Took some political alignment and bias tests today. I think the results were skewed.

You are what you dare, or so some say. Don't be that guy who is forever after known as the one who set his pants on fire.

Okay, so just setting up Almata as contested territory. I can work with that if need be. May be a tad awkward for factions who have no real designs on Almata though (Invaders, those wishing to set up independent states, etc.)

Either way works, really, perhaps both. Whatever is best for everyone.

So, similar to how Germany was carved up at the end of WW2? Forming spheres of influence on the remains of the imperial territories? In that case i'd say a map would be pretty handy to have, even if just a rough approximation.

I think he was referring more to Almata itself, having factions pull out, stay, or come in as their agendas demand and having the response to the sacking set up the relations more solidly.
They exploded mars.

Lemme process that in my head for a bit.

They exploded an entire planet.

Eh, there's been more over the top things in sci-fi I suppose.

The ability to destroy a planet is insignificant next to the power of the Force.

The Arcturan Empire can be as large or small as we want it to be. As to age, we do have the Flagg established current date, which presumably counts zero as the founding of the Imperium
That could work. Maybe the Imperium did it as a way to consolidate power away from some earlier Earth-based nation.
Or what Willy Vereb said. Or both.
So should we make a timeline of the sacking of Almata?
I could help with GM duties as well if needed. The way I see it, we need a GM insofar as accepting apps and managing OOC stuff since NRPs tend to be freeform. We shall endure in Flagg's honor!

Yes, the three planets are all in the Alasaiian system

So the three Imperium planets would be in the same system as your others?

As to the Sacking of Almata, who sees themselves as having potentially been there? I do, for one.
<Snipped quote by Durandal>

For a shared history, what if your faction is the one that has control of the three worlds the Alarethian are fighting to recover?

Maybe not all three, unless of course they're supposed to be in the same system. I could add one more system, I suppose.

Also, [@everyone/Pretenders], who will be the one to have sacked Almata?
Well if you want to be someone who would specifically be hated by the hordes, perhaps your branch had a period of time during which it oversaw the culling forces? Just a thought. The main base for the culling forces was destroyed but they really hate that part of the empire. lol

Still deciding whether I'm a branch or royal sibling. If sibling, I might have it so that Kalzerian was partially in charge of the Culling Force. If branch, then I will have it as such. But what do you think a good name would be for that organization, or at least one the Hordes use?
@wxps350@Raptorman
Seeing as how I'm going to be a semi-official/traitorous extension of the Imperium led by one of the Imperial family members/branches, I could certainly try to work a shared history of some kind.
