Faction: Unknown. Role in Team?: - Bio: Found in a cryopod by the Marauders after a heated battle with pirates, Rendyl so far has revealed she is a human girl from earth, and that she has telepathic skills no normal human could have.
Not able to go home yet, the fate of her future is now in the hands of the crew of the Monroe, whether that future is to be her confidant or to be handed over to the committee.
Personality: Unable to speak, she is always quiet, but hardly idle. She always seems to be thinking about something with the expression of concentration on her face, and she seems quite taken in by the crew of the Monroe, with a particular fondness for the linguist officer, Tony. Weapon(s) : None Family/Relationship?: Unknown Other: Rendyl is mute, however she knows sign language fluently, and is learning to use her telepathic abilities.
"Brace for impact, another shuttle incoming." Tango warned, but it was too late. The collision rocked the ship again, sending the two men flying off the box, and into a crowd of Ulnar.
As the two sides fought, lost in the confusion the box the captain had been standing on slid into a wall and smashed open, splinters and chunks of wood flying in all directions. Inside, it wasn't provisions or materials as the manifest would report but a pale grey capsule, about two meters in length with an interface screen near one end. Across the top of the capsule was a viewing window, and down the center was a crease clearly meant to open. As if responding to being so violently thrown, the screen came to life with a flashing warning and its own beeping, telling no one in particular it was activating a self decompression sequence for the safety of its occupant.
A hiss of gas and a puff of cold oxygen was released as the window separated and pulled away from itself, and a very startled girl shot upright with a gasp. Blinking and covering her eyes from the glares of the ship's lighting and blaring alarm, Rendyl sat bewildered for several seconds, trying to take in her surroundings, not yet seeing the captain or Aamra...
Name: Esailia Lelander AKA: Kat with Eight Lives, Kat Age: 27 Race: Human
Faction: Bounty Hunter Role in Team?: Gunner
Never having any umbrella in life, Esailia wandered through her teens and early twenties without too much of a goal beyond staying alive and fed. This lifestyle ended up with her joining the military and training into weapons and hand-to-hand combat. However when the scientific division offered quite a sum of money in exchange for test subjects for a new gene therapy to improve reflexes and combat awareness, the lull of easy money ensnared Esailia. However this didn't turn out so well, resulting in a botched experiment and a blown budget on the scientists' end.
With this, Esailia was forcibly discharged by the military after her appearance caused too much of an uproar in her unit. And so she became freelance, her skills with guns and her new enhanced abilities from the feline DNA earning her a title in bounty halls as the Kat with Eight Lives. Though as it goes in Esailia's life, opportunities seem to attract her, regardless of the risk...so she decided to sign up for this new directive from the government to explore space, and the Marauders had a good ring to it.
Personality: Serious on the job, rather mischievous in nature. She tends to grab onto things that are amusing to her and run with them for long stretches of time. She likes to tease her targets when she gets the chance, and she's far from being a prude when it comes to intimate relations with anyone she finds relatively attractive, or likes her for who she is, and do not judge her by her appearance.
Weapon(s) : Modified M16, a desert eagle sidearm, A specialized crossbow with bolts labeled "K8L", a pair of combat knives, and twin custom short swords. And her trusty Bo staff. She does not carry all of these at once, that would be rather stupid of her. She selects load-outs for the situations she is preparing to go into when she can. Family/Relationship?: None she cares about anymore. Other: (up for debate) enhanced hearing and reflexes from her feline DNA. possible claws?
Hoping this doesn't sound too much like your average catgirl attempt. XD I didn't want to make an alien species for it because I didn't want to go full anthro, at the same time I enjoy the idea of her having a chip on her shoulder about her ears and tail.
As a bystander, this all seems like a tangle that needs to be unraveled by an unbiased third party. Both sides seem to be pointing the finger at someone else, and its confusing and inciting further chaos, while impeding any attempt to straighten things out by either side.
And the biggest issue in trying to get a third party is the fact that the moderators are usually that third party, but that very clearly won't work since its the mods themselves being pointed at.
I'm NOT taking sides. I am simply pointing this out, along with my suggestion of a third party, in an attempt to help resolve the issue.
I found this because Cynder wasn't responding in our 1v1. I didn't know why, nor am I going to make assumptions. As it was stated above, yes I am very scared I might get hit in the crossfire with a ban just for making this post, but as they say...no guts no glory? Enjoyed RPG through the years, I don't want it to start crashing around everyone's ears because of cloak-and-dagger.
