What to know about the IRL me • I'm a female-bodied person who uses female pronouns (she/her), but identifies as bigender. I am not shy to discuss what that means if you're curious • I am currently in my twenties, and will be for a while • My first language is French, but I think I can say with confidence that I am 99% bilingual and possess a decent mastery of the English language • I am quite the introvert IRL, but quite social online. I'm always willing to meet new people, chat, etc. • I don't like to argue, quite the opposite, in fact. I despise confrontation. I will not get into drama with you for the sake of drama. On the other hand, I rarely get in 'drama' situations due to my calm or 'chill' nature. It's hard to make me angry.
What to know about my roleplaying experience • I consider myself a novice, I still have a lot to learn • I used to RP quite a lot in high-school, in French, on different sites/forums. It was nothing serious, I never learned the lingo nor most of the etiquette (except the basics, of course) • I have mostly, even only, played male characters. Because it is what I enjoy. I would be open, in the right occasion, to build a female character, but I am much more comfortable with male or agender ones. • I have always had the tendency to write a lot, but I also think I possess the quality to adapt quite well to my RP partners. I can usually write only two or three paragraphs if that's what my RP partner is comfortable with.
@Avali: I would never say no to delicious tea and cookies! And thank you ^^
@Chasebloodcrest: Nice! I'm from Quebec, in Canada. So yeah, I spoke French for most of my life. Glad to know I have fellow French-speakers around here. And thank you!
I'm new to the Guild, but I'd be really interested in joining this RP. I've read all the ASOIAF books and watched the Game of Thrones TV Show. I'm confident I can live up to the standards of the Advanced section. I just joined the Discord linked to the first post and I'm looking forward to creating a character!
Just hoping that it's okay if this is my first RP on this forum, I'd be alright with sending a writing sample to one of the GMs in private so that my style (and skills) can be approved.
Hi everyone! I just joined the Guild after lurking for a while and reading as many articles and guides I could find for new people. So here I am, introducing myself.
I used to role-play quite a bit in French (my first language) when I was in high-school and even a bit after that, but I still consider myself a novice. I took a long break and I've been recently looking for good and popular RPGs forums (in English) and I'm really glad I found this one. I would consider myself fully bilingual with more than decent grammar skills, but I apologize in advance if I make mistakes in my posts.
I have a super vast range of interests when it comes to role-playing. Fantasy is my favourite genre, but I love Sci-Fi, Modern 'mundane' settings and others. I enjoy developing friendships, romances, conflicts, fights, etc. in role-plays. I'm open to try a bit of everything and develop my writing skills, as well as making new friendships with open-minded people! I should add that I am a girl IRL, but I tend to have only male characters when I role-play, because that's what I enjoy.
I just want to say that I fell in love with this forum/website. It's super well organized, full of diversity and very easy to navigate. I'm really excited to start being part of the community and making my little place. I'm looking forward to RP with all of you!
Don't hesitate to PM me if you want to chat or learn more about me or just even invite me to a RP. See you around!
