Then let's make it fast.
Dash for it on my count?
<Snipped quote by Efficacy>
Then let's make it fast.
<Snipped quote by Mammalia>
Yes, and at that point, reattaching the cones to focus the light becomes fair game. Once they reach the point where the current light level won't stop them, the focused light could at least stun them briefly and allow us to gain a bit of distance.
<Snipped quote by Efficacy>
Hmm... Do you think they look like they can climb a tree?
<Snipped quote by Efficacy>
Well, I know that I can, but can you outrun the average quadrupedal? Because if so, then yes, I am certainly fine with the plan simply being to run.
<Snipped quote by Efficacy>
Better time to plan than any. Once they begin to ignore this light, what shall we do about them?
<Snipped quote by Mammalia>
*Removes mine as well, and heads toward them*
<Snipped quote by Heroic>
Very much so. He determined the safest material to use out of what we have here and taught us to make it ourselves. Now, we ourselves will be shining the light from afar, but when you near the pearl they will come after you anyway. The torch is your weapon, but use it only as defence.
<Snipped quote by Efficacy>
Makes sense enough to me. It's probably worth a shot, at the very least.
<Snipped quote by Efficacy>
I mean, maybe. I've seen animals afraid of light before. But, Light Bringers, they're called? If I understand right, light is one of the things that their survival depends on most.
<Snipped quote by Heroic>
That's a good way to look at it. I hope you get to see them again soon.
<Snipped quote by Efficacy>
Maybe it's one of those things you have to have the "naturally really good looking" gene to understand =P
