@LionheartedYes, humans are pretty advanced on ground and in space. The other races are a lot less advanced, the capital has electricity and the basics but the towns each race calls home is a lot less advanced and would rather use lanterns and more natural resources.
The shaman aspect would be whatever an elf character wants to make it. The Shaman wouldn’t necessarily have powers, but if you believe in the religion then you’re likely to believe in Shaman being able to possess powers. It’s more so about making elixirs and studying toxicology, things of that nature.
They do not trade, they keep contact nonexistent.
