(Location: F4 Death Grip Forest)
Carefully stepping around branches, vines, and fallen logs, Reya walked slowly, Rings of Saturn drawn and ready to slice anything that came her way. The Watch was registering several presences in the forest, at varying distances. If she was lucky, she'd run into one of them soon. She was sure that Grimm were lying in wait just beyond the trees, as she could hear the rustling and growls in the distance. The young Huntress-to-Be dared not say a word, not wanting to draw any attention to herself. The primary objective, as Mr. Tower had said, was survival, and the loudest died first.
Measured steps and controlled breathing brought her beneath a tree with a forked branch, however Reya did not notice this until she heard the distinct sound of wood being mutilated above, like it was being cut into and split. Not a comforting sound in the middle of a Grimm-infested forest. Reya got into a battle stance, right foot in front slightly, and left behind, as the Rings floated a short distance from her fingers, held aloft by threads of her maroon Aura. "Calm..." She whispered, and was about to strike as the sound moved above her.
Reya was stopped, however, by an ornate sword nearly skewering her from above, the dragon-adorned weapon sticking sharply in the ground. A ping from her Watch noted that an unpaired student was very nearby, and sure enough, one had practically been delivered to her. The fire-haired Sayuri hung haplessly from the forked branch, her foot caught in it's grasp. It took everything she had to not break out into laughter, but Reya was definitely glad to see a friendly face. In fact, it looked like she'd be seeing that face for quite a long while. She looked up with a smile, "Need a hand, Sayuri?" Reya asked with a little laugh, before sending one of her Rings to cut the branch with an upward swing of her right arm.
The chakram easily sliced the wood, allowing the girl to fall, which Reya could only hope Sayuri would right herself. There was no way she'd be able to catch her and not break anything in the process. Her expertise was grace and finesse, not hardy bone structure. Once she was on the ground, Reya held out the arm with the Watch to her. "Looks like we'll be getting to know each other, partner. If that's cool with you?" It was hardly an option, considering their situation, but she figured courtesy was still paramount in the second impression.
