I saw a rainbow around the sun one time. A guy stopped us and said the world was ending. That was pretty chill.
Reya was busy looking out of the window when Orion finally approached her. She turned to him, a bit surprised, but her eyes shone brightly. "Hey! I was starting to think I scared you away, or something. Glad I was wrong!" The young lady smiled as usual, and offered a light chuckle as well. The airship was beginning to fill up, and it looked like things were about to get under way. As she looked past Orion's shoulder, she caught a glance of the acrobatic boy...winking at her? What a strange time to flirt...a bit perplexed, Reya was about to ask if Orion was nervous at all, before the airship's alarms went off, and they began their ascent.

The light shuddering of the craft as it was held aloft in the air served only to further agitate Reya's nerves, but she held fast to her willpower. It was what she would need to get through this, considering her rather simple weapons and lack of defensive anything, besides her slightly above average Aura. Though, she knew that she was capable, just as much so as any other prospect in the room. It was skill that determined a good Huntress, and she believed she had enough to get her through this. "Still kind of hard to believe this is happening..." Reya muttered to herself, but she was sure the large man next to her could plainly hear her. Thinking aloud was a nervous habit of hers.

It wasn't much longer before Mr. Tower came out and explained everything, and had locked boxes given to each student. The one Reya was handed had her name clearly displayed on the side. It wasn't really heavy, and she left it alone until it unlocked itself at Arrun's command, revealing a small device called a Watch. Can't get much more original... Reya smirked mentally, before removing the Watch and slipping it on her right wrist. The screen flashed, though not as brightly as one other student's, and displayed "Scanning" as it registered Reya's data. Her picture, along with her data, appeared on the display. "Wow...isn't that nifty...:" Reya marveled, noticing a 'Weapon' tab.

She tapped it, and it requested to scan her weapons. The idea of integrating it with the Rings of Saturn seemed like a decent idea, but she feared that her use of Dust might harm the device somehow. So instead, she simply allowed it to register the RIngs, and after a brief scan, it showed the skeleton of the Rings, as well as them unfolding to form Priestess. Her firearm's Auric ammunition was displayed as a white bar alongside the rotating image. It would be handy, considering Reya had just been 'eyeballing' the levels for as long as she could remember. It would be even more useful when she customized it. The sheer amount of possibilities made her giddy!

The acting Headmaster explained the terrain, and the task at hand. Most of the area seemed like suitable battlegrounds, except the caves...she would have to be careful there. Without the space to perform her usual spins and flourishes, she'd have to stick to close combat. With White Dust, it wouldn't be a problem, but it would serve her well to be cautious. Who knew what was down there?

Reya waited for the announcement that they were landing, and looked to Orion with a look of confusion, quickly turning to shock as the room shifted, and began falling from the ship. "Oh my God, they're insane!" Reya screamed, shutting her eyes tight to try and focus, but it just wouldn't come. Her maroon Aura was beginning to flicker, her panic starting to agitate the power that slept within her. Before her feet could leave the ground, however, Reya's eyes flew open, catching the sight of the new opening at the top of the chamber, and hearing the acrobat announce it. As the room rolled, Reya let herself fall, but made sure to catch the lip of the opening, and pulled herself to the outside. The wind was tremendous, so much so, it made her lose her grip and fall, only to catch one of the handles at the side.

A switch sat there, and with no other options, Reya went to press it. "See ya later, Orion!" She yelled, before smacking the switch and being sent flying. "Wooooo!" Reya shouted, stretching her arms out like wings, before rolling in mid-air, and removing her Rings with threads of Aura, morphing them into Priestess. She kept it closed, until just the right moment over an open area, outside the thicket of forest, and unfurled the parasol. She was jerked back by the resistance, before taking a slowed descent to the ground.

Reverting the weapon to Rings, and rolling as she landed, Reya stood up and dusted herself off with a grin. Everyone, even her family, told her that a parasol was a stupid weapon. Well, it just saved her from a broken everything. Checking the Watch, Reya saw a few students in the forest. Deciding that was the best place to go to find a partner, Reya crossed her finger and hoped Orion was inside, as she stepped into the shaded land of green.

I have come to the decision that there is only one way to solve the shipping issue.I have consulted the great Helix...

I think Our Lord Helix was just sparing you

They reached the edge of town, and arrived at their destination. The forest stretched ahead of them, looking as lush and real as could be. A hum was in the air, and Elizea felt as pumped as ever. Wow....I feel great! She thought to herself, the smile that she'd worn the whole time still present.

Next to her, Apollo detailed their plan of attack as he sent a Party invite to her. A little icon appeared before her, with a little group of silhouettes. Elizea hit 'Approve', and Apollo's name was added to her HUD before fading away. The Veni Yan nodded in understanding, equipping her Quarterstaff and setting off to find their marks. Her hands gripped the staff, it's light and old wood not exactly encouraging her. For a little bit, she was having no luck finding any adorable creatures that carried nuts. One, however, decided today was the day for it to go foraging, and was scampering through the brush. It stopped abruptly and sat up to stare at Elizea.

She smiled, cocking her head to the side. "Hey, little guy. Oh, you're so adorable! Are ya out and about, getting food?" She asked in a cutesy, light voice as she slowly approached, keeping the staff behind her back. When she was close enough, Elizea quickly lashed out with the staff, but the rodent saw the staff too early, and ran out of it's path. It struck the ground hard, sending vibrations though Elizea's bones. Her hands were numbed a bit, and the squirrel took this advantage. It let out some weird call, and another squirrel flew down from one of the trees above. Landing with a thud on her head, it scratched at Elizea, making her squeal in pain. Her HP bar dropped a bit, noting the small damage the newcomer was doing.

"Get off me, ya rat!" She yelled, before shaking it off her head, and pinning it to the dirt with the staff. With a quick jab of the weapon, the squirrel disappeared into smoke, leaving behind 2 Nuts. The one who originally called for backup now charged at Elizea pouncing on her leg and delivering a sharp bite. "Y'oww!" Another squeal issued from the young woman's lips, causing her to sharply kick the creature off, and bring the staff down on it hard before it could regain balance. She delivered another swift attack, dropping 1 Nut. Gathering her spoils, the counter increased.

Nuts Gathered: 5/10

"Stupid things...can't believe I thought they were cute..." Elizea muttered, too enthralled in battle to notice Apollo's cannon fire. Though there was a bit of ringing in her ears...This realism is still so shocking... Elizea marveled, deciding to place the staff on her back and work with range to fight the remaining squirrels.
To any new comers who asked if they were ready, Reya would only give a determined nod. She was in the last bits of her exercise, and the distraction was wearing off. It was hitting her even harder now, that she was going into battle with an incomplete weapon. One accident, and she'd be done. Sent back home to the disapproving faces and horrible remarks. The fire in her heart was lit, and it was time to take the test by the horns.

The announcement came on as a large Airship, not too unlike the one they arrived in yesterday, took it's place at the docks. Reya looked to see Orion at the end of the pier already, a little nagging sadness prodding at her. Why didn't he come say 'hi'? Did she really leave a lasting mark on him? She sighed, simply checking to see if everything was on her person. Ammo, weapons, satchel with phone, Dust...yep, all there. The Airship looked daunting now, but Reya was ready to face it. She was a Descarta, after all. The boy from yesterday, the rather acrobatic and silly one, raced and cartwheeled onto the craft as quick as he could. What a fun guy! Reya thought to herself, happily making her way into the craft not too far behind him.

Inside, Reya took a spot near the wall, adjusting her pony-tail, and waiting for the other students to file in. There was an entire population of butterflies flitting about in her stomach, and it'd be a relief to get the day going.
Put up the pwetty collab between Nyx and I :D

Yay progress~
As the dancing flames mesmerized and distracted Elayna, allowing her numbing mind a small reprieve, it hardly registered that the fierce Nord woman had sat down besider her and thrusted a drink towards her. The Breton looked at Thyra, jade eyes dazed for a moment, before shaking the haze from her head, only to take a drink of the stinging liquid to fill it with more. She held the bottle out to Thyra, who took another mouthful as soon as it was received. "It seems quite a few of us deal with stress similarly." Elayna said with a sad, short laugh. Poultices stained her new clothes, showing a night of experimentation, most ending in failure and waste. The drink was definitely called for.

A sharp chuckle echoed from within the bottle, passing through the Nord's exposed teeth and rolling over her fingers like syrup. “Any snow-back can drink when they're distressed", she sniffed . The woman's assumption bore truth, there were many people rating the recent events on the same scale as the Oblivion Crisis, and rightfully so. But to suggest that they were alike in severity - as the drinks were in potency - was laughable.

"Those of us who can handle rough and tough, we have real reasons for wanting to forget." As she planted the bottle between them, she gave her drinking companion a quick once over. They weren't as noticeable before, but up close, and in the dark of night, her green eyes took on a radiant glow. Blink by careful blink, Thyra removed the haze that had suddenly fogged up her vision. She concentrated on pulling the proper words out from beneath the whimsical ones, talking slow to avoid uttering a slur. "You ain't from the group I fought with. If you were, you'd know real stress," she stated matter-of-factly.

Her eyes appeared static and unfixed, but behind them, images flew by, of hoardes moving across the hills, and countless more in the caverns, where the golden one now lay. A short grunt leapt from the ache in her chest. "The undead? Puppies with no teeth compared to Draugr."

Elayna threw a sharp glance the Nord's way, before turning and speaking to the fire. "My 'stress' isn't from that rat in the Mausoleum. It was wretched, those poor souls fused with Dwemer metal. But that pales in comparison to my other worries." She ran a hand over her eyes, as if she could wipe the fire, and all the things she'd seen, away like blood on a dress. Just like that, however, she may get the surface grime off, but the stains would always be there. Thyra was curious now, it started to make sense why no one ever spoke of what happened on that forbidden isle, but what could be worse than that? "I still have an entire family to account for. A big one, too. If they weren't in danger, I'd be long gone. But it's starting to look like I could accomplish something here. Maybe." The Breton crossed her arms, just to emulate the embrace of those she held dear.

"I saw the body of a man who was my second father, and the Imperial City reduced to corpses and ash. I'm surprised I haven't taken a fatal dose of one of my own creations yet." She paused, looking for words that were trying to slip away into the alcohol. "One difference between you and I, Thyra, is that I wasn't meant for the path of the warrior. Death is not one I know well." Elayna sighed, ...but we're getting increasingly familiar with one another. My point is, there's no longer a use in claiming one ordeal is worse than another. It's all just part of the travesty that is the world at the moment. Each of us will get our share, some earlier than others."

"Aye, earlier," the Nord repeated slowly, her voice made brittle by the opened pool of memories, and the fresh pull of rum. She pushed back the blue scarf that swaddled her thoughts, combing calloused fingers through the soft, straw meadow, as if it helped ease them. It never did. "Maybe after all this is finished, you'll understand."

Glasses shattered in the background, one by one, to the uproarious encouragement of drunken laughter. Shortly after, a man stumbled outside to purge his meal in the bushes behind them. Thyra swore at him loudly. "Look at the way they romp around, no better than beasts! And 'e ain't got a damn burden to drink to." She shook her axe at him until he fled. A second longer, and she'd have thrown it. "They might've thanked their devil gods, made you feel like a hero, but for most of them, that's all they'll do. Showing gratitude is all they'll do."

She had to take a therapeutic nip to calm her spirits, and pointed to Elayna with the bottle in hand. "You, an alchemist, took up arms for your family," she laughed. "Of all the sorts! I wasn't at the Imperial's city when the elves struck," her throat cleared itself to make room for another gulp. "And when I see how lime that orc in your company is, a part of me doesn't wanna know what happened on the isle. You were, not them, but they get to carry on as such." Her hand gestured from the ruckus inside, to the Breton girl, and then the fire before them. "There are people we left on that island who should be here."

The young Breton couldn't help but laugh as the intoxicated woman chased one of the more inebriated patrons with her ax, and with good reason. Thyra was right, the populace seemed more focused on praising those that take action rather than taking action themselves. In honesty, Elayna was in that very boat not too long ago. What had happened to her plans to live out her days as some old medicine woman in the swamp lands of Leyawiin, making sure to give praises to the Nine and the Heroes? Those thoughts seemed like distant figments now, and the gratitude from the people just felt empty.

"It's sad, really. If we all just pushed, charged, did something, the Dwemer would have a force to reckon with on their hands. But here we all are, placing the few we deem 'capable' on a pedastal and waiting for them to make all of the problems disappear." Elayna shook her head, propping up her chin with her right hand. "I was taught to kill animals for reagents, not some long-dead elves with outrageous weapons. My fighting was more of a 'last hoorah' effort. Only after our recent excursion am I really beginning to find that, maybe there is something worth saving. Maybe there are a few Ferrises left."

She nodded at Thyra's closing remark. "How could they expect such things of us? We lost people, yet we're just going to be pushed off to the slaughter again. It's not like we can go forever." Elayna gazed into the fire along with the Nord warrioress. Just how long were they going to survive?
Wonderlocke: Fit For A Queen, Part 2: A Lady's Best Friend

On the short path to Aquacorde, Felicity wondered if she really was willing to take on a mission from some stranger she had never met. He was a Professor, so he wasn't just an average pleb, but a lady like herself should never just give in so easily. However, it was a wondrous opportunity, one that she wasn't all that keen to give up. The cream-colored stones of Aquacorde Town came into view, and shortly after she entered, Felicity was called over to a table by Calem. Two new kids were there, a short boy with ginger hair like a helmet, and a rather large one with a Vanillite t-shirt and very short black hair. And just when I thought those two were ridiculous enough... Felicity mentally groaned while looking at Calem and Shauna, both looking less than thrilled.

Felicity did her usual strut over, taking a seat at the table. "Hey Trevor, Tierno...this is Felicity. No, wait, excuse me, Lady Felicity..." Calem said, making air-quotes around 'Lady'. A heated glance from the young woman shut him up quite fast. The large one, Tierno, waved. "Hey, I'm Tierno! Pleased to meet you! My dream is to assemble the greatest Pokemon dance team ever!" He said with unbridled enthusiasm. A smirk etched itself onto Felicity's face. Then a chuckle bubbled up in her throat...before devolving into hysterical laughter. "You? A...d-dancer? That's...bahahahaha!" She nearly fell out of her seat, and Tierno frowned pretty deeply. Even shedding a tear. Trevor looked mortified, simply looking down at the ground and muttering, "I'm Trevor..."

Felicity stopped mid-insulting laugh. She put a hand to her ear, "What was that, you pasty shut-in?" She asked, the insult sounding like a normal remark thanks to her faux superiority. Trevor just started to cry. No sad words, no frowns, just tears. Shauna looked to Felicity. "So, uh...nicknames are fun! What should we call you, Felicity? Lady F? F-kins? Freaking Jerk?..." Shauna mumbled the last part to Calem, causing him to smirk and roll his eyes.

"You shall refer to me as your Queen. That shall serve as your childish "nickname". No other will do." Felicity stated matter-of-factly. Calem facetabled, Shauna buried her face in her hands, and Tierno just shook his head before placing a case on the table. Inside were three Poke-Balls. "For the love of God, take one, and this letter, and go." He said angrily, handing her a letter. Felicity smiled, clapping her hands together. She grabbed the middle one, and released the monster inside...

"Am I finally getting adopted? Oh my God, finally! I-" The Fennekin turned abruptly to see the no-nonsense girl looking down at him. "You. Congratulations. You shall serve as my Court Wizard in the council I shall assemble on this journey. Are we clear?" Felicity instructed, not allowing room for debate. "That gypsy wasn't lying, I am cursed..." The newly deemed Court Wizard whimpered. "What was that, insolent fool?!" She yelled, picking him up by his scruff. "N-nothing, ma'am!" He squealed back. "Excellent! Let's be off then!" Her mood instantly changed, now cuddling the Fennekin. "Why?..." Wizard mumbled.

Before leaving, Shauna stopped Felicity, a Chespin in her arms. "Wait, Fel-...my Queen...I want you to be my first battle!" At the mention of the battle, the Grass-type in the girl's embrace went stiff, shaking his head minutely at Wizard. "Don't do it, man...we're old poker buddies, remember? All those drinks we shared?" He said shakily, before being placed on the ground. Wizard looked up at his new Trainer, whose smile seemed to be made of razor-sharp daggers. "Go on, my sweet...show no mercy." She said with a fierce, evil tone. The Fennekin was on the stones now, before looking to the Chespin. "I'm sorry...I'm so sorry..." Wizard muttered, before shooting burning bits of fire from its mouth, setting the other starter ablaze, "WHY?! OH, FOR THE LOVE OF ARCEUS, WHY?!" was all it could say before fainting. "Li'l Chespin? Li'l Chespin! Wake up!" Shauna cried, shaking the unconscious Pokemon.

"And the rest shall fall just as easily. Come now, my Wizard, off to see Mother again." Felicity picked up the Fox Pokemon, who had small tears in his eyes, as he looked to the body of his once friend. It would be a long journey...

Nyx said something to me about Thyra and Elayna noticing each other in the tavern, feeling fly like G6s. But I can start scrounging a post together.
