I can, I think. We've not been able to get too much training, yet. But I can run a transformation if I have it. *Takes a small disc out of my pocket and places it on the ground; it unfolds into a circular platform just wide enough for me to stand on*

Heh, I've got no idea. Scribes do so much research on this; they're always coming up with new and confusing ways to do things. Maybe it would be best to set up one strong portal at the very beginning and defend it.
