Adam wiggles over slightly to let Winter sit more comfortably, and hugs Artimes tightly. He plants a kiss on her shoulder. "Do you want to tell me who that man outside is?" he asks carefully.

As she leads Adam away, he pauses briefly and turns to the unconscious body. Adam summons his staff and traces a symbol through the air. "Tas," he mutters, and earthen bands wind around the man's form, securing him in place.

Max nods and thanks her. She snorts at Winter's question. "They're probably hiding, sucking each other's faces somewhere." She makes a disgusted face and mimes gagging.

At the commotion, Adam had come running downstairs. He was tackle-hugged by Artimes, and braces slightly. "What-" he starts, then notices the unconscious man. "What happened? Are you alright?"

Personality: Xifeng is a solitary creature. She does not seek out social interaction except when she needs work. The only exception to this rule is for music performances, be they spontaneous in-the-street or high-end formal-wear operas.
She used to have a very different line of work, and as such, easily manipulates people.
She wears very loose, breathable, concealing clothing that can be removed easily to allow her to shift without tearing them.

Abilities: Shapeshifting. Her ability to shift replenishes twice an hour before renewing. Once she shifts the second time, she must stay in the chosen form until her ability renews or she ingests a certain type of rare combustion powder. If she tries to shift a third time, she has a 80% chance to malfunction, caught between states. She remains in this half-form until she ingests the powder, and she is much more vulnerable than she is in either "full" form. If she stays in the half-form and does not ingest the powder quickly, her body is unable to keep up with the strain, and she powers off, losing consciousness. After that, she has to be brought back manually, which is a lengthy, though not overly complex, procedure.
She is very agile and stealthy, preferring to ambush rather than fight head-on. However, she is unnaturally strong for her stature, and she has close-range weapons when in her non-humanoid form.
Her tattoos are mimicked in her shifted form as intricate designs.

Bag with a thick coat, a regular change of clothes, a spare pair of sandals, and her other belongings
Self-folding tin that is encoded to her specific tooth imprint (contains 5 platinum Bitts, a small pouch of the combustion powder, and two thin changes of clothes)
Several small pouches with coin, each with no more than 10 coins, to prevent all of her money being stolen
Various tools of the trade, including but not limited to: a small file, a set of lock picks, a small mirror mounted on a metal handle, a set of narrow-bladed scissors, a pair of pliers, a small knife, and a few smoke/flash bombs
