"Alright!" Jube called back, deciding her decision was a good one.

When Lupo sat down staring up at Jube, he immediately thought it was food Lupo was after. Jube tore off a few pieces of the turkey from his food, and held it out to Lupo curiously. He smiled gently at the pup as he watched him curiously.

Milo sat after he finished eating, he debated a bit before rolling up his dark cape, and using it as a pillow while he rested on his back.
Jube sat watching the two. He was a bit more relieved once she had returned. He could see the connection spell had worked just by the physical movements between Kes and Lupo. He just hoped it had worked for the better. "I hope Kestrel likes the spell... I hope I didn't mess her up..." Jube said to Milo.

Milo watched them, "I don't think you messed anything up. I think it'll be ok."
Jube watched her go. He wanted to assist her but, he knew Kes and her independence.

He helped Milo prepare dinner as he waited for Kestrel to return. Stroking Lupo gently, he sat down and got comfortable.
Jube listened to her as he held her hands. "Well... I guess if you don't feel nauseous or in pain thats good. I am hoping it worked... do you feel like Lupo and you can communicate? You don't have to try yet, but when you are ready."

Milo picked off some of the cooked meat and tossed Lupo some pieces before preparing the rest for the others.
Milo began to pet Lupo gently as the pup approached his side. He continued his cooking and sat content with Lupo.

Jube reached out and grabbed Kestrel's hand. "It's alright, I'm here. How do you feel?"
Hey Bryn! If you can do up a character sheet that would be great! :)
Jube managed to grab up Kestrel in his arms, Lupo in her arms. He shifted himself into his dragon form momentarily, and flew into the cave with the two. Milo was working on dinner when Jube showed up. A single wild turkey was on the spit cooking. "You're back finally. Are Lupo and Kestrel ok?"

Jube nodded, and let her lie down on her self-made cot. "She and Lupo were knocked unconscious as part of the ritual, but they'll be fine. They just need a little rest." Jube assured him, sitting down next to them. Milo simply nodded and continued to rotate the turkey on the spit.
By the time nightfall was upon them, Jube came back to the cave, assisting Kestrel and Lupo to their spot for the ritual. There were torches set up around their ritual area, making it easier for them to see. No one was within a close radius, so they were completely alone in the woods. "Alright, I'm just going to get you and Lupo to sit in the circle together. It doesn't matter how you sit, just as long as you both are there." Jube explained.

Jube held a large tree branch that he had smoothed out some in both of his hands, resting the base of it on the dirt below. He closed his eyes and concentrated hard, then began to whisper things that weren't very coherent. It seemed like ramblings rather than actual speech. Next the wind began to pick up around them, but oddly it seemed to completely miss Lupo and Kestrel despite the harsh gusts picking up. Vines poked up through the ground just outside of the circle, and it became clear, everything stayed just outside the circle, and they were in their own protective barrier.

His hands grasped the staff tighter, and he lifted it straight up before him, his eyes opened as he continued to speak the strange incoherent language of magic he had learnt almost effortlessly. With a loud snap, the fire on all four torches surrounding them jumped, and began to swirl around the circle. Jube continued to chant as three elements surrounded Lupo and Kestrel, the sky opened up to release a fourth element, and the rain poured down on them from above. Then, lightening pierced the protective barrier, being the last element to join in.

Though the lightening struck, it was entirely painless. It brought the wish bone pieces together, connecting them like they once were before Jube had seperated them. Lupo and Kestrel were both illuminated, and for the time the lightening was hitting them, they felt each others thoughts, feelings, and emotions. They felt more like one being rather than two. The overwhelming sensation was enough to knock the two out unconscious, and the elements departed, leaving the circle open, and the ritual finished.
Jube dug in his pack for one he had been saving. Jube kept a lot of random things on him at all times it seemed. He had his reasons, but often other people had no idea what those reasons were. Pulling one out he pulled it in half, handing her the smaller part for Lupo. "Here, put this one on him, and you take the bigger half. It's suiting since he's smaller than you are." Jube commented as he stood up, "I'm going to get that circle ready, it'll be nightfall soon, so I want to be sure I can see what I'm doing."

Milo sat where he was, "I can work on dinner if you want?"

Jube nodded, "That would be good."

Milo smiled and shifted into a crow form before finally flying out of the cave in search of dinner. Jube watched him go before looking to Kestral, "I'll be back shortly, you just sit with Lupo for now. If you want to read up on the ritual, it's all in that scroll next to your bag." With that, Jube headed out of the cave.
Jube looked at Kestral for a moment, "I'll have to make a circle of herbs around you and Lupo, perferably outside, under the moon. From there I'll have to summon the elements and use them to bind you two. You'll both have to wear one half of a broken wish bone around your necks... do you have any string?"
