Character's Real Name: James ‘Jimmy’ Greenaway.

Age: Twenty-nine.
Mutant Powers: Technopathy: The ability to control electrically powered objects/systems. As his most developed power, this is his strongest. James is able to control multiple devices within quite a large area or to focus on a single object and manipulate it over a greater distance, as long as he is aware of the object’s existence and location. For example, he has been able to power rooms of server banks to assist in intelligence based espionage, or in one instance, to manipulate the radio in a car sitting seven blocks away as a distraction during infiltration operations.
Electrokinesis: A secondary power, James has limited elecktrokenisis, as an offshoot of his technopathy. He is able to manipulate electricity although there must be a source of power nearby for him to draw it from, as he is unable to create electricity itself, only bend it to his will. Primarily he makes use of the power during combat, combining it with his hand-to-hand abilities to increase his effectiveness.
Description: James is tall and thin, standing at well over six feet and having been blessed with a high metabolism pretty much his entire life. He has always maintained a healthy lifestyle and this is shown in his athlete’s body. He inherited his mother’s dark hair and emerald eyes and his father’s paler complexion and strong features, ending up a pleasing, handsome enough mixture of Italian and English blood. He keeps his hair a medium length and neatly combed, with a trimmed, neatly kept beard on his face.
Personality: James can be a puzzle to try and figure out. He can be a complex maze of emotions and faces, depending on the situation at hand, the company he is with, whether or not he’s had enough whiskey and a myriad of other factors. Primarily though he is found to be the rational, patient one in a group, often taking on a more fatherly role to those around him. Although, rile him up and James can become a nasty, ruthless son-of-a-bitch; his mother’s temper, he claims.
Background: James Greenaway didn’t suffer some traumatic childhood adversity or a bad home, he never had to worry about living comfortably or where the next meal was coming from. Quite the opposite in fact. Born to a British Army Intelligence Officer and an Italian Diplomat, James lived a comfortable, carefree life. Even once his power became known to his family, he was not shunned or abandoned. James was lucky enough to have parents who were open minded and had both had dealings with mutant individuals and groups through their working lives, so him being a mutant himself was just natural in their eyes.
James did well in school, went on to University and graduated with a degree in performing arts before he set off on his own adventure into the wide world. His travels took him from England to Australia, Japan to Madagascar and all places in between, until he found himself settled in New York, Manhattan to be precise. Within a month of living in the Big Apple, James had found steady work on stage and had befriended many, human and mutant alike, having always been lucky enough to land on his feet as it were. He was living in Manhattan during the Cure marches and participated in many himself, seeing his difference as a gift that should not be oppressed. After the Alcatraz Island incident, James headed for the Xavier Institute, keen to offer his help to the X-men, as he had long supported the group, having been a student at the school for a few years himself when he was younger.
He is currently undergoing field work on a long term assignment monitoring the situation as it unfolds.
