Got the character sheet worked out, let me know if it needs any tweaking.

Basics
Name: (Full name followed by the name given to them by the media, ie. John Doe aka The Serial Killer)
Nickname(s): (What friends call them/preferred names)
Age: (can be anything between 18 and 60)
Gender: (Male, female, trans*, whatever you decide)
Appearance: (Physical description and your character's typical style of dress)
Bio: (Can be revealed IC. Can be as long or as short as you like)

Personality
Personality: (How does your character treat and feel about others and what are they secretly like deep down inside?)
Interests: (Does your character like video games? Movies? Computers?)
Skills: (Does your character play an instrument? Do magic tricks? Juggle?)

Victims: (What does your character look for in a victim? Hair colour? Tattoos? Certain genders or ethnicities?)
Methods: (Optional. Your character's M.O. ie. Stabbing, shooting, strangling)
Calling Card: (Optional. What does your character always leave at the scene to allude to his/her identity?)

Great! Any help would be fantastic and I'm looking forward to the RP, if we could get a few more people interested I'd write up an OOC post and character sheet.

I'm relatively new here and I've been looking for an RP that I want to take part in and I had a slightly odd idea that is sort of based off a short story I wrote recently (don't worry, there is no underlying plot that I will demand we adhere to). Basically the players are a group of serial killers who believe that they are "addicted to murder" and don't want to be serial killers anymore so they found each other through the internet and decided to form an AA-type support group.

The characters will be living in a city/suburb somewhere and will be living in a group home that they all helped buy, possibly having weekly AA type meetings in the basement where they can speak openly without worrying about pesky, eavesdropping neighbours (who will believe that it is a group home for former drug addicts unless they see or hear something odd going on). If this RP did happen I would like it to be a mix of drama, silliness and the occasional relapse (if you know what I mean).

I would like to warn everyone that I have virtually no experience being a GM so tips would be greatly appreciated.

Hey there everybody, my name is EternalWritersblock, but you can call me just about anything you want. I am a twenty-something year old man (or boy, depends who you ask) and I am a writer (so far unsuccessful, nothing published yet) and housekeeper for the time being. I'm relatively new to RPing, I used to do a little bit with my ex and some friends of mine via IM but I don't have much experience in forum roleplaying. My friends used to complain that my replies were rather long winded, though that was in IM, I think on a forum I would fit right in.

My general interests when it comes to RPs are realistic modern or historical drama/action RPs, science fiction and the occasional fantasy story, sort of like my taste in films and books. I hope that mild swearing isn't a problem because most of the stories I like tend to be a little gritty and dark and my characters often fit into that kind of world very well. If it's not okay then I would happily cut that out of my characters and play a regular person, I'm good either way.
