TLDR: Vampire x Human
(Romance, Action, Drama)
This plot requires you to somewhat control the narrative, but not completely. You must be willing to lead the story at some points, to create and take control of certain characters, and to have a certain amount of artistic freedom when it comes to the story. I will also be controlling many characters and weaving many details, but this is not a plotline in which you can sit back and let me do all of the work, mainly because of the highly ranked position that your character will hold within vampire society. All information below can be changed and altered, as this is merely a draft of the plot. Additional alterations will be considered if you have any other ideas that may improve the storyline.
SettingMedieval Europe - Wales
(Set in an AU, so you do not need to know your history, nor accurate accents. The location is merely a means of describing the architecture, culture, and technology of the time. Swords, shields, candlesticks, castles, horse-drawn carriages, etc.)
Playable Character(Character Sheets are a guideline but can be tweaked and information can be added to your liking. Feel free to add a history, biography, additions to the personality or physical description, etc.)
Lord Caedmon RhainAge700+
PersonalitySerious, broody, but can appreciate good humor. To a select few, he is gentle, loyal, and caring; to others, he is merciless, blunt, and cruel. He is contemptuous, obstinate, and vengeful toward those who offend him. Often arrogant and cocky, but intelligent and cunning.
DescriptionTowering and tall, with broad shoulders and a lean build. Long hair, either white or blonde. Red eyes, chiseled features, high cheekbones, and stern brows. Often dressed in a regal and expensive attire. Pale skin, cold to the touch.
RankCaedmon Rhain is the head of his house. Though he is no king, his rank still holds sway over the majority of the vampire race. He is a powerful, revered, and influential individual. He has lived for hundreds of years and has ruled over his territory for most of them. He frequently resides within his manor, a large estate in Wales, within his vast territory. This manor is very large, does not lack resources, and is even outfitted to care for human needs since humans are often kept to feed from. (Kitchens, dining halls, bedrooms, bathrooms, libraries, studies, barracks, stables, gardens, etc.) The Welsh territory was given to him and his house after his conquests in The Great Vampire War between the European and Asian countries hundreds of years ago, in which Caedmon was an Army General.
Vampire Specifics and BiologyThough there are many humans that believe in the existence of vampires, there are also many that do not. Vampires do their dealings in secret, and although they own land and hold lordship over many towns, cities, and regions, they do so under the facade of mortality. Most humans that know of their existence are often victims, politicians, or shady dealers and human traffickers.
Due to their reliance on human blood, vampires often keep a collection of human servants and captives to feed from, much like livestock. Although a vampire can turn a living human into one of their own, it cannot be done by simply feeding off of them, so a vampire will often keep their prey alive and healthy, and feed from them many times over. Some, the most bloodthirsty, do not always follow the same guidelines, and will sometimes give into their bloodlust and accidentally (or purposefully) kill humans while feeding off of them. Some humans taste much better than others, are prized more due to the delicacy of their blood, and are thus called "plums".
In order for a vampire to actually turn a human, the human and vampire must both feed off of each other. Once the transformation has been completed, a fairly painful process, the vampire and former human are irrevocably bonded to one another. This bond comes with a number of benefits -- like being able to literally feel the other's emotions and sometimes being able to sense where the other is located -- though not all bonds are as strong, and not all bonds come with the same connections, as the connection is an emotional one and depends heavily on the depth of the relationship.
A vampire, though incredibly strong, fast, and capable of a vast number of supernatural abilities, still comes with a set of weaknesses. Sunlight can very well kill them, but it is a slow and painful process that vampires rarely succumb one another to. A heavy cloak, or being kept in the shade, can keep a vampire safe from death, but the sheer heat from the sun can weaken a vampire considerably, and direct contact with sunlight will painfully scorch a vampire's skin. Over a number of minutes, their skin will burn as if exposed to flames, and a vampire will die if left in direct sunlight for an extended period of time. If a vampire is removed from sunlight before death, their wounds will eventually heal over time, although it can sometimes take a period of days depending on the severity.
Crosses and holy water do absolutely nothing, but a sharp object through the heart can kill. There have been cases where a vampire has survived a stake through the heart, but it is incredibly rare and often only achievable if the vampire can immediately feed on human blood, as human blood can help accelerate the healing of wounds.
Vampires are often aristocrats and are ruled under a monarchy. They do not pay attention to human laws, rules, or restrictions, but the laws that govern vampires often prevent them from interfering too heavily with human dealings and always promote stealth and secrecy.
Due to vampire immortality, they live long lives that do not require sleep, although sleep can be a refreshing and pleasant experience. They are intelligent, well-versed in many languages and sciences, and rarely lack when it comes to knowledge, book smarts, and fine arts. They partake in many pleasures and can even enjoy the taste of human food and drink, though nothing can hold a candle to the taste of human blood.
Brief Plot SummaryAnastasia Petrova, now 27, has spent a handful of years in vampire captivity. Taken from her village at the age of 19, she has been handed from one cruel master to another, often under the reign of vampire royalty due to the delectable taste and potency of her blood. She is nothing more to them than a prized possession to feed from, an object to use however they please, and an able body to force into slave labor; however, due to the usefulness of her blood, she is frequently made to do tedious chores that mostly involve cooking and cleaning.
Under the command of Ilbert de Lacy, Vampire Lord of the English region of Loidis, she is now to be given away again, like a prized Afghan hound, to the Vampire Lord Caedmon Sirael Rhain. She is nothing more than a gift to be given during a routine visit for unrelated political endeavors. Though the two of them are from completely separate worlds, through Caedmon's kindness and generosity, the broken woman and the reclusive vampire develop feelings for one another. While battling their desires, his lust for her blood as well as a number of other factors that come with such a precarious relationship, the two of them will uncover tender feelings, mysteries, and threats along the way, as well as draw the attention of new and troublesome enemies.
