Jube looked at her upside down face, and smiled a little bit. She meant it, and he felt it. Kestral would truly always be there for him. "I don't know, I was thinking of going through some more of my fathers books. He has a book about more monsters, such as Siren's, The Kraken, and even a Dragon Clan. I believe they were sorcerers who turned into dragons." Jube enjoyed his books very much. He read most of the time.
Jube's reading increased when he discovered his abilities. Desperately he tried to figure out what he was, but all he really knew was that he was adopted by his parents, he wasn't their blood. There was no real way of knowing what he was, and his parents never told him where he had come from. His being adopted was a big reason people picked on him. He wasn't someone who belonged in the village in so many people's eyes.
Kestral was someone Jube often read to, or at least outlined the just of his books. He wondered why she listened to his crazy stories, but then again, it wasn't as though they were all make believe. Some of the things were questionable though.
