AfterimageChihiro's Afterimage is reminiscent of a black-furred wolf, emitting a caring if not a little dark aura, starkly contrasting her main "don't-give-a-shit" demeanor. The base creature's rather fluffy coat covers most of their arms, legs, and bleeds into their torso as well. The hands and feet of the form are more akin to paws. The form retains Chihiro's usual height, if not a bit shorter, at about 5 feet and 2 inches. The form's ears and tail also convey their emotions better than whatever expression is displayed, which can be annoying when she can't hide it.

- Advanced First-Aid - Chihiro has learned a little more than your basic first aid, especially when having two very reckless older sisters with no concerns for their health growing up.

Appearance
Chihiro has a bit of a slighter, more androgynous build than others she knows, and is rather confident in herself, standing at about 5 feet and 4 inches. Their usual outfit consists of solid or patterned tank tops with a light sweater over top of it, completing the look with jeans of various stages of wear and tear. Their hair is cut with a bit of a choppy and wilder style, a streak of dark purple dyed into it toward the front. Hiro's eyes are more of a grey, with a gaze that seems like it could barely pierce a piece of cardstock.
Personality
Chihiro effortlessly radiates a seemingly uncaring and "don't-give-a-shit" type of attitude. With a perpetual air of nonchalance, Chihiro navigates the bustling campus halls as if she's immune to the trivialities that consume their peers. She doesn't really seem to care at all about what other people think of them or their choices. Chihiro's stoic exterior, however, conceals a depth of loyalty and commitment that defines her relationships.
Beneath their indifferent facade, Chihiro transforms into a ride-or-die bitch for those lucky enough to earn her trust. In the face of adversity, she stands tall as an unwavering pillar of support. Known for her sharp wit and fearless demeanor, Chihiro doesn't hesitate to fiercely defend those she calls friends, and her loyalty extends beyond words to tangible actions. Whether it's a midnight crisis or a spontaneous adventure, Chihiro is the dependable ally who surprises everyone with her capacity for empathy and sacrifice. As her friends soon discover, her seemingly aloof exterior is a protective shield, concealing a heart that beats with unyielding loyalty and genuine care for those she holds dear.
Background
Chihiro was raised mainly by her father, Atahiko, an avid collector of various intricacies and antiquities, some of modern conformity and historical correlation. Hiro's father never felt the need to push them to any particular path in life, but their mother, Saki, had slightly different plans. Like the two older siblings before Hiro, their mother pushed the need to study early Japanese poetry, and writing, among other things into Hiro's workload.
Working to contrast Hiro's mother, Atahiko allowed her to learn what she wanted in addition to school, to teach her the basics of firearms with the help of a family friend, allowing her freedom to enjoy learning. He wanted his daughter to thrive, he wanted his children to be happy. His collection kept growing as the years went by, one of his most prized acquisitions was an ornate revolver, handcrafted as a piece of art.
It was only fired once. A bullet clear through the skull.
No one understood why, Hiro was 17 at the time. Their father had committed suicide.
The mother sold some of the collection, keeping what was most dear to her late husband, including the revolver that took his life. Hiro wasn't sure what to do. Their grades dropped, and they started to hide themselves...
Chihiro started to change. Covering up her tears, holding it in. She became indifferent, desensitized almost, but that was only on the outside. She forced themself to be strong, beating themselves up for their father's death...
Years pass again, the heartache doesn't hurt as much as it did originally, going to community college instead of a four-year university. This was their choice. She knew Father would have supported it. Gossip spreads faster than bullets in a warzone in high school, and so it does with certain groups within the college as well it seemed... Those she made connections with seemed distant and distracted, drawn away by what others thought, something she had thrown to the wayside long ago. Those she got to know well were those she started to show her true colors to... even though her colder outside shell, barely interacting with anyone other than a select few people, consisting of two other students, had earned them a lesser-known nickname, the Lone Wolf.
She never understood it... how different the two faces she wore were. One she wasn't even sure fit her anymore... The more kind and compassionate side of her that she kept hidden away.
Why had she been playing her cards this way?
She wasn't sure herself.
