That's alright
Appearance:
Name: Atara "Rook/Rookie" Havelock Age: 21 Gender: Female personality: Atara is quite smart actually, as well as dedicated, determined and loyal. Some call her determination "stubbornness". She is often quiet, she isn't shy really but rather reserved and just not a chatty person. However, she can be kind and friendly when she feels like it. She likes to think she's brave, but that can lead her to doing stupid things. As far as the group goes, she has only been in the group for two years, hence her nicknames of Rook and Rookie, so she tries not to get in anyone's way and unless she has any bright ideas, she usually defers to the older and more experienced members of the group. Also, because she knows she's young and inexperienced she doesn't like showing weakness in front of her team or asking for help. species: Tanithian (as in from my made up planet Tanith). Skin tones vary from snow-white to scarlet-red to jet-black and every shade in between and in build are similar to humans/terrans. At age 13, Tanithians choose their vocational path, and until 18 years old they train for their vocation. Atara chose military. Relation: Atara has parents and an older brother. Historically, Atara's relationship with her mother has been strained due to Atara being interest and eventually choosing a more militaristic path rather than following in her mother's footsteps and becoming a healer. Just how much ebbs and flows. Atara's relationship with her brother is also strained because he chose to be a soldier as part of Tanith's military while Atara chooses not to be tied down to her home planet and it's rules and regulations. Atara has a wonderful relationship with her father though, who is a Tanithian ambassador to another planet. Weapons: She has a rifle, machine gun, and a pair of pistols. She also has small throwing knives that can be shot from her gauntlets and a larger knife for close quarter fighting. gear: She has a pack in which she carries everything. Though she is not that skilled in healing, she carries a basic first aid kit. She also has mountain climbing ropes and tools, an energy powered lantern, and if you dig down deep enough, a novel or two from the Intragalactic Library.
Yeah, I'm just going to paste my old character.
Luna rolled herself over to where there was a gap between the chairs, not bothering to switch between her wheelchair to a regular chair. She listened politely to the boy, Felice, as he spoke. She knew they were staring at her, especially after Felice stopped speaking. Well, maybe not outright staring, but it was like the nurses in the hallway - people couldn't not look at pitiful scenes, it was part of the human instinct, the whole at-least-that-isn't-me sort of thing. She shifted in her chair and cleared her voice. "My name is Luna, and I" she paused for a moment, searching for a hobby that she hadn't started because her mother told her to. "I like to sing. I've never sang in front of other people though." She thought back to make sure she hadn't forgotten anything. Oh yes, her reason for being here. "Well, it should be pretty obvious why I'm here," she said, resting her hand on one of her wheels, "but, for the sake of doing so, my legs have been paralyzed. All the docs say I'll never walk again, unless some miracle happens. So I'm here for rehab."
Leo rubbed the back of his head and glared after the other boy. Who did he think he was? If he wanted, Leo could have shouted after him, or make the ground shake, or make an earthquake or mountain appear from underneath him... but he didn't. He had a better control of his temper and his powers like that. Besides, he didn't want to accidentally hurt Scarlet. He wasn't interested in her, she was too old for him, but she definitely seemed like friend material.
Scarlet looked around until she noticed a white-blonde haired kid, maybe a year or two younger than her also looking lost. She walked up to him. "Hi. New here too?" Leo looked up at the orange-red haired girl with stylish clothes that spoke to him. "Uh, yeah. I'm Leo, Leo Hendrix. You?" He offered his hand hastily. Scarlet shook his hand. "Dane, Scarlet Dane. Would you like to come with me and find out where we're supposed to be?" Leo nodded. "Sure, I'd be happy to, Miss Scarlet." Scarlet snorted. "Please, none of that, I already get enough 'Miss Scarlet' and 'Miss Dane' from my aunt's friends. Just call me Scarlet." "Of course Scarlet," said Leo, and he started walking with his new companion around the school.
Well, yeah, I know what happened, I just don't understand why/the point.
Luna woke up after a nap. She'd been sleeping a lot these days. The doctors said something about her body being tired and needing to recover her strength, but she still didn't quite understand why she had to take so many naps in a day. She found a note left for her, saying she needed to go to her NEST club meeting. She sat up and pushed the blankets off. She smoothed out her summer dress and pulled her wheelchair closer. Technically, Luna should be calling a nurse for this, but now that there were several things Luna was no longer able to do on her own, she was determined to be able to do as many things as she could by herself, including this. She reached to arrange her bed to its height was level with the chair. She braced herself and moved her body in the chair, and then grabbed a hold of her legs and swung them onto the footrests. All this done, she wheeled herself to the mirror and fingered through her hair to make it look less bedhead before exiting the room. She wheeled down the hall, ignoring the sympathetic and pitying looks. A few nurses offered to push her to wherever she needed to go, but Luna smiled and told them she could make it on her own. She would make it on her own. At last, she wheeled into room A3-214. "Oh, am I late? I'm sorry."
great!
Yeah, I agree. I kinda tried to stay out of that conflict because it didn't quite make much sense to me.
