Recruiting for The Swallow.

Through the noise of the tavern an old man approaches you, you had been watching him for a good while if only due to the two large scars that replaced wings, and the scattering of feathers on his back that did little to hide the scars of years worth​ of violent beatings from a leather whip.

The old man had soft, knowing eyes that seemed to see right through you. " Hey there, you have the look of someone with nowhere else to go. Before you say anything let me speak. The captain of The blind Swallow is looking for trustworthy crew members who wish to fight the Injustice that is thrown upon many, be it a king abusing his power, or a violent slave-master. If you search for vengeance or a new life, you should go to the peir tomorrow night and see if you have the guts to fight for those who cannot. " With that the old man left,
not staying long enough to entertain a response, you don't know why but something makes you trust this man, something that fills your heart with hope for the future.

I am looking for people to help me develop a world of mine as well as participate in adventures. This is a RP that will be set mostly on a ship commanded by my character, an outlaw and escaped slave who has spent the last three years fighting for freedom. More details on the group page. Yes, anybody who seems trustful enough and who manages to cross her path. Ways to find or track her down are small enough, but she has agents in many cities that she keeps in contact with. They recruit for her cause and organize escapes. Some work as fences for theives or even contract handlers for assassins. She has been at this for a good 2 years without being captured. Use your imagination as to how your character learned of her. She does attract certain crowd, mostly people who are on the run, want a new life, or even simply want to help.

For those writing a CS, my world is still developing in a way. For example, the Royals race, I have yet to name their major city or their houses. Go ahead and try out anything you feel sounds best. I really love help when it comes to world development and if you have questions let me know. Who knows, your ideas may become permanent additions to the world

She frees those she can and drops them off in one of the few safe havens for slaves, mostly dwarven mountains or elven forests away from major cities. Those who seem capable are offered jobs aboard her ship.

The blind Swallow / small group fantasy RP.

Hello all, this is my first attempt at a group RP set in my own world. A large peice of the role-playing will be set on The blind Swallow, a ship owned by a mercanary leader turned bandit in the eyes of many major kingdoms around the world. Constantly on the run, she searches for those who cannot defend themselves, the weak or endslaved, then she frees them. If they are seaworthy she offers them jobs aboard her ship.

Be you assassin or slave, disgraced Noble or wronged pesant, the captain of The blind Swallow welcomes you aboard her ship.

Now, there are one or two races that are worth mentioning, these are the ones based off normal or premade fantasy races that I put a twist on to keep things interesting. If you wish to be involved by either simply playing one of these races as a character, or by helping​ fill in the blanks, let me know.

You are by no means forced to use these races, I actually would love to see some variety. Finished character sheets should be placed in the correct tab.

Demi-angels

Demi-angels​ are a race of winged humanoids similar to human or elven in appearance. They all have wings of varying sizes and colors but all are able to fly. Thier bones are hollow like a bird's to help reduce weight, and a natural magic allows them to further alter their weight by a handful of pounds to aid with everything from takeoff to landing or even sometimes combat.

All Demi-angels have an affinity to healing and wind based magic, but the skill can heavily differ between subjects. Wings on adults can vary from 15ft to 25ft or more. A safe bet would be to add 1.5ft for every 10 pounds or so, but if anybody with a better idea of how realistic wingspan​s on humanoids work, let me know.

Demi-angels have a dark history with the human races, many are still enslaved, their wings clipped or even removed completely and mounted like trophies in some cities. Demi-angels have a tendency for travel and many enjoy warm climates and migrate like birds in small groups when winter or slavers move in. Despite what their name suggests, Demi-angels are not decended from angels, but this is the name they are known as by the human races due to their natural beauty and wings.

Clothing can be difficult for them due to their wings, but many males make due without shirts and females often wear thin garmants of cotton or silk that hang from the neck and tie at the waist. A Traveller would be hard-pressed to find a Demi-angel that is not fit in some sense of the word. Near constant migration for those who are free, and hard labor for those endslaved often rob them of the ability to become fat and lazy.

Royals

A subspecies of human who branched off from the main group nearly three thousand years ago upon the intervention of a god. Royals have been named such due to their naturally stunning beauty and respectable ability to nearly completely prevent poverty in their closed communities.

Royals have a love for the arts as well as other fine goods. Many persue merchant or political careers and others choose to devote their lives to the study and application of magic to more artistic mediums. While royals come in many shapes and sizes, they decide themselves into multiple ' houses ' depending on hair color. When a child is born between houses, their hair color determines the parent who raises them, the parent with the most similar hair color able to claim the child.

A love for fine clothing and an unrivaled ability to keep unwanted emotions from interfering with the current situation makes Royals an interesting group.

Hello, looking for somebody to fit a certain role I am looking for in a little story I have. So that I Don't flood this I will try to keep the story desc short. The Heroine is known throughout the lands as the woman who slew the lich-king from beyond the grave, stealing her own life back. Stories spread and each tale grows more and more fanciful, but one thing is known for sure. The Heroine, a Human, used magic. In this world Humans are unable to produce or store magical energy, making it impossible for them to become true mages, instead forcing them to rely on staves and objects infused with magic.

Before I start with what I am looking for in a partner I will need to say a few things.

1: I hope to add romance and sexual themes to this rp so 18+ only

2: I have a minor plot in mind but I do want the relationship between YC and The Heroine to possibly be a large focus.

3: I will try to post at least once a day and around 2 paragraphs AT THE LEAST, I hope to receive the same in return but I understand if life gets in the way, simply let me know if you need to dissapear for a day or two or if you no longer want/are able to rp.

Now, What I hope to get from your character is somebody not only interested in The Heroine, but also interested in the truth or even her health. You see, after the events that gave her the new title that came with slaying the Lich-King The Heroine was never the same, resorting to alcaholism and spending a fair amount of time alone and unwilling to speak to people, something is clearly wrong with her.

Gender won't matter but I will say that The Heroine will be relying heavily on the support of YC ( Hence the title ) This will put her in a sort of semi-submissive state for a fair time once she begins to trust YC and slowly open up. This means that a character who is nosy but well intentioned, or protective with a dominating sort of personality would be best.

A mage first wishing to know the truth behind how she survived and killed the lich.

The Heroine's favorite bartender decides to take a more active part in her life.

The Prince/Princess of the kingdom who arranged to marry The Heroine is fed up with her sulking, and decides to help her through whatever is troubling her.
