Sofia Stien - Jacks Headquarters

Sofia listened. She was to... Dispose of them. Sofia closed her eyes and breathed out slowly. Let it all fade away. Let the whole world fade away. Jason's hand slipped through her. For a tranquil moment there was nothing to feel. Nothing to hear. Nothing to be scared of, or confused about. Nothing at all. She opened her eyes again and the world came rushing back again, painfully fast and real. But she could disassociate from it now. Feel events happening from an emotional barricade. Make them go away. And go to her room. Simple. Sofia walked towards the two objects carefully, only faltering at the last step as she knelt down to touch them. Just objects that needed to go away. And they did. Faded through the floor, out of sight out of mind, just like they should be. Sofia only wobbled a little when she stood up. "I'm going to my room now." she said calmly, not letting her thoughts show in her voice and she began doing just that. Not thinking about how Broker could disable her power at any time. Not thinking about how if she wanted to leave she would be another liability and vanish just like the other Whimsy, unable to use her power. Not thinking about anything.

Samson frowned at the curt dismal he'd received. Well it didn't matter, the bus had arrived as signaled by the loud horn and person talking, so as long as-

*BANG*

...

He had a feeling whoever was doing that would cause him no lack of irritation in the future. He would simply have to do his best to avoid them, which would be easier once they weren't all herded into the exact same spot. Rather than rushing onto the bus for prime seating, as was inevitable, Samson simply waited for the others to board. He had no intention of shoving and pushing against others when he had no preference for his seat and could just wait regardless. Samson would likely be last to board the bus unless some student had a fanatical obsession with being last or the staff member planned on waiting and would simply take whatever seat was available.

Discussion rose all around him, breaking like water. But it was somewhat interesting at least. If his ears and general sense of what was going on did not fail him there was a student who's body consisted of wasps. Samson wondered what that was like. Could see through hundreds of eyes and feel through hundreds of bodies? It would certainly be something incomparable to any human experience. Suddenly a bang rang out across the assembled students, drawing the eyes of many and a flurry of discussion. Samson twitched irritably and adjusted his dress clothes slightly before he turned to the source: his blurry vision informing him of nothing, but his red eyes probably uncanny to look into all the same. Although compared to a human made of wasps, perhaps not so uncanny. "Would you mind keeping the disruptive noises such as that down please, such noises can be rather distressing, especially when unexpected. And given the situation, it's likely best to wait for a staff member from the academy rather than causing a ruckus. " Samson said in the general direction of Temper before closing his eyes and returning to his pseudo-meditation, or perhaps attempts to sleep as it would look to anyone observing him.
Lance Ristoff: Light Dorm #1 Studentand friends

"A quick response using the enemies field against him resulting in a massive direct hit. Two merciless machines flay a fish and fire offensively." Lance said thoughtfully as the next turn progressed. It was really unfortunate for Wataru that his opponent shared his attribute, and thus the benefits of his field. Next turn was when it really kicked off though. "A swift series of destructions and protections, the failed effort perhaps not so failed after all, resulting in a frightening fanged fish flying from fishy friends to fight ferociously." Lance observed, spitting off rapid fire alliteration with little trouble at all, merely resulting in an eye roll from Akane.

"Interesting, thought his initial ploy failed, it was merely the first step of a plan to bring out an even more powerful monster, regardless of its success. A most effective two pronged play." Akane said as she scribbled something down in her notebook.

"Yet there is no defeat in Izumi's eyes, do I sense a turn around? Oh! The enemy field cleared and a amoury's worth of arsenal is brought to the field to attack directly to finish off Wataru who has no cards left to play!" Lance said dramatically as the resulting explosion drained Wataru of his remaining Life Points.

Gaku let out a resounding cheer as Izumi finished off her opponent, "YEAH IZUMI YOU REALLY SHOWED HIM THE POWER OF YOUTH!" Not that Izumi and him really fell into the same level of 'youth', but that didn't seem to be stopping him.

Samson looked at the platform in one of the moments of clarity he was blessed with and carefully made his way onto the platform without bumping into anyone, an easy feat considering most people moved out of his way, for one reason or another. Having established a location to wait, unfortunately near a seemingly somewhat excitable bunch, Samson ran his fingers over the letter he'd received. Manascript Academy. A place where he would be free to develop and understand his Alteration. Helpfully enough, the letter had been in braille and plain English. More and more conversations were breaking out as people got to know each other. For the time being, Samson simply stood staring ahead and waiting for whatever was supposed to pick them up to arrive. He knew nobody here and had no particular interest in getting to at the moment.

Col Ward

Pre-cautious? Was that even a word? And what exactly was cautious about jumping into a bush as soon as someone saw you and hoping they went away? No matter. He said he was the Hermit? "You mean The Hermit that plays in Milbourne? The one that even the Lord Bryce came to visit?" Of course just about anyone in Milbourne knew about the Hermit and Col practically grew up listening to bards like him. Col debated the merit of asking him to preform something for them, but... It seemed terribly rude. "My apologies sir, I meant no offense. Though what I said remains true, the woods can be dangerous on your own and, well Milbourne seems to be getting more dangerous lately. Perhaps you should consider traveling in the other direction with us instead." Say, bards usually traveled around quite a bit... Could he know something about those giant wolves? "Regardless, this may sound terribly odd but... Have you heard anything about wolves in the area?" Giant wolves would just sound odd, and if he'd heard about any wolves, it would be those ones. And at this point, anything that could help him find Rolfe would be gladly welcomed.

Dawkin Trustram

Argh... What should he do? The driver wanted them to help recapture the ancient Pokemon scattered, save for the Tyrunt that stared at them, and were picked off by Ground Pokemon that emerged from the ground with frightening synchronization. What was the right decision? Should they just run? Surely no one could fault them for leaving a dangerous situation they had no understanding of? But what if the driver was rescuing those Ancient Pokemon from someone who was trying to claim them back? Or vice versa? How could... How could he possibly know what to do in this sort of situation? Dawkin's hands hovered over his Pokeballs as his eyes darted back and forth across the hectic scene in front of them. Someone needed their help. But who was in the right? Dawkin set his gaze on the Tyrunt that was staring at them.

"Hey buddy, why don't you come with us? I'm not sure what's going on but you're better off with us." Dawkin said, somewhat hopefully, as he crouched down gestured with his hand for the Tyrunt to come with them. He wasn't trying to catch the Tyrunt, he just wanted to make sure it got away safely. After all, if he wanted to catch he would throw a Pokeball after making sure it couldn't resist. He didn't know what was going on here, but what he said was true: the Tyrunt was surely well off with them and he couldn't say for sure that this was the case for anyone else here. Regardless of if the Tyrunt ran away or followed, Dawkin would attempt to leave the area. Chasing down a lone Pokemon in the middle of this mess would be foolish. "We need to get going Amelia, I have no idea what's going on, but its nothing we want to mess with." After all, their goal was to get through this route safely. That was it.
