Name: Euclid
Age: 24
History: Euclid is a newcomer to the Roleplayer Guild, having been a member for only a few months before the fall and eventual resurrection of the Guild. An eager mind, he had what he considered to be innovative ideas that he hoped to draw people in with, but they ultimately fell short of coming to fruition and he had only himself to blame. When he finally had an idea that ventured into much less chartered territory, one he thought would succeed, it was already too late. By the time he had the idea ready to post, the Guild was gone, and so he was left without an outlet. Eventually, it vanished.
It wasn't long before he was ready to forget about the Guild forever, but a flight of curiosity led him to see if the site was back up, so he typed in the URL and pressed the enter key. 'Lo and behold, the site was back, and he was both ruined and pleased. The site looked different from its predecessor, but it still retained some sort of nostalgic air to it, and it made him happy. Over the next few days, he sat back and lurked through the threads, reading about the new changes and the reason the Guild fell in the first place. Soon enough, the administrator was making good on his promises, and the PM system popped up for testing. When it succeeded, it became a permanent fixture on the site in the form of a small black envelope.
Euclid noticed that there was already a message for him to read. Normally, he theorized that it was a general, to-everyone-in-the-forum message the administrator might send out to show that the PM system was working. Visiting the PM screen, he saw that the subject of the message was left almost blank, replaced by some archaic symbol that he had no knowledge of. The sender of the message couldn't be found. Thinking it was some type of virus, he attempted to leave the page, but found himself failing to do so, no matter how hard he tried. When he came to the conclusion that there was nothing else to do, he resolved himself to clicking the link.
And then things went dark.
Personality: Euclid, when he's not writing, is a quiet individual. Keeping to himself, he finds solace in the music he's listening to, as conversations can literally exhaust him. His introversion is personified in his hesitation to work with others outside of the forum, preferring to rely only on his own wits (or lack thereof) to get things done.
On the forum, he is coincidentally the opposite, but to a certain degree of extroversion. He likes to conversate with people, though his eccentric way of communicating can sometimes be ill-received and downright annoying. However, he's learned to tone back his outgoing internet personality, resorting to short responses and a semblance of normalcy that is accepted by Guild members. Though he is largely unrecognized in the Guild's population, his online personality is something people can find themselves getting along with, if given the time.
Roleplaying Preferences: Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Realism, Psychological, Adventure, Paranormal, Post-Apocalyptic, Superhuman, Dystopia
Other: As of late, Euclid has expressed a rising interest in bagels and their spreadable counterpart, cream cheese. Beyond that, there's nothing else that is interesting.
NOTE: I hope you don't mind that I separated the history and personality. I didn't want the two getting muddled. Also, I hope this is enough. If not, just let me know.
