Winter thumbs the embellished writing. She takes out Arthur’s and a tear drops onto the sheet. She fists it, and it becomes encased in, and soon one with cheese. She makes a grilled cheese with it, and sets it on a plate for Toby when he wakes up.

At the commotion, Adam had come running downstairs. He was tackle-hugged by Artimes, and braces slightly. "What-" he starts, then notices the unconscious man. "What happened? Are you alright?"

Two knocks on the door frame alert Winter and Toby to Max's presence. "Hey, do either of you - hey Toby - know where the nearest hardware store is?"

She looks at him and nods into his chest. She just hugs him. She starts to cry as she dose. Her shoulders shaking as she cries. She then leads him back up to her Apartment and curls up on the couch with him. She plays with a lose strand on her dress. She cant think about going to to beach right now....She leans her head on his shoulder. "Ill talk to you about it soon." she said as a bruise started to form on her neck.

Winter turns to Max. “Oh hey, Max. It’s just down the street two blocks, then take a right. It’s on left just past the stoplight. And could you come back after? I need to talk to everyone.” She smiles when she sees Adam and Arty. “That’s two more..,” she shuffles through her papers. “And now I just need Devon and.. has anyone seen Jacob and Ivy?”

As she leads Adam away, he pauses briefly and turns to the unconscious body. Adam summons his staff and traces a symbol through the air. "Tas," he mutters, and earthen bands wind around the man's form, securing him in place.

Max nods and thanks her. She snorts at Winter's question. "They're probably hiding, sucking each other's faces somewhere." She makes a disgusted face and mimes gagging.
