Hi there. If you're here, which you are, then you're probably looking for the same sort of thing I am. Whether or not I will be able to fulfill that desire for you seems to depend on four or five different factors, given the rather formulaic nature of our interest checks, so without wasting any more time, I'll list them for you.

Posting Length/Quality: I'm a confident writer, maybe a bit rusty, but Advanced section material. That being said, I also work a shit ton and don't want to feel guilty about taking two eons per post, so let's keep things between three and five paragraphs.

Posting Frequency: I'll post through PM's at least a couple times a week. Most of the time.

Adult Content: I like dark, gritty, realistic stories, and while smut isn't a make or break for me, I do enjoy a bit sprinkled into the climax of a story. You need to be legal to enter here. Preferably over 21.

Gender Preferences: There are two types of writers in this world. The first is the true creator, an empath who uses their insight into the human condition to weave believable characters from every gender, orientation, or age. The rest of us write what we'd like to read, and since there isn't enough good lesbian sci-fi and fantasy out there for my gay-ass self, I'm gonna stick to FxF.

Original versus Fandom Content: I prefer original content.

And, now that's out of the way, here are a few loose plots and setting concepts that I think would be fun to write:

In a world revolving around a dying sun, humans are relegated to a strip of land known as the Corridor that expands some fifty miles north and south of the equator. With each passing year, the ice extends farther inwards forcing the kingdoms of man to expand in the only possible directions: east and west. With its back to the eastern sea, the kingdom of Abeth is locked in a deadly fight for survival against their neighbor Marn, a struggle that is only complicated by the so-called Queen of Shadows, a leader uniting the ice tribes against both nations for the right to live in the green of the Corridor.

The year is 2094. Humanity is crammed into mega-cities reaching above and across the Earth. Government is a thing of the past, replaced with the rule of enormously influential corporations. Corruption is rampant. Crime and hedonism abound. And yet beneath the grime and flickering shine of neon lights, there stands an epic testament to humanity's escapism: an underground ring of racers competing for fame, cash, and the next adrenaline high.

The world ended, but it's been a while. Think tribal societies in a lush, earthy setting marred only by the jutting ruins of a bygone age.

How strong, really, is the line between cop and criminal? Picture a sexy game of cat and mouse drawing two opposites slowly together despite their opposing natures, a game that culminates when they're forced to work together. Oh and its steampunk.

You're brand new to the world of the demi-monde, but there's good news for you, my werewolf friend! Your fresh BPC (Bureau of Paranormal Citizenry) ID card comes with a mentor to guide you into your new life.

It is difficult to look bored in a waiting room of more or less injured people who have all just learned that they are monsters, but the secretary on duty the night you are turned is doing an excellent job. She hardly raises her head as each number on the LED sign above her ticks up to yours (twenty-four, as it had been counting without a restart for the entire month of August) and when it finally is your turn to present the crumpled slip with those two little numerals emblazoned upon it, she looks--if possible-- even less interested.

"Name?" she grumbles between thin lips beneath mouse-brown eyes beneath mouse-brown hair. You answer, but your faith in the correctness of her entry is likely tried by the fact that she began typing into the computer before you spoke. "Age?" She asks, followed by "Gender?", "Weight?" "Eye Color?", "Occupation?", and "Circumstances of Exposure?" You reply and she clicks away at the keyboard, though not always in that order. She actually looks up when your answer to the last question isn't rough sex, and maybe you take it as a hint of interest in your story, but really it's just because it has been so long since she heard of someone actually turning through an attack.

It's back to waiting a bit before you're called back to see an exhausted peon by the name of Mr. Frank who hands you a couple of pamphlets, tells you who to see to rent a room for the full moon, and gives you the name and phone number of a mentor who you're supposed to call if you have any questions, or need to talk, or start to experience werewolf-like symptoms. He wishes he could help you more, but its the end of his shift-- you understand, of course? Now smile! You want a good picture for your ID card as you won't get to take another for six years.

Welcome to the demi-monde, where the people are strange but bureaucracy is exactly the same.

Who doesn't love a woman in armor? This could go a number of ways. Fairytale-esque but gay: a woman in disguise competes in a tourney for the princess's hand, but things get complicated after her identity is revealed. Adventure-style: Two lady knights (or a lady knight and another class) explore the world in search of glory and coin. Political fantasy: a secret order of lady knights works to aid their kingdom in a coming war. (Could be knight/squire, master/apprentice sort of thing.)

Extremely flawed characters, unlikely pairings, witty dialogue, general badassery, Gaiman-esque humorous absurdity, storylines with multiple arcs, good writing, partners who talk through plot points and other ideas... I'm probably forgetting something that will get added later.
