What to know about the IRL me • I'm a female-bodied person who uses female pronouns (she/her), but identifies as bigender. I am not shy to discuss what that means if you're curious • I am currently in my twenties, and will be for a while • My first language is French, but I think I can say with confidence that I am 99% bilingual and possess a decent mastery of the English language • I am quite the introvert IRL, but quite social online. I'm always willing to meet new people, chat, etc. • I don't like to argue, quite the opposite, in fact. I despise confrontation. I will not get into drama with you for the sake of drama. On the other hand, I rarely get in 'drama' situations due to my calm or 'chill' nature. It's hard to make me angry.
What to know about my roleplaying experience • I consider myself a novice, I still have a lot to learn • I used to RP quite a lot in high-school, in French, on different sites/forums. It was nothing serious, I never learned the lingo nor most of the etiquette (except the basics, of course) • I have mostly, even only, played male characters. Because it is what I enjoy. I would be open, in the right occasion, to build a female character, but I am much more comfortable with male or agender ones. • I have always had the tendency to write a lot, but I also think I possess the quality to adapt quite well to my RP partners. I can usually write only two or three paragraphs if that's what my RP partner is comfortable with.

Hi! Being a long-time Harry Potter fan, I couldn't resist trying to make a character worthy of your RP. Hopefully it fits standards and I'm ready to change any detail that might not make sense or add more explanations to things that seem unclear. Also, if you need more Quidditch players, especially for the Ravenclaw team, I have an idea of how I could include that to my character, especially that I already mention him being quite good on a broom. So there you go, my CS with the writing sample requested:
Adrian Crawford
"If you're going through hell, keep going." Fourteen + Male + Bisexual
Full Name Adrian Zaran Crawford.
Age Fourteen years old.
Birthday November 29th, 1943.
Sex Male.
Ethnicity Caucasian.
Nationality English.
School Year Fourth Year.
Blood Status Pure-blood.
Hogwarts House Ravenclaw.
Pet Screech Owl.
Boggart An enormous swarm of insects surrounding him. They all turn into confettis.
Wand Ten inches, Pine wood, Unicorn hair. Unyielding.
Favourite lesson Potions: The complex art of potions suits his intellectual needs. He enjoys how precise the concoction of a potion is. He is always fascinated by studying the different ingredients and how large is the range of power between different ingredients. He cannot deny that Professor Slughorn is one of his favourite professors; a fascinating man who always has an interesting comment or story to add to his lessons. He admires him and hopes to become just as talented as him in the art of potions.
Least Favourite Lesson Flying: Adrian could not find a lesson more boring than the flying one. As nice and intelligent the professor is, flying around on a broom and learning the basics of directing your broom feels like a waste of the young man's time. He has always been an intellectual, the kind of guy you find reading a book everywhere. Knowledge is power, he knows it all too well. As of the flying class at Hogwarts, he is not learning anything that his father didn't make sure he knew about flying a broom.
Extracurricular Activities None, at the moment. The young Crawford is an introvert at heart, a loner. He prefers to wander the hallways alone, visit the library and borrow a few new books or even walk in the gorgeous parc behind Hogwarts.
Appearance As cliché as it may sound, he has the face of an angel. Very soft traits, a rather pale skin from all the time he spends inside or hiding in the shadows where no one can see him, piercing ocean blue eyes and rather light brown hair that could almost look blond in the right angle, under the sun. His only facial imperfection is a small scar cutting across his left brow and a few freckles. Although, one could argue that it adds to his charms.
Adrian is rather thin, but he is not skinny. He has thin and well-defined muscles from a lot of training he pushes himself through. He hides well maintained pectoral and abdominal muscles under his shirt. But you can never see him show off his body, you’ll never catch him wearing tight-fitting clothes. Without being complexed by his own body, he’s simply not comfortable with the idea of people looking at him.
Personality The Crawford is a loner and has always been one. He doesn’t like the company of people and he doesn’t hesitate to let people who come too close know. He feels awkward in their presence and he never knows what to say, which frustrates him. When he does communicate, he often comes across as either incredibly shy or arrogant. He knows his skills and by being a very good observer, he can often tell people’s weaknesses and he will often call people on them, not realizing how much hatred that can bring him. He’s quiet and calm, you’ll find often find him in the corner of a room or slightly distanced from the crowd. But as any normal being, he has his own type of anger. It doesn’t come out often, he doesn’t let it, but when it does, it’s violent and it is cruel. It brought him a lot of trouble as a child.
Adrian is also a very intelligent young man, a good strategist, even if he doesn’t share his strategies easily. He is always observing others, how they act, what they seem to feel. He enjoys the art of analyzing people. He's not always successful at reading everyone, but he would like to think that the long hours he spends quietly observing people brings him a certain talent at reading others. You have to push through a lot of barriers to get to the real Adrian, but when you do, you can find a kind and rather interesting kid behind all the silences and apparent hatred of others. A part of him always craves sharing his knowledge and interests with others, the sad thing is only that he doesn't know how to do so.
Backstory Not all Pure-blood families revel is the birth of their own child. Some families, or parents, see it more as a responsability than a gift. And they will treat their child as such; a responsability. That is how Adrian grew up, in a little town near London: under the scrutinity of his father's eyes. Always getting criticized for not developing his magic fast enough, for not showing prowesses out of the ordinary. As ordinary as a young wizard could be. No matter how loving his mother was and how much she tried to calm down her husband and his far too ambitious goals for his son, Adrian slowly turned into a troubled child. He would climb on trees and roofs of the neighbourhood to avoid his father, to avoid the imaginary homework he made up for him every single day. It was all innocent, at first, and mostly resulted in him building a shell around himself. He seemed mostly quiet, you could barely get a word out of him. Rebel sometimes, obedient other times. Definitely not what his father was expecting of him, but nothing worthy of a lot of worry. That is until they found him hitting the young boy living next door so violently that his teeth were popping out of his small mouth. It had came out of nowhere. A simple, silly story about who got to play with the magic broom this time. His parents had never seen the young Crawford so angry, especially for such a small thing.
In the years that followed the event, the young boy just kept hiding himself in hiw own mind, distancing himself more and more from his parents, never sharing his feelings with them. He learned to let his anger eat him inside, instead of pouring it unto innocent people, especially that such action would usually bring him unwanted attention. Nowadays, it is rather hard to make Adrian show you his anger, but if it does happen, there is a high chance that something as savage as the fight he had with that young boy could happen. He simply cannot control his outbursts once they're out of his system. That is why he mostly prefers the company of books than the company of people. Not only can he not communicate well with them, but he also doesn't understand most people, making him feel frustrated for being such a freak. But the young wizard also became more obedient, with the sole purpose of making his time with his father less painful, shorter. So he would accompany his father to his office or to wherever he wanted to have the lesson of the day, he would listen to him, practice what was asked of him and then he would go back to his room and spend the rest of the day reading books and hiding what he couldn't say out loud in journals he kept under his bed. He knew his father couldn't complain about him spending most of his time reading books quietly in his room; he was learning, and he was passionate about it, teaching himself about the magic world, and the history of his people. He was getting ready to head to Hogwarts.
And the day came where his letter was delivered by a gorgeous owl on windowsill of the kitchen. A moment of great happiness and pride for his parents, and a relief for himself. They spent hours planning and shopping for what he needed, preparing the young boy for his first entrance at one of the most respected magical institutions. Without a look behind, he left his parents near the King's Cross Station. He was more than ready for a new life, for something different. He was ready for a place that could finally let him develop his natural skills and intelligence. He could prove himself to be better than his father even thought he was. Yes, he was ready.
One of his first nights at Hogwarts. First year students were no longer guided by Prefects to head to the Great Hall; they were expected to remember the way by now. The few times Adrian had been guided, or forced, to head to the Great Hall in company of his fellow Ravenclaw comrades, had been excruciating. The feeling of hundreds of pairs of eyes staring at him, snickers exchanged between kids that must have been directed at him, and the overwhelming sensation caused by hundreds of different conversatons and ambient noises had been enough to make him feel sick. An introvert at heart, the Crawford had barely been able to eat and had only done so to avoid unwanted attention on his person.
Tonight was different. He was free to make his own way from the Ravenclaw Tower to the Great Hall. By the time he took to convince himself the place wasn't so close to his personal Hell as he was making it to be, dinner time was long gone. But being the quiet type came with its perks; he would often end up listening on conversations around him and no one paid much attention to him. He had heard students discussing expeditions to the kitchens and how the house-elves had been either generous or inattentive. In either case, Adrian could easily obtain food without having to mingle in the chaos of the Great Hall. Only one problem had occur in his plan: the young wizard did not have the trace of a clue as to where the kitchens where situated in the castle. Technically, they could have been anywhere. After all, it was with magic that food came from the kitchen directly to the long tables of each House in the Hall. Adrian had found himself with no other choice than to wander on different hallways of the school in hope to stumble upon his destination by pure luck.
That is until he caught conspicuous movement from the corner of his eye. He had been in a relatively empty hallway, barely decorated with any paintings and the onlt door he had found had been a closet. But out of nowhere, this incredibly grand and detailed double door was standing in front of him, asking to be opened. For a second, the Ravenclaw had been more scared than eager to open the doors, until he remembered bedtime stories from his father about certain room that would open to the desperate seekers. Could this be the Room of Requirement? Adrian had always thought it was a legend made-up by his father, a fairy tale to excite his curiostiy about Hogwarts. Said curiosity pushing him, the young boy turned the handle of the left door and peeked his head inside of what stood behind. His breath caught in his throat and a choked sound escaped his lips. "No way..." was the only thing he could think of while admiring the long table filled with various meals from one side to another. Maybe he didn't have to find the kitchens after all.

F U L L N A M E Aaron Emiliano Garcia
A G E Seventeen years old
G E N D E R Male
Be yourself; everyone else is already taken.
A P P E A R A N C E Aaron is a very handsome young man, and he knows it all too well. Half-brazilian, the boy only shows it through his name; he looks as any young american boy his age could look. He his of medium height for his age range, while his body is more well developped than most kids at his school. A considerable part of his free time is spent at the gym and the results show on his thin body. He might not be described as incredibly muscular or broad, but anyone can see that well defined muscles hide under his clothes. He keeps his brown hair relatively short and always takes care of maintaining a fashionable haircut with the help of some hair spray. He usually shaves, but will sometimes let a beard of a few days old grow.
D I S T I N G U I S H I N G T R A I T The young man has one scar crossing accross his left eyebrow, remant memory of a troubled childhood.
C L O T H I N G S T Y L E Coming from a wealthy family, the Garcia has access to quite the wardrobe for a seventeen-years-old. You can always see him wearing expensive brands of clothing and it isn't hard to notice that the young man tries to follow fashion. On the first week of the school year, you might catch a glimpse of colorful clothes filled with small and original designs, while a few weeks later you'll only see him wear black and white. He's always at the top of his game and he aims to attract all eyes on him.
Dirty little secrets
S E X U A L I T Y Something that might surprise you about Aaron is not only his sexuality, but how open he is about it. He believes that no doors should be closed and that if God or someone else put him on an Earth filled with male and female bodies; he can only appreciate the gift and enjoy it. He has slept with both girls and boys and manipulated more than one naive person into embracing their sexuality. He is incredibly comfortable with his body, but he is also impossibly vain and will assume that anyone should be attracted to his natural charms. You'll often find him flirting with just about anyone.
R E L A T I O N S H I P S T A T U S He is officially single, but far from being alone. Always flirting and charming a new prey, he enjoys having temporary girlfriends or even boyfriends on his arm. His relationships become public fairly quickly and anyone involved with him can expect their privacy to go out the window. He will even go as far as leaking himself the names and details of his 'conquests'. One could say he is pretty gross when it comes to respecting his partners, while most admire him for his prowess.
P E R S O N A L I T Y What most people are aware of about Aaron only scratches the surface of his personality. You can often see him as being flirtatious, having an incredibly rude attitude toward teachers, as well as pretty much anyone. He is described as being disrespectful, vain and arrogant. Pretty cold toward anyone he doesn't have an interest in, he appears to get bored rather quickly of people. But what most people don't know about the guy, is his love for books, movies and documentaries; his desire to always learn more. He his, at heart, an intellectual, even if he never shows it. The only people that might suspect it are his teachers; always impressed by his homework and essays. But his stubborn nature and his deep belief that this part of his is embarrassing, he will sometimes skip classes or even get a lower mark than he could have had on purpose, as to not reveal to the other students just how smart he is. A shame, really, because the young man as an incredibly potential. He also enjoys going to a lot of parties. He loves dancing, having fun, even the occasional drug. He surprisingly doesn't drink, or almost never.

Everyone has a story
H I S T O R Y Aaron grew up in New-York city with an American mother and a Brazilian father. The mix of cultures in his home gave him the opportunity to become bilingual at a very young age. Fluent in both English and Portuguese, he doesn't show it much and no one at the school knows he can speak anything else than English. His parents are incredibly wealthy; his mother is a highly reputed lawyer, while his father is a successful business man. This led the young Garcia to be raised more by nannies than his own parents. For most of his childhood and the beginning of his teens, he lived quite the trouble-making life. Even as a young kid, he would climb into trees and then onto people's roofs just for fun, making his nannies run after him or have them call the police... or worst: his own father. He would have done anything to get the attention of his father, even if it meant getting yelled at and sent to his room. So he would make trouble, as much trouble as he could. But as he grew up, Aaron realized that nothing could make his father look away from his business; it was the only thing that mattered to him.
High school changed everything for him. At home, he was more calm then ever, always hiding in his room. Most of the time he would watch movies, read books; things you couldn ever imagine Aaron Garcia to be doing. He also developed an interest for fashion and committed to it, knowing that his father would do anything to keep his son busy. meaning that he could get all the clothes he wanted and any car he wanted once he had his driving license. At school, he built a persona that, initially, was the opposite from him, but he eventually grew into it and today, the young man could probably not separate his made-up personality from his real one. It also did not take him long before realizing he was as attracted to girls as he was to boys. He used it to his advantage, flirting and charming as many people as he could into sleeping with him, propulsing him at the top of 'cool crowd'. His intelligence and knowledge doesn't go unnoticed by his teachers, but he hides it well from his fellow students. He went through most of high-school with some of the best grades, but always avoiding being the first of his class, as to know draw attention to his aptitudes too much. He could apply to any college of his choice, especially if he stopped purposefully getting lower grades than he can to maintain appearances.
R E A S O N F O R N E E D I N G T H I S A S S I G N M E N T His father went on a business trip with his wife and Aaron begged them to take him along. He promised to catch up on his school work later and his father accepted his request. So the young Garcia spent a month away from school and now has to live up to his promise to catch up on what he missed.
Welcome to my messy, but hopefully lovely, writing file. It will fill up as I make my own path in this highly enjoyable Guild. I will update as I go and if you have any questions, interests or even just want to say hi, don't hesitate to jump in my PMs!
