Bio

I was there and now I'm not.

How many roleplayers does it take to change a lightbulb?
Quit trying to railroad the plot, the room is perfectly fine in the dark.

I'm awesome, thanks. Currently stuck acting as an emergency replacement at a small office forty minutes away, doing my old job, probably until the end of the year. But I get paid more now, and they pay my mileage too, so that's nice.

The house is looking nice. The boyfriend bought extra shelving for all of my books and his forty-something Amiibos with their little displays he imported from Japan and everything. And a new expensive office chair, new sofa cushions, new sofa cover, new lamp. It's seriously frickin fancy in here now.

He's growing a goatee. I've had various beards for half my life, but seeing him with facial hair for the first time is weird. Also strangely sexy.

Sorry. I like talking about myself sometimes. I hope someone posts soon. You're all awesome dudes! In the meantime, I might go play more Styx and try not to die.
Whoo Con! Have fun dude. Buy me something. =D
I did a thing! Now I'm supposed to finish watching Steven Universe. It's an incredible show, even if the general fandom is completely horrible.
He faced his fellows once the Queen finished what she had to say. "I suggest we use my family's mansion as a starting point. It's fairly central to the city as my father is one of the primary Rune Mages of Periphery. There are also several exits and it has a decent level of security, so I don't think it's likely that the Grit have entered much more than the grounds. We could all move to where we need to fairly quickly from there."

“It would be a good place to start” Berry said slowly. “We could use it like a um, base of operations of some kind. And then branch out from there.”

“Do you think we could use it to keep the people we restore safe as well?” She asked Vincent. Her mind then started to think about how many that would be. “At least to begin with before we could move them somewhere safer?”

The silence following Berry's last question seemed to last for days. Moth crossed his arms and shivered though the cavern wasn't cold enough to give him chills. Somewhere safer. Experiments, slavery, torture, just as the crazy conspiracy theorists in his life had feared. And now he was here, surrounded by strangers and standing before the Queen and asked to place his trust with those who didn't deserve it. He finally took a breath and stepped forward.

"Um."

Six faces turned to him. He could feel the glowing eyes of the machines on him as well. Moth gathered his wits and pressed on.

"I think--uh, Vince, right?--Vince makes a good point. We, um, we don't know what else the Grit have out there that--that hasn't been unleashed yet,"

it opened its shimmering golden-pink eyes

"but I want to be somewhere safe before we head to the mines. I think--I think we all do."

He finished speaking, relieved. Before anyone else could step in, though, he felt more words coming before he could entirely process them. He looked the Queen in the eyes.

"They were right, you know. The top shits on everyone below and we're supposed to think of it as a little rainstorm. My parents are dead because of you people."

Silence. Moth realized who he had spoken to and stared at his boots.

"Sorry."
Sorry I dropped the ball on this one. Lots of traveling for work and shit. Anyway, I'm not sure what I'd post except Moth quietly reacting to things. Maybe an offhand comment about how he's not entirely surprised and was always taught to never trust the government. Heh.

Also, Scatterbug! Larvesta might fit more because it turns into a fiery moth, but I think Scatterbug matches his personality. It's a bug type and kinda dorky and cute. The potential's there, but...it's got a terrible name. I mean, it's a bug type with "bug" in the name. Kinda low-effort. On the other hand, Vivillon was in my first main team against the Elite Four, and it can have over a dozen different wing patterns. Moth would love collecting them.
I went on an unexpected business trip last week. They gave me a hotel room, which was nice. It was a damn king suite, which was awesome. It even had a little kitchen with actual dishes and silverware! And there was a shitty pool.

I went swimming in the shitty pool.

I'll have a post up in a day or two! I want to see what Moth is like with a little confidence.
This week was brutal. Three day weekend, yay. Errands to do today, work to complete over the weekend, and eventually I'll make a worthwhile post somewhere in there!

I need to add more thrash metal on my phone. =D
@Mokley
I'm doing fine thanks! Oh wait. Um. Right, anyway.

I honestly thought there would be some huge twist involving the true identity of the Queenie. I figured we wouldn't meet her until much later on and there'd be a big shocking reveal. Like, she'd be a hologram or a robot and/or secretly evil or something. SHE WAS THE MASTERMIND! But no, apparently she's tiny and pretty and gentle and perfect and exactly what she was set up to be. I like her. =D

I think Moth likes her too. He's just too exhausted and shell-shocked to really appreciate her existence yet. I'm sure being in the presence of royalty will hit him eventually.
@Arty Fox
I love you. Platonically. Mostly.

@Tojin
No blackjack or hookers here, sadly. Lately there's a lot of rain. And humidity. Yay. =|
Cool. I'll probably finish my post today or tomorrow (assuming the beach doesn't take up most of my time =P).

I'm not jealous at all.
