Name: Kioku. Suoh
Nickname/Alias:スス語- Susu-go
最後の精神- Spirit of The End
オメガエンド- Omega
行方不明の魂- Missing soul
Age: 27
Gender: Male
Height: 180 cms (6'2")
Weight: 64 kgs (141 lbs)
Looks:Overall appearance: Suoh is usually characterized as a tall, slightly pale man of a little more than average athletic build. Standing at a mere six feet, two inches, with a posture that sugests how highly he thinks of himself, and weighing roughly one hundred and forty-one pounds. From just one glance he does not appear to be the most intimidating individual, especially due to the ever-present humbled look that seems to be plastered on his face.
Long, Fiery red hair tops Suoh's head, hanging loosely down just above his shoulders. Silky in appearance, the ends of his hair seems to be razored, almost as if it had been longer at one point, but then cut shorter with a rusty blade. Usually he chooses to keep it slicked back, exposing his smooth forehead and his forehead protecter, a few random strands may fall out of place from time to time, which he may brush back into place in order to remain his composed appearance. A small patch of hair around his left temple is absent, due some burns that coursed over his skin. In a matter of facial hair, Suoh has a small, neatly trimmed, triangle shaped goatee which comes to a point just under his bottom lip. His facial hair being nearly the same red hue, maybe just a shade darker, as his hair, he may also be seen with a faint five o'clock shadow.
With high cheek bones, accompanied by a finely chiseled jaw that comes down to a slightly rounded point. His eyebrows are thin and slanted slightly downward toward his nose, the bridge of which is straight-edged shaped leading to a slight point with small, rounded nostrils. Suoh resembles something of an elfish descent, though his small, rounded ears are evidence of the contrary.
What really sets him apart, are his deep-set eyes. Shadowed, with irises that shine a light crimson encased in utter darkness (pure black scleroses), his gaze is enough to bring the weak-minded to their knees. It is also said that one could determine Suoh's opinion of someone just by the way he glanced at them, at least someone who possessed the capable means of understanding such a thing. Almost always preferring to vent any emotion he may have through his eyes rather than a facial expression. Suoh's eyes may be soft and gentle one moment, then stern the next.
In terms of muscle, what you see is what you get. Suoh sports a well toned six pack just below a fine set of pecks that protrude maybe half an inch or so outward from the rest of his body. Three ribs are slightly visible underneath and to the side of each breast. Overall he is a rather skinny individual, which works to his advantage. Suoh's arms are mildly thick with muscle, yet they are still in proportion with the rest of his body. His legs, though hidden under his hakama, are rather muscular as well, contributing to his agile and speed.
Suoh's entire body has a bloodless complexion and is virtually void of blemishes. The only exception being two large, narrow burn scars which slant diagonally down toward his spine at the base of each shoulder blade. This is from the sealing of the Ancestor inside of him when he was a mere chuunin.
The spirit also puts some qualities of his own throughout Suoh's appearance. The burn marks that protrude down his back formed a scale like scarring on his skin, closing the seals and the injuries that he retained from the sealing process. His eyes are another feature, being able to change color on random or thought. It's not something that he has the best control over yet, but who knows if he'll be able to get it trained? Suoh doesn't mind to show off his scales or scares to anyone that asks, or deserves to see it. He takes very large pride into knowing what is inside him and how much it takes to keep such a being sealed as a vessel.
Casual attireSuoh's casual apparel isn't really anything special; at least in his thoughts. He usually goes shirtless if he had the option to, but the elders beg him to somewhat look put together and hide his body from the view of the younger women and children. Not everyone wants to see his scales and exhilarating body apparently. The black jeans that he does wear everywhere however; stick to his toned legs like glue. They don't move an inch whenever he does take long strides and so forth. They might wrinkle a few times, especially around the zipper, hur hur, but other than that; the belt that keeps them tightly against his body remains loosely fit. He doesn't even need the belt to be honest but, it does make a nice little accessory to throw on.
Even though he does choose to go shirtless most of the time; he does have a shirt and favorite coat that he cherishes for personal reasons. The coat that covers the most of his body has black fur just wrapping around his neck and pushing over his collar bones. The fur could be artificial, he never really asked the person if it was real or not. It didn't really matter, it looked cool enough, right? Right. A plain white and tight T-shirt would do just fine underneath all of that. Not much that he had to do to look good, even if he thought he looked a little on the trashy side even as a kage.
Casual training attire Oh the glorious training outfit of Suoh! It's actually -not- that much different from his casual attire besides the fact that he goes shirtless underneath his coat. Most of his upper body is exposed from behind the adjusted coat; with extra baggy sleeves that he added just for training methods. He usually wears this when it rains so that the water collected at the end of the fabrics could easily weigh down his motions somewhat. He would also use his forehead protector to blind his self so that he could get in more tone with his senses of smell and hearing. He didn't really have to rely on touch all that much, but whatever the cost of training took, he didn't mind pushing his body to it's limits. His hair still remains slicked back in the common hairstyle that he is seen with.
This outfit is only used when he trains his own cell team for missions, or to sleep around in. Once he puts it on, his mood changes and all he thinks about is training and getting what needs to be done, done. The fabric of his coat makes it so that his body actually has to move to get free of the fabric's grip. It acts like chains in a sense; keeping his body back from it's natural and fluid movement. The only training method that he doesn't use this outfit for is his kenjutsu. It would only make this outfit turn to shreds when he attempted to swing the various weapons at his disposal. The overall theme of this whole outfit is just to test his limits in his mind and physical body.
Casual uniformThis is probably the most common outside of his normal attire that people will see the missing-nin in. Since he is actively on duty and sometimes have to leave the country himself to get some work done, this uniform is a custom uniform much different than the ones of higher up Iwagakure ninja. He chose this to not only be easily identified, but it allowed him to be comfortable while actually working and that is the most important thing to be, right? A long-sleeved white shirt is underneath an ebony vest that is buttoned up just to his collar bones. His fore head protector would remain at his right temple, just covering his burn marks and letting the white fabric fall to down to his lower back. His training robes tied around his waist allows him to sheath his weapons just beside his thighs and quickly allows him to drop the tied coat.
Suoh's lower body surprisingly remains unchanged. The boots and lower clothing remaining in this outfit due to his lazy and boring nature. On his hands are the special ops gloves from the Iwagakure Anbu unit for protection from the hilt of his blades. He doesn't care when they get raw, but he rather keep the feelings of his hands just so that he can keep track of his handsigns in his mind. The village is rather accustomed to seeing him going around in this little attire. Even though that Suoh doesn't really care what they think about his looks, he 'attempts' to look somewhat decent with the added vest to his usual lower attire.
Formal attireRarely. Rarely does he wear this. Only meeting other kages, or higher personal does he ever done these robes and outfit. They actually belonged to a prior higher up in Iwagakure; and even with his nature of his personality, Suoh does show some sort of respect by barely touching this red veil. It fits his body perfectly, but still appears loose at the same time. Underneath the red cloak, Suoh dons a gray combo of a blazer and dress pants. His boots still remain on his lower limbs, but he does get them shined! That has to count for something, right?Once he places these on his body, Everyone knows that the area or objective that he means to get done benefits the village, or means the village is in trouble. He doesn't even have the outfit in his own quarters!
The village elders watch this red fabric from behind a glass case and mannequin sculpted to match Suoh's body type. Children aren't even allowed to look at these robes without Suoh behind underneath them. They are years old but, not fragile at all. It helps that they are air dried and washed in a nearby creek that runs past Iwakgakure. Suoh him self only wore these robes one time, and that was the moment that he was deemed Tschuikage by the elders, even if he wasn't the best nomination.
Formal uniformIf you see the The missing-nin done this armor.. You know that he will not budge until either he is on the ground with no breath moving from his nostrils, or the opponent is in pieces before him. The whole armor was based off the 6 tails look(explaining the six sheaths for various blades and the lower part of the sleeve-less vest coming out in 6 frails. The whole color scheme is gray, black and gold. The symbol of Iwakgakure resides in gold on a large portion of his back with a large 'X' sratched on the symbol. His hair is actually let down, covering his eyes and allowing him to move freely. Even if it looks bulky, This whole outfit actually is very light weight. His gloves have slots in the gaps between the fingers that allow the hilts of his blades to lock in place like claws, allowing 3 per hand to be held at the same time. These are usually just normal blades with no real power and reach.
This set unfortunately has never been placed on Suoh yet. It was just made recently due to his orders and it was just delivered. The metal that covers his body is lightening resistant, allowing his raiton jutsu to freely move through his body and not back fire on his own outfit. This however, does not mean that it can't be hurt. The armor is actually very thin, allowing him to be agile still while having some strength to stop Shuriken from puncturing too deeply. He will only wear this armor, or parts of the armor when his village is in danger and he's willing to give his life for it. This isn't meant to look flashy at all(Even though it's completely flashy and awesome looking.)
It's mainly just a distraction so people can underestimate him for trying to look tougher than he actually is.
Personality: The way that Suoh's personalty works is from the hue that his eyes carry through out the conversation. They can change at will and thus changes his mood and personality as well as his manners when speaking to people.
Crimson; Prideful and rude:
Needless to say, Suoh is rather arrogant and proud; his pride and his arrogance stem mostly from his mind, so formidable and mighty, and his natural abilities. He is smarter than most (personally believing less in ’most’ and more in ’all’, and his successes in life certainly support his views thus far) and with his powers, he can treat his own 'death' with nothing more than contempt, for a situation where he would be in any real threat of dying is virtually unthinkable. Naturally, this leads to Suph having no fear whatsoever, and why should he? Dying is more an inconvenience than anything else, physical harm is ultimately meaningless, and his allies mean nothing to him. Their loss is at worst an inconvenience, at best a triumph. He has no friends, no need for things like love…and so he has no fear for the safety and lives of others either.
By default, all Ninja are his ‘enemies’ (but if any were willing to become ‘allies’, then Suoh would be the very last who would turn them down – he isn’t about to discriminate in such matters), but they only become true enemies, real annoyances if they actively oppose him personally, actively hinder his nefarious plans. Only for a true enemy will Suoh bring himself to fight seriously; whilst it is true that in almost any fight, Suoh will seek to defeat and preferably kill the opponent in the fastest, most efficient means possible, he would much rather not fight at all. In favourable circumstances, Suoh would only fight those he deems true enemies…in the end, this means that it is a very select few who may ever see the wrath of the tailed form of Suoh. Suoh is otherwise mostly reluctant regarding battles, doing his best to stay away and let others do the work – he is an artist in death, and fighting is the time wasted before the killing. A mastermind of death should set the scene, and eventually let the dominoes drop…but the hard work, the fighting itself, is best left to the pawns. However, if he must, Suoh will not hesitate to enter the battlefield, for the simple truth remains that whilst others might be asked to fight, only he can truly ensure that everything works out for the best.
Generally, Suoh is comfortable in his skin and that comfort radiates as his almost arrogant confidence in his body. If he had it his way, he would just walk around naked when it was warm and humid. Clothes are not necessary to perform most tasks done in a day, and it's actually more comfortable to him. It's common for him to be nude in his own home, even with company over, or to be wearing as little clothing as possible while training or swimming, ect,. Men or woman, the gender does not make much of a difference. It's easy to get Suoh in a flirty mood, but it's still the lazy confidence of a man who is used to getting his way. Rejection doesn't phase him, and if anything makes him strive harder with a trickling determination. It's the only thing he ever does patiently.
Green; Calm and respectful:
But, to the other likeable aspects. Suoh isn’t exactly a man of few words; he enjoys the sound of his own voice, and engages in conversations most often with delight. Even to those he intends to kill, Suoh can be quite charming, and furthermore, although he has not a care in the world for love, the beautiful ladies of the shonobi world are hardly going to be ignored. Of all beings, they are the last on his list of individuals to see dead…for Suoh is not one to completely abandon more human pleasures. Suoh also enjoys a few indulgences; the man is rather fond of wine and a few select foods from the average human When relaxing, Suoh might also be found reading, or perhaps even walking around the village, peaceful, calm…and so very unlike his fellow Iwagakure shinobi.
In this stage, Suoh is a polite, and very kind person. He may seem arrogant in his words and quite self-centered, but many assume that's just the influence of youth. In fact, he is very giving and just self-confident : he does tend to have a little bit of Tsundere in him. He's very charming, loving to smile at women and making friends with them, and helping those in trouble. He seems relatively harmless and loyal to his friends, but when angry, will and can beat the living shit out of you. He tends to dislike violence, unless aggravated and annoyed. He has a fondness for coffee and seems to not have any ability in household chores. Ever. Minus cleaning. He likes cleaning. And clean spaces equal a happy Suho. He's a bit OCD like that : liking things organized, proper and very well, clean. He does have the tendacy to throw things, when irritated and blushes when complimented by someone he likes. After all, it's a pain to go through his sarcastic comments and treatment in order to become in that friendzone : but once there, it's worth it.
Orange; Fierce and merciless:
Souh is rather ruthless. If his friends are in danger, or himself or his beliefs are wronged, then there is no safe place to hide. While most of the time he seems rather lazy and unmotivated, it takes only a small ounce of his passion to spark for a raging inferno to ignite his determination. In most of the above possible cases, he is not afraid to end the life of another human being or creature if it will satisfy the need for either protection or justice that drives him. It's almost a scary type of bloody lust that pushes forward in these times that Suoh himself does not always understand, yet does not attempt to fight it when it works in his favor. His style is a series of switching between defense, dodging, and fast paced attacks that strike high and hard in the vital areas; The face, chest, and joints. He won't hesitate to snap a bone or pull and enemy to the ground before dispatching them in their moment of weakness. Those who are normally strong and then become weak are less then those born weak, and deserve no mercy in his eyes. It's just the way the man thinks, and that will never change about him. If he had to call himself good or evil, it would take him weeks to justify either one with a good explanation.
There would be times where he would even attack his own allies from his own rage. It blinded all of his senses more when Noboru would get involved with the rage. Storm release isn't something that he doesn't mind using even in his own village. If he gets caught in the range of an attack, then so be it. As long as he can take out the people trying to stop him, and hinder him from doing anything else, Suoh will make sure that they go down, and go down hard.
Likes
Solitude - Suoh has always preferred to stay on his own, especially since the sealing of Noboru inside him.
Silence - Complete and utter silence allows Suoh to clear his mind and re-examine his past actions. This is usually a thing that is hard to come by, as his somewhat juvenile companions can rarely stand a moment without making some sort of racket.
The Open Night Sky - Such a thing gives Suoh a sense of luster and freedom, something that is rather rare in his case. He often finds himself gazing up at the starless sky above Iwakgakure and inevitably losing his train of thought.
Roses - More specifically, the fragrance of roses is something Suoh finds most enjoyable. As a chuunin, his girl would pick them from her garden and craft beautiful bouquets, which he would then sell in the town market. She always kept a single rose (absent of any thorns) tucked behind her ear, which seemed to bloom every time she smiled. At least, this is what he liked to imagine whenever he thought of her.
Candy - Since Suoh was a young lad, he always had quite a sweet tooth. He rather enjoys sour candy, though the sort of "numbness" of his taste buds that follows isn't as enjoyable as the actual candy.
Art - As a child, Suoh was oddly intrigued with art. This fascination followed him throughout his life; he would still find himself stopping to marvel in the beauty of certain things for quite some time. It wasn't just wondrous tapestries or sculpted creations that caught his eye, simple things, such as a child's chalk drawings upon a sidewalk would ward a moment of silent contemplation for Suoh.
Dislikes
Loudmouths - Suoh has a strong dislike for those who, in short, have an inability to keep themselves quiet. He finds any random babbling an unnecessary annoyance and will not hesitate to silence anyone getting on his nerves. Normally, he finds the people who insist on being the loudest believe themselves to be the most powerful, which is easily one of the greatest exaggerations in existence.
Arrogance - Though Suoh himself may feel superior to most beings, he hates those who voice such things. He views those who do as such to be unworthy of his time or slight effort to wipe them off the face of the earth.
Confinement - Suoh is rather claustrophobic, in a sense that he dislikes being trapped small, confined spaces where he is unable to "stretch his wings", in a hypothetical and literal sense. If he finds himself in such circumstances he will go into a blind rage, doing anything in his power to break free of his prison.
Kiwifruit - Suoh's dislike of this subtropical fruit is for no reason more than its texture. As a child he had only tasted it on a few occasions, but immediately spit it out (seeing as he bit into a whole kiwi, fuzzy outside and all).
Lack of Free Will - Suoh finds those who are unable to think for themselves and make their own decisions are quite useless in this Shinobi world. Though his village follow his orders without questions, they do this by their own will and have the ability to disobey. He sees the mind as one of a person's most valuable lines of defense, and if breached could render someone completely useless.
Ignorance - Many may claim that ignorance is bliss, but Suoh believes this to be far from reality. Those who are blind to the truth and refuse to accept valid proof of the contrary to their beliefs annoy him to no end.
Tobacco Smoke - The stench of tobacco is possibly the world's most disgusting and unattractive scents in Suoh's opinion. Not only does the slightest whiff make him want to gag up every last bit of his stomach content, but if the scent lingers on his cloths, he very well may set them ablaze on the spot to rid himself of its nuisance.
Immaturity - Suoh finds this trait to go hand in hand with arrogance, ignorance, and most of all perverseness. If he finds any combination of which in one person, it may cause serious inner conflict as to whether or not Suoh should slit this individual's throat just to relieve the world of their annoyance.
Nindo: "Do not let the past effect you. It made you who you are today."
Goals:Peace - All in all, Suoh wishes to achieve peace. Not something as absurd as "world peace", such a thing is the dream of the clinically insane and the flea infested, brightly colored hippies... no, he did not care for the world in such ways. In truth, the reality was far simpler; he wished to one day be at peace with himself. For years a battle has raged within him and his alignment had been called into question on several occasions, some day he hoped that battle would subside and he could die without a care in the world.
Catchphrase: "Destruction is a natural event to happen."
Clan Name: Kioku
Kekkei Genkai: Storm Release (嵐遁, Ranton)
Ranton is an advanced nature Kekkai Genkai that combines the Raiton and Suiton elements into a single powerful element. Ranton can manifest in one of two forms. The first is as beams of energy that can flow like water and be manipulated with high precision. These beams are high speed, heavy impact techniques which can either be piercing in nature or explode upon contact with the force of roughly 5 normal explosive tags. The main weakness of this form is that the beams must flow from their origin point on the users body and if that flow or body part is interrupted they can be stopped prematurely. The second manifestation of Ranton is in the form of dark thunder clouds surging with lightning. These clouds lack the direct attack power of the previously mentioned form, however this is balanced by the severe increase in versatility. These clouds can limit enemy movement, serve as a powerful defense, and even provide visual cover.

Strengths: Agile - Suoh prides his speed and nimble grace above all else. His agility is the key to both his defense and offense, as well as his greatest asset when avoiding certain "unfriendly" targets.
Determination - It seems this trait has been with Suoh since birth, as he took his first steps far before any of the younger noblemen and refused to settle until he could walk without falter. Like then, he still refuses to let anything stand in the way of his goals.
Swordsmanship - Though Suoh is trained extensively in several sword styles, he rarely relies on his blade in combat. When he does, his speed and agility with his weapon appear as nothing but a blur, though his attacks consist of many well-defined movements.
Flaws/Weaknesses: Haemophilia- Suoh suffers from a rare genetic condition known as haemophilia. his blood takes longer to clot, and as such, even small cuts will continue to bleed violently for a long period of time.
Over confident - Being overconfident in his abiltiles, Suoh will not be able to escape from a IC fight unless he is maimed or seriously injured.
[hider=History:]
Birth Arc:
Suoh’s story starts with one man, a man named Uzumaki Maka. Years before Kai’s birth, Maka was a Jounin of Taigakure, and indeed one of their finest. He was known for his immense skill and the undying love and loyalty he harbored for his village and his comrades. But what made Maka so well-known among his peers was that he was the first cousin of Taigakures’s Taikage. Though not as skilled or powerful (or famous) as his relative, Maka was still nonetheless quite a formidable man.
The man had a friendly rivalry with one of his former Genin teammates, a female Jounin by the name of Uzumaki Heero . These two were constantly competing against each other, ever since their first training session back when they were Genin. They had saved each other’s lives a number of times, had been there for each other through thick and thin, and so on. It was therefore no surprise that they ended up falling in love with each other, though admittedly it took them quite a while to realize it. When word spread that the two of them were engaged, there was a great deal of approved nodding among the older folk. You couldn’t find a more perfect match, they would say. And indeed they were correct. Both Maka and Heero shared a multitude of interests and personality traits, the most significant being the affection they had for their village and its people.
Finally, after months of waiting, Maka and Heero married. The entire village was happy for them, and wished them a happy life together. The newlyweds eventually decided to leave the village and move into the countryside, where they wished to spend their lives in peace and raise a family. Though many were saddened and distraught to see two of Taigakure’s finest leaving the village and its ranks, cheers and congratulations were still fresh in the air.
So, the day came when Maka and Heero left the village and settled into a small cottage just outside a small village. Maka managed to find himself a satisfactory job in no time, and Heero spent her days mingling with others and enjoying all life had to offer. They were as happy as could be; a cynical man would have stated that tragedy was probably dying to strike them, but nothing happened in the couple’s life that was remotely like that.
It was a few months after they had moved into their new home when Maka came home to great news. Heero excitedly told him that she was pregnant. Maka was delighted to hear this, and it was not long when they were telling their friends and relatives that they were expecting. From then, on the days went by in anticipation and excitement as they planned and fantasized about being parents.
However, the happiness did not maintain its colossal magnitude. War had erupted in Taigakure, and it had claimed the life of Maka’s entire family. Hearing this news, Maka was horrorstruck and hurried back to his village as soon as he heard the news. He returned from his trip a slightly different man, the loss of his precious family and the thought of not having been there to help his beloved village having wounded his soul. He found comfort in Heero, who did her best to cheer him. Maka did seem to feel better after awhile, thanking his wife for being there for him. Knowing that he was about to become a father, Maka was aware that it would not be good for his soon-to-be expanded family if he spent his days sulking and mourning. Realizing this, he returned to his normal self, much to Heero’s relief. But she sensed that something in her husband had changed; something she couldn’t quite put her finger on. She did not know at the time just how accurate her intuition was.
The days passed by, life seemed to be returning to normal, but there was something different in the atmosphere now. Maka was not behaving like his usual perky self; he was at times rather distant and brooding, as if his mind was somewhere else. He started leaving the house for noticeably long periods of time, hanging out with queer people, spending hours alone in his study. Heero wondered what was wrong with him, and was starting to worry that Maka might be involving himself with a bad crowd.
At long last, the fated day arrived. Heero lay in the hospital ward, holding in her arms a small baby boy, with Maka beside her. At first glance, the child seemed to belong to them; he bad Heero’s red crimson hair and green eyes. Heero remarked that she hoped their son would grow up to be a handsome man. Maka agreed with a nod, smiling down at his new son. They named the child Uzumaki Suoh
Now that he was a father, a part of Heero hoped that Maka would return to his regular self. To her immense relief, he did just that, reverting to his playful and joyous nature, playing and loving his child. The sight pleased Heero, for she was glad that the Maka she knew and loved was back. The days passed by pleasantly and life just seemed perfectly beautiful.
Sealing ark:
It was two months later when disaster struck. Maka and Heero awoke in the morning to find that someone had kidnapped their son in the middle of the night. Horrified by what had happened, they began searching everywhere they could for Suoh, asking anyone they could for help, desperate to find their child. Heero looked as if the world had come to end; she was terrified for her child, worried that he might be in grave danger. This time, Maka was there for her, helping her get through the mess they were in. It was Maka’s confidence that they would find Heero that stopped Heero from doing something reckless.
One night, while lying in bed trying to fall asleep, Heero heard Maka sneaking out of the house. Her suspicions arising once more, she began to follow him, recalling everything she had ever learned as a ninja about shadowing others. Exactly where Maka was going, she had no idea, but she was determined to find out. It wasn’t that she didn’t trust him; a part of her was telling her that something wrong. So, she followed Maka through the night across land until he reached a small cave entrance at the base of a tall mountain. Maka’s cautious nature at this point made Heero even more suspicious, and without a second thought she followed her husband into the cave.
Stepping into the tunnel, Heero found herself reaching a large stone cavern crafted by hand into the mountain. Inside the cavern, she spotted Maka speaking to a number of cloaked figures. Drawn on the center of the cavern floor was a large, intricate seal; a large barrel was suspended a few meters above the seal’s center.Heero, being an expert Fuuinjutsu specialist, knew immediately that this was a sealing ceremony, though she had no idea what was being sealed. Keeping her presence hidden, she watched as Maka and the mysterious men dispersed and moved to stand at specific points around the seal.
One of the cloaked men stepped towards the seal’s center and deposited a small object wrapped in numerous folds of cloth onto the floor. He then positioned himself like the others, and as one, all of the men (including Maka), began forming a string of unknown handseals, naming each seal as it was made. As Heero watched, the seal markings on the floor began to snake towards the object in the center, slipping through the folds of the cloth covering the object. As soon as the last marking had vanished underneath the folds, the barrel suspended above began to shake violently, swinging from its chain unstably. None of the men in the room reacted, still performing the handseals. It was then that a dark gray, smoke-like mist began to seep out of the barrel and flow smoothly to the object below. Just like the markings, the gas slid into the cloth, quickly vanishing from sight.
The men formed the final handseal, and then one of the cloaked figures stepped forward and picked up the object on the ground. The object was passed intoMaka’s arms, who looked down at it with a look of pleasure and determination. As he lowered the cloth from the top of the object, Heero gasped loudly as she realized that the object was actually Suoh
Confused, Heero stepped out from behind her cover and called to Maka. The man started and stared in surprise at Heero, unable to believe his eyes. Slowly, in a stunned voice, Heero asked Maka what had just happened, why Suoh was here. When her husband did not reply, Heero advanced forward and grabbed her baby, staring down at it. An intricate seal tattoo was present in the middle of the child’s chest, and ran up his spine to the back of his shoulder blades. Not looking at Maka, Heero repeated her question. She looked up at him with such a fierce fire that the cloaked figures behind Maka automatically stepped back a pace.
After a minute of silence, Makafinally spoke. He told Heero that Suoh had not been kidnapped by thieves. Maka had taken him away one night and brought him here. When asked why he had done so, he replied that he had done it all forTaigakure, all for the safety of his village. He explained that the barrel above had been holding one of the legendary Bijuu inside. For many months, Maka had been searching for the Bijuu, and after much effort, he had found and, with help, managed to capture it. And once he had done that, he had brought Suoh here to have the Bijuu sealed within him, to turn him into its new host.
Hearing this, Heero backed away from Maka, her face horrified and at the same furious. She couldn’t believe that Maka would do something like seal a Bijuu into their newborn son’s body. She yelled at him, asking how he could such a thing, how he thought he had the right to do such a thing Maka’s reply came with a chuckle this time. He informed her that it was all for Taigakure, all for the safety of the village. Suoh would be raised as Taigakure’s ultimate weapon, so that should they ever need it, they would unbelievable power at their disposal. They would be able to crush anyone who stood against them, and never again would anyone in the village have to suffer or feel fear.
As Maka spoke, a strange look had appeared in his face, a strange glint was in his eyes. He looked like a completely different person now. Heero realized that this was the realMaka; this was what he had turned into ever since war. Once he had finished his speech, Heero shook her head, telling Maka that she would not allow it, that she refused to let her son be the carrier of a demon. Maka was to have the Bijuu removed from Suoh immediately, and if he felt Taigakure needed a Jinchuuriki so badly, then he could turn himself into one. It was a mark of just how much she loved Maka; she was willing to toss aside a chance to protect her village, just so that her son wouldn’t have to suffer.
Heero’s words surprised Maka. He stared at her in silence for a few minutes, as if suddenly seeing her in a new light. Finally, he stroked his hair, looking around him distractedly as if he were thinking. He then looked at Heero, and his expression was cold and dark. If Heero was going to stand in the way of protecting Taigakure, then she was an enemy ofTaigakure. If that was the case, then Maka had to do his duty.
With those words, he lunged at Heero ,a kunai suddenly appearing in his hand as it swung towards the woman’s throat. Heero managed to dodge just in time, maintaining her grip on the unconscious Suoh . Maka turned to face Heero, a terrifying look in his eyes. Heero knew that he was beyond reason now, so she turned tail and ran, sprinting out of the cave as fast as she could with Maka right behind her.
The two figures ran through the night, Heero doing her best to try and lose Maka. In a normal situation, she would have stopped and fought, but she couldn’t dare risk it lest she injure Suoh . So she simply ran, and using a few tricks, she managed to lose her pursuer. She quickly took refuge in a small town, taking advantage of the moment. As it was the middle of the night the inhabitants were fast asleep, so she did not have to worry about anyone questioning her or seeing her.
She left Suoh at the town’s orphanage and ran off, trying not to think about her son. All she could do was pray that he would lead a happy life, and that he would not have to suffer for what she and Maka had brought upon him.
Childhood Arc:
Suoh grew up without any recollection of the above-mentioned events, or in fact of any information regarding his parents. The orphanage he lived in was not, strictly speaking, the best in the business. The village he lived in was small, poor, and not well-developed, littered with large families that barely had enough money to feed themselves. His orphanage was small yet packed with more children then it could handle. The children there lived in sub-standard conditions, receiving a great deal of neglect from the staff due to their number. Since the village was not well-known and most of the families had more members than they could handle, not many adoptions occurred; thus, it was common to see children as old as fifteen living in the orphanage, assuming they hadn’t been kicked out yet or run away.
Growing up in a rough, neglected environment like he did, Suoh was not really the happiest child you could run into. There wasn’t anyone to teach him about good ethics, though that’s not to say he was a delinquent. While Suoh did have a rather bad habit of getting into trouble, he never did anything severe. Of course, he had his good qualities, but he didn’t really have anyone to help that part of him grow.
Being an orphan did not bother Suoh as much as it did most people. Sure, he had no idea who his parents where or why they had abandoned him, but to him the word “parent” was just another word. As he never received any of the love and affection that every child needs as they grow, he did not fully understand the importance of having a family, or indeed any form of relation. Even his friends (though the word “acquaintances” might be a better term) were not that close to him, though this was mostly because they found him to be a rather odd character.
And odd he was. For one thing, Suoh never showed himself whenever anyone would come to adopt a child, nor did he spend his time with boys of his age group. He would often wander aimlessly through the village and the surrounding areas by himself, taking in the beauty of the world around him. He hated the orphanage he lived in, his gut turning every time he returned to it or looked at it. And it was not just the orphanage. He disliked most of the people around him as well, not because he thought they were idiots or that he was better than them, but because he knew they all disliked him as well. The adults would often say to each other about how the boy gave off an odd feeling to others; as if there was something not quite right about him. As a result of this treatment, he was rather quiet and cold around others, snubbing them rudely or simply ignoring them.
What with the bad impression he gave to others, it was no wonder that Suoh remained in the orphanage for almost ten years. During those ten years, all Suoh could wish for was some way to leave it. If he had given the people who wished to adopt him a chance, he may have gotten his wish earlier. The idea of a parent did not seem appealing to him, however, so it was unlikely that he would be leaving through adoption. Even so, Suoh did get his wish to leave the orphanage.
It was a day like any other day. More accurately, it was just before sunset. Yet this day was forever etched in Suoh’s mind. At the time, Suoh was sitting on a tree branch in the park when he heard a loud explosion sound behind him, followed by screams of pain and fear. Looking behind him, Suoh saw a horde of men dressed completely in black running through the village, knocking down doors, setting buildings on fire, massacring people left and right. The bandits ransacked the town, killing anyone they could. Every building was burnt or knocked down to the ground. As Suoh ran through the burning village and the bloodshed, he could see the people he had spent so many years with falling before his very eyes. The terrified boy ran as fast as he could from the carnage, wanting nothing more than to live.
He ran and ran, ran for longer than he had ever run in his entire life, longer than he thought he could, until he finally collapsed inside an empty cave. Here, the boy rested, frightened and alone, wondering what he was going to do now. He stayed in the cave for a few hours, emerging when he began to feel hungry. He found some fruit and a river, and once he had satisfied his hunger, he set out in a random direction, hoping to come across some form of civilization soon. He had no plan, but he figured it would be better to go look for something rather than wait for it.
Suoh walked for hours and hours, climbing over fallen logs and going around streams and rivers. He had been travelling for nearly two hours when he came across an open road that led to a fork. Reading the sign at the junction to try and figure out where he was or where he was going, Suoh picked one of the forks at random and followed it. His decision brought him to another village, and as soon as he saw it, Suoh knew that this was a much more developed place than where he had grown up.
Entering the village, Suoh began looking for some form sustenance. Being only ten, he had no money in his possession, and he wasn’t exactly skilled enough to earn a living. He therefore had to resort to stealing to live, which did not really go too well with the people he stole from. And so, Suoh’s bad reputation seemed to persist, and he ended up living on the streets, stealing and struggling to survive. Again, it was not as bad for as it might have been for others. As he had barely had any proper comforts in the orphanage, his current lifestyle, while in no way an improvement, was nonetheless bearable. Of course, that didn’t mean Suoh would refuse an act of kindness from anyone.
However, once h had got caught, a shinobi took him to the academy of Iwakgakure. There, he felt just like he did at the orphanage, bored, and alone.
Becoming a ninja Arc:
By now, Suoh had grown a good deal since he had left the orphanage. Not just in body, but in mind as well. He was more mature than people his age and much tougher due to his rough lifestyle. When it came to ambitions or plans for the future, Suoh did not really have any plan. Not for lack of trying or laziness, but because he had no one to guide him to point him in the right direction. He didn’t want to live his entire life the way he was currently living it. Therefore, he was willing to take any chance to change his future that would come his way. And come it did.
During one of his visits to inner Iwagakure, Suoh was mugged by a gang of older teens. Unfortunately for them, Suoh did not have anything useful to steal, so to make up for his not yielding anything of value, the boys proceeded to beat him up. Being much smaller and weaker than the boys, Suoh could not stand up for himself properly, and was severely pummeled. Lying on the ground, bruised and beaten with the boys kicking and mocking him, Suoh felt completely helpless.
It was then that the boys’ activity was interrupted. An old, hunched up man had stepped up to them, asking them to cease beating Suoh. Laughing, the boys advanced towards the man, ready to attack. The first blow they landed was countered effortlessly by the man, much to everyone’s surprise. With a swing of his hand, the man sent a gush of wind at the boys, knocking them off their feet and into a dumpster. Frightened, the boys climbed out of the dumpster and ran for it.
The old man then walked over to Suoh and helped him up. Placing his hand over the injured boy’s wounds, the man healed them immediately using his chakra. Once Suoh was back to full health, he thanked the man, asking him how he had done such things. Smiling, the man took Suoh to a restaurant and bought him something to eat while he explained everything. Jiro(for that was the man’s name) told Suoh about Ninja, Chakra, Ninjutsu, and many other things. Suoh listened in awe to everything the man said. He had seen ninja before, but he had never thought much of them. To him they were just another group of people. But listening to Jiro’s explanation made Suoh realize that there was more to being a ninja than he had first thought.
Once Jiro was done with his explanation, he asked Suoh to tell him about his life. As Suoh summarized his past in a few sentences, Jiro listened with a sympathetic and pitying face. When Suoh was finished with his narrative, the old man asked the boy if he wished to learn about being ninja, if he wanted to do something useful with his life. The offer surprised Suoh, and after a few minutes of silent thinking, he agreed. With that, Jiro took Suoh under his wing and began training him to be a ninja.
From then on, Suoh’s life became more difficult. He realized for the first time that he had an actual goal now, and it felt good. He worked hard with his new teacher whose name he was told was Jiro. He tried his best to master everything he was taught. Jiro was pleased to see that Suoh was quite sharp and talented, able to adapt to this sudden change in his life quite well. Knowing that he had to start from the basics, Jiro was patient and considerate with the boy, giving confidence and making sure he did lose his resolve. It soon came to the point that Suoh began regarding Jiro as a friend, someone he could actually turn to. For the first time in years, Suoh finally felt like he was happy with his life.
The Chuunin life:
The years passed, and soon Suoh had learned a good deal about being a ninja. His travels with Jiro had helped his growth greatly, granting him even more experience. Jiro was not only helping Suoh become a better ninja, but he was even helping him become a better person. Good manners, the difference between right and wrong, politeness, all those things which a parent ought to teach their child. Suoh wondered often if this was what it felt like to have a parent or at the very least a sibling.
Soon, the time came when Suoh’s training with Jiro had come to an end; and not a moment too soon. As Suoh knew all too well, Jiro was a very old man who, despite his great strength, was nearing the end of his life. Soon, Jiro would be gone, and Suoh would be all by himself. Now, the old man told him, it was all up to Suoh. How he lived his life, how he trained, what he did, it was all Suoh’s choice now. Ever grateful Suoh thanked Jiro, staying by the man’s side until he died.
A few days after Jiro’s death, a highly significant event occurred. While traversing through a large, grassy meadow,Suoh sensed that he was being followed by someone. Glancing around, he saw a cloaked figure standing ten meters away from him, surveying him from under his hood. When questioned as to why he was following Suoh, the man chuckled softly, remarking that he was interested in Suoh, or more specifically, what was inside Suoh.
Confused, the boy asked for further details. The man grinned and replied with a question, asking if Suoh knew about the creatures called “Bijuu”. When the answer was given in the negative, the man elaborated, explaining what the Bijuu where, and then going on to explain about Jinchuuriki. Suoh listened patiently, wondering what this had to do with him. The man then pointed to Suoh and announced that he was a Jinchuuriki.
Silent for a full minute, Suoh simply stared at the cloaked man. He made to walk away as if the conversation was over, but the man suddenly appeared in front of Suoh and placed his index finger on the latter’s forehead. He told Suoh that he expected his words to be treated with disbelief on Suoh’s part, but he had proof. Before suoh could do anything, he saw a memory surface in his mind’s eye, the memory of the night when he had had the Bijuu sealed within him. And as that happened, the seal signifying his status as a Jinchuuriki appeared on his chest.
Suoh was pulled out of the memory, and the experience had been so real that he had no doubts whatsoever about its validity. He looked up at the hooded man’s face, for he recognized him from the memory. This was the brown-haired man from the memory, the only one who had not been shrouded in a cloak. This was the man who had brought him to the cave to become a Jinchuuriki. Still trying to understand the gravity of the situation, the boy sat onto the grass, taking it all in. He had a monster inside him, and no one had ever told him. He had never known that he was supposed to be a tool used as a trump card; that his future had been stolen from him not long after he was born.
With a chuckle and an evil grin, the man remarked how unfortunate it was for Suoh. To have such horrible parents, who were willing to place a demon inside their son, and then abandon him afterward? It was cruel and horrid. Clearly his parents had never loved him! Those words, much to Suoh’s surprise, actually stung him. He realized that a small part of him had always hoped that he did have people out there who loved him, people who he could call his parents. But after what he had just heard, he did not think so anymore. This man, he was right. Only a twisted person would do something like this.
Looking up at the man, Suoh asked him why he had told him this, and if he was here for his Bijuu. The man laughed and said that he it was not only that. He had come to help Suoh, to make him turn his curse into a gift. As the man spoke, he lowered his cloak, and as Suoh got a good look of his face, a new memory appeared in his mind: a vision, a vision of opening his eyes from darkness to look up into two faces, that of a red-headed woman and a brown-haired man, as they beamed down at him.
All of a sudden, it dawned on the horrified Suoh that this man was his father. The curtain having been lifted, his subconscious took over from there. It all came back to him now. Though he had been asleep at the time, Suoh had heard his father confessing to the crime of kidnapping him and sealing the Bijuu inside him without anyone’s consent, and the reason as to why he had done it. All of it flooded into his mind, spilling out from behind the reservoir of memories within which it had been hidden for so long.
Anger flooded into Suoh’s blood, and he backed away from the man named Maka, murmuring softly that he remembered now, remembered who Makawas, what he had done. Maka was surprised to hear this, but confirmed the fact that he was indeed Suoh’ s father. Grinning wickedly, he remarked that he had been searching for Suoh for years just so that he could complete what he had started, so that he could have Suoh fulfill his purpose. The only reason Maka and Suoh’s mother had given birth to the boy had been to turn him into a Jinchuuriki. These words stunned Suoh, and he stood there frozen on the spot, staring blankly into space.
Chuckling, Maka began to walk over to Suoh. He suddenly pulled his fist back and made to punch the boy and knock him out. With Maka’s skill and experience, someone like Suoh would stand no chance. The punch should have hit suoh. It didn’t. As the blow was an inch from Suoh’s face, the boy’s hand grabbed the arm by the wrist in mid-attack and stopped it in its tracks. A surprised Maka looked down to see that the boy’s eyes had gone wide, as if something had snapped inside. As the man watched, the boy’s eyes began to change, the entirety of the eye turning a dark orange color with the slits of a reptile. In a soft voice, Suoh slowly spoke the words: “Don’t touch me”.
With that, Suoh swung his own arm and tore Maka’s arm in half as easily as if it were made of spaghetti. Howling in pain, Maka stumbled back, gripping the stump of his arm, staring with horror and surprise at Suoh. The boy’s face was plastered with a crazed, murderous look, his entire body covered in a crimson, flame-like aura.
Suoh tossed aside the bleeding appendage he held in his hand, his eyes wide and bursting with murderous intent. Maka had just enough time to realize that the boy was under the Bijuu’s influence before Suoh vanished from the spot to appear right in front of him. Before he could react, Maka felt something pierce deep into his chest; looking down, he saw Suoh’s hand embedded into his chest. Without a word, Suoh closed his hand over Maka’s heart and yanked it clean out of his chest. A howl of pain escaped from the man’s mouth as he collapsed onto the grass, dead.
A panting Suoh looked down at the immobile figure, his eyes aflame with anger. A second later the flame died away. Suoh’s entire body shuddered, and he then dropped to the ground in a dead faint.
The war from the grass(Jounin Arc):
Going back to Iwagakure, Suoh had no recall on what happened to waking up to his father’s body laying beside him. It was more like a dream than anything. He knew something had happened, but he couldn’t figure out what. Finding out what exactly was inside him was the only thought that he could possess at the moment. If he was a vessel of some sort, then it would be smart to visit inside him and try to figure out what is going on, right? Nah, nah. Suoh didn’t think hat way. He was going to keep slient and try to keep this thing in secrecy. If he was going to move up in the ranks of Iwakgakure, then he would have to do it on his own. Not with some help of some demon that was sealed inside of him without his choice. It was the only way to make Jiro proud in his mind.
Maka was no where near the parent that he thought he had. Even though that was his source of power all along, it did explain how he could use opposing elements(Raiton/Suiton) and sometimes mix them together to form liquid like electricity.3 years pass from the incident that left Suoh in thought about what was inside him. Going from Chuunin to Jounin was second nature for him with being inside Iwagakure and taking up a cell group of genin that he had to teach. He was going to use the exact same methods that Jiro taught him to use chakra and ninjutsu efficiently.
During a mission out near Grass Country, Suoh kept his team close together while they were infiltrating the borders to spot the Up coming infrantry that the grass were sending towards Iwagakure for their gold. Suoh cared greatly for his genin, especially one that reminded him of his self as a kid. Always the trouble maker and trying to fit in by being something he wasn’t. He honestly made him slightly bias, but who cares? Sensei’s can get favorites. After speaking to his team, he decided that it would be much easier if they remained as decoys so that he could pick off any grass ninja that came near them. Kneeling before them, he quickly placed his hand on the ground and nodded; telling them to stay put and that he’ll be in the trees nearby. Standing up, Suoh quickly vanished in thin air, mounting up in the trees that overlooked a large plain. His blades remained to his side, sheathed in his sash while his digits went through his fiery locks; he wasn’t minding the wait to see if his team would succeed in their mission.
And he was right; the wait wasn’t long at all as he saw 3 different grass ninja slowly approach the genin. Blinking a few times, Suoh took in a deep breath while he felt his body tense up just like the incident years ago with his father. Shaking his head slightly he tired his hardest to shake the thought of repeating that. What if he hurts or kills his team while he is under the influence of her? He couldn’t risk that. “Not now.” He simply muttered while rubbing his stomach. He hated how intense this whole ordeal felt when it was something fairly simple to deal with.
At least in his mind; the genin are probably more terrified than anything. Usually, Suoh never uses his blades to get rid of his opponents but, this matter with others involved, and others he held dear. Dropping from the tree, he quickly gripped his blade’s handle, just tuggin the sheath down at a angle at his waist. He kept his knees bent, with his iris’s slowly changing back to orange. The blood lust went through is veins as he vanished, appearing in front of the genin with his hand still on his blade while he looked down at them with a snarl escaping his lips. Blood quickly covered the area as it rained down on the genin from the bodies of the grass ninja succumbing to their injuries. Suoh had moved from each one and appeared in front of the genin right before blood escaped their body.
If that didn’t show how much the biju affected his skills, then what else could? His eyes quickly fluttered with the orange hue leaving his eyes just as quickly as it formed. Making his hand loosen the grip on his blade and falling to his knees while his arm reached out to his genin. “Village. Now.” Was all that he could muster before falling unconscious again.
You’d think he’d be used to it by now, but no. Not really.
Kage Arc:
Ever since the last Tschuikage stepped down after the grass invasion; Suoh was nominated after the last mission and for his strength of the biju inside him. It did irk him that the vote was mainly for him being a weapon of the village and being of command allowed him to build what he saw fit. If he was going to make Iwagakure better, then it was going to have to fit his image. It only took him 27 years to get to this state of power. From going through a immense child hood, and teenage years, he only pondered what would have happened if his father didn’t seal the beast inside him. Where would he be at? Would he even be considered to be of kage level within a village if it wasn’t for his demon? It seemed like the Ancestor was the kage rather than Suoh and that was about to change. He might not have been talking to her since the day he killed his father, but now she was just asking for it.
If he was to protect the village with his might and strength, then he might as well get used to using the creature inside of him instead of fighting against it. It would only stalemate advancements and political reasons for Iwagakure. Once the ceremony came forth, a red garb was placed on Suoh, one of utter importance as the other Tsuchikage have worn it during their inauguration. He didn’t really care for it, but he couldn’t complain. During the ceremony, there were people who were shocked, and there were people who clapped for support. He didn’t really know how to respond to this seeing as he didn’t really care about what the people thought. He doesn’t even know how he was considered when there are other fine ninja, and possibly stronger that could be took into this spot.
He wasn’t going to ask why he was placed in that rank. It would make it look like he was questioning his own abilities, and make it seem like he was doubting. That is not a fit look for a kage at all; at least in his opinions. The ceremony was actually painless. Not quick, but painless. He didn’t get too much, attention and it didn’t feel –that- different from any other rank. He couldn’t really figure out why he was such a respected thing to be called a kage. Maybe it hasn’t exactly hit him yet, but who knows where he will take Iwagakure, and the surrounding land. He doesn’t know if he will be a good kage, or a bad. With his Ancestor inside him, only time could tell what could come out of the orphan that started with nothing but gained a future that could change hundreds, maybe even thousands of lives.
