overly offended then don't feel bad.
