~ Those Who Lie Behind Masks ~ [A Medieval Fantasy Survival]

It's a night that was supposed to be filled with mystery and enchantment. It was known as the Golden Times Masquerade Ball. It was held once every five years as a warm reminder for both the nobility and the peasants that the only thing that made them different was their wealth. It was a reminder that everyone was valuable and cherished in this kingdom. However, only a few select peasants were chosen to attend the ball, intended to represent their villages. Most of the attendants were young in age ranging usually from around 18 to 25. The reason for this was because many, both noble and peasant, hoped for their children to find a suitor at this ball that offered plenty of opportunities.

This peaceful gathering took an unexpected twist this year though. Once the ball was in full swing, something went horribly wrong. A vengeful spirit who had been lurking in the shadows for far too long opens a portal to what some may call the spirit world. This means that both humans and the supernatural are now crossing into each others worlds for the first time in hundreds of years. From the portal comes creatures commonly referred to as hellhounds who quickly target the ball goers and even succeed in killing a good number.

Running for their lives, our characters are able to survive but end up being sucked through the portal into this spirit world. There it is always night and filled with spirits and creatures who are both good and bad. Though there seems to be an overwhelming amount of bad. Now our characters are stuck together in an effort to find a way back to their world, be them noble, peasant, thief, or knight they will all have to work together to survive this nightmare.

So there's the plot! I'm super excited about this role-play and I'm looking for a partner who is ready to build up this world with me!

I'm looking for maybe 1-2 people. I really want to make this role-play a multiple character role-play rather than just a basic two character one. It would be great if my partner enjoyed roleplaying more than one character but I'm also open to making it more of a small group rp than a 1x1. That being said, I am expecting my partner to be able to role-play either both genders or males. I tend to lean towards rping females but with this kind of plot I can rp males as well!

I'm looking for someone who is more of a High casual rper. I can likely guarantee at least 3-4 paragraphs on average. I can likely do more if I have multiple characters though.

The genre is fairly clear though I always love a hint of romance in my plots! Of course with multiple characters we don't have to have strict pairings and things can develop in a more 'natural' way in my opinion. Also, I love including drama soooo I might kill off a character... or two as the rp goes along. >;)

Also, please be 18+! The role-play will likely include swearing, gore and other mature themes! However during sexual themes, I would prefer to fade to black rather then role-play it out but I may be convinced otherwise if my partner wants to role-play that.

Partner Search [Low-High Casual, MxF, Multi Characters]

Hello! So I currently came up with an idea I'd really like to try out. I'm looking for someone who is ok with posting at least once a day, maybe more depending if I have the time, and can role play multiple characters. Things you must know about me include the following :

- I don't talk much in OoC usually but that's because I find it hard to start up conversations once we already start roleplaying. If you want to talk, go ahead. I'm always going to respond :) I also wouldn't mind discussing plots or anything really.
- As far as limits go, my only one is that we fade to black instead of roleplaying out those scenes. But gore, violence, and cursing have no limits. Alert me to any limits you have, I don't want to accidently offend you!
- I tend to lean towards roleplaying females. However, since it is a multiple character role play, I will be roleplaying a few guys for sure. But it is likely that my female characters will out number them slightly.

And that's about all I can think of right now. If you have any questions feel free to ask.

The central themes of the role play are going to be action, drama, romance, crime, and maybe a little bit of polititcs. The plot is centered around a slightly futuristic setting in the U.S.. The government has pretty much failed completely due to corrupt politicans and the growing amount of crimes being committed. It just finally lost control of it's citizens but the government still tries to fake that the power still lies with them and are continually searching for ways of gaining some power back.

A big aspect of society now focuses on street fighting. It is only because a wealthy man invested in it and grew the industry at an incredibly fast pace. Fighting has now become one of the quickest ways to wealth or death, depending on where you stand. It is the main industry that the government is trying to get ahold of.

So our characters can range from politicians, street fighters, managers, civilians, criminals, and so on. PM me to discuss and establish the role play :)

1x1 Roleplays [Casual, MxF]

Hi. So I'm just looking to start up maybe one or two role plays. Not a lot since I simply don't have that much time right now. Before I get into my ideas, here's what you need to know:

-I prefer to role play females. Not that I can't roleplay a guy. I also don't mind having more than one character. In fact, I enjoy having multiple characters because I find it more interesting.
- I'll post at least once a day. Maybe more with thanksgiving break coming up soon.
- I almost have no limits. I don't mind going a bit further on the romance but at some point I'd rather just fade to black. So other then that, I'm good. Alert me to any limits you have on romance, violence, and swearing.
- PM me if you are interested.

So now on to the ideas :

- Frankenstein's Blood : Dr. Frankenstein has caused plenty of problems but now comes a whole new challenge. He has created a daughter for his two creations, whom he is determined to try and keep their exsistence as little known as possible. However, their daughter is much more of a rebelious spirit than they would have liked. Your character may be whomever you like for this plot. A regular farm boy, guard, son of the mayor. It's up to you.

- Lab Rats : This plot isn't every unique. I just enjoy participating in these sorts of plots. So teens are either raised or captured in a lab of mad scientist. They have been constantly experiemented on and have began to develop abnormalities that make them considered to be 'superhumans'. It will be mainly about our characters on the run and trying to find their place in society.

- The Bet of A Lifetime: This takes place during the edwardian era. In the home of London, there are four major families, each battling to secure wealth and fame. Wanting to slim down the competition, the Wells family makes a bet with the other three. The first family whose childern are able to win at least two hearts of the Wells' Family heirs, will also win the partnership of the Wells family. The bet is tempting and each family sets out to train two childern of their own to win two childern of their own. Meanwhile a servant of the Wells family decides to take a try at it as well. (Who plays what family can be settled once the plot is choosen. I, however, do plan to play the servant. It will require quite a few characters.)

Assembling the Perfect Team [Partner Search w/ Plot]

Hello! I have recently came up with a slightly detailed, slightly in the works plot idea. I'm looking to roleplay with either one or two people. (Together though and not in separate threads/PMs) So before I continue on to the plot, let me first address a few things.

About Me

-I'm usually a high casual role player when I'm truly invested in the plot. As I plan to be with this one. However, I also hope to improve through this roleplay and gradually grow into a low advanced role player.
- I generally role play only female characters. It's not because I can't roleplay a male character but rather, I tend to get bored easily when roleplaying a male. However, since we will all be having multiple characters, I plan to roleplay at least one guy.
-I prefer to roleplay over PMs. I usually check it more often than threads.
-I intend for this plot to revolve around story, action, and character development. I also encourage romance as long as it doesn't become the center of the roleplay.
- I have very few limits. Gore and violence don't really affect me but I would prefer to fade to black on the more mature romance scenes. No smut please. ;3
- Right now, I am pretty busy. I may manage at least a post every day or maybe one every other day. It really varies depending on my work load. Hopefully by the end of this year, things will slow down so I become more active.

What I

So after giving you detail about me, I'm looking for someone who is around the same.
-High Casual to Low Advance
- Up for Roleplaying multiple characters
- Maybe leans towards roleplaying males? (This one isn't that big of a deal though)
- Open to communication rather than just simply roleplaying and never speaking.

So this should sum up everything. Now on to the plot!

A CIA agent goes rouge after learning about all the corruptions within not only the agency but in the overall government. S/He is uninterested in getting involved in such wrong doings and is eventually moved enough to oppose the system after both s/he and his/her close loved ones are targeted. Cutting off their ties with everyone, the rouge agent gets started on trying to find a way to fix the corrupted people and all the damage they have done. However, s/he soon realizes he can't do it alone.

S/he then sets out to form the 'perfect team' to address and handle these problems. Everyone is talented in one thing or another, such as hacking, spying, scouting, fighting, shooting, ect. They become an underground system that is trying to avoid the government as well as fix it. Throughout the roleplay there be various missions, from some as simply as fixing who becomes mayor of a small town to as big as taking on other agencies fighting for the opposing force, corrupted congressmen, and so on.

I haven't really worked out exactly what missions will come first or how this will work exactly but I'm hoping to discusses this with who ever is interested. :)

First off, I want to say hi everybody I'm back and looking to roleplay! I kinda left for a while since my life got a little hectic but it's settle down now so I shouldn't take off like that again. If you had a roleplay with me and would like to continue it, please say so otherwise I will believe the roleplay to be dropped. Other then that, I shall get into the plot(s).

1. Two college students, who met each other during their first year of school there, are now best friends. They're close and share nearly everything with each other. However, one of them has developed a crush on the other and doesn't quite know what to do since their crush is interested in someone else. Not an elaborate plot so we can twist it around however you want to. :3

2. Another medieval-ish time-zone role play. The Lost City. It's claimed to be haunted and those that dare to enter the dark and shady mist that surrounds the city. The origin story of said city is said to start with a psychotic doctor. He tortured and experiment on his patients... Being the only doctor in town, the town's population began to decrease with time soon becoming empty and full of prisoners that the mad doctor kept. One day, the doctor also vanished... some say he was killed... Others say he just simply grew old. And then there are the rumors that he is still living... That he found the solution to death but it can only be found in the utter most madness. After that, it was said that the ghosts of the tortured souls cursed the place and still wander, looking aimlessly for revenge. Travelers, passerbys, anyone.... They all seemed to met a gruesome fate if they dare to travel through the town. Which is why it is now off limits to everyone.My girl is well aware of this and wants nothing to do with the town but when she happens to anger a nobleman, she is taken by his personal guards and practically thrown into the cursed town. On arrival she is nearly killed by an angry soul but happens to be saved by your guy. Now, your guy isn't quite dead or alive. Like a vampire but without all the side affects. He's one of the people that was tortured long ago by the mad doctor. Actually, he was the doctor's first and last victim.. He was the doctor's son. It seems that the doctor did find the cure to death and the guy is proof of that. But that also means that the mad doctor still wanders around the town... Searching for new victims...Your guy has been able to avoid him for a very long time now... The two setting up a strong divide of the town. My girl was just lucky to have ran into him instead of the doctor. Now she has a chance of survival. But now there's the issue of actually getting out of the town.Will they be able to put an end to the doctor for good or will they even be able to make it out?

3. I'm a major Walking Dead fan and I'd be up for doing a roleplay where we each have multiple survivors and just roleplay it out.

4. Also up for a Supernatural Or Fairytail based roleplay.

Scarlet glanced over at Jarrod as he began the introductions of them all. Her look was almost a warning to watch what he said about her but she didn't seem to mind too much. After all, it was pretty accurate. It was Angelo who once again stirred up her temper. "Don't say yet as if something is going to change in the future." she said venomously.

However, at his proclamation, Scarlett turned her gaze to rest on her glass. She let a sigh, a defeated sigh as if even she couldn't argue with his words. Hesitating, she just barely lifted the glass. "Why the hell not." she said with a shrug. "Might as well all die together than alone. Therefore, you'll have my assistance as well.... Or at least until I can't stand him any more." she said gesturing to Angelo with a smirk. It seemed she was half joking and half serious when saying that.

Even Scarlett wasn't about to turn down a free meal. While she was stubborn, she had her limits. Besides, she figure she might be able to get some useful information out of these people. With her temper boiling down, she walked over and took a seat at the fair end of the table they were at, still managing to try and put some distance between her and the others.

She looked over at Jarrod, slightly curious by his words. "Never met him. Heck, the thing never even destroyed my home. Of course, I plan to make sure that won't happen." she said with certainty. Setting her bag on the table she shuffled through it until she pulled out the food she had gotten from before. "So, what was he like? Think we all can kill him?"

Well there was a big improvement. She grouping them altogether now rather than just asking if she alone could kill yggdrasil. As usual, her previous angers were boiling down to nothing and for the first time since she ran into everyone, she seemed rather relaxed and calm.

Her eyes flickered over to Ananeas for a moment. She gave a curt nod of acknowledgement to the newcomer but didn't bother to say any welcoming or greeting.
