Leval Lamrue

@The One@Maria 127

Leval kneeled down and scratched gently behind Zephroth's ears. He was certain that the powerful beast had attached itself to him so strongly due to Argentina's kidnapping. "He must be so lonely right now, and even more angry that we haven't found her yet." Zephroth growled over at Pozuzy in an emotion much like disdain. Leval glanced between them with an eyebrow raised. "Pozuzy this is Zephroth. Zephroth, this is Pozuzy. He is going to be on our team today as we look for Argentina, Shela, Ceres, and Irvine. His powers are very similar to mine so I expect that he will be a huge help in our search. As such I am hoping that you two will work together with me today alright?" He gave each a stern look and then pulled out on of the maps that he had been searching through the previous evening. It was heavily marked with small, handwritten notes, lines depicting probable flight paths, and location circled and numbered along it. "Now then to answer your question Pozuzy, I think we should be heading first to the Dungeon. Its an excellent location to stay if you are hiding something or someone. No foot traffic, no observers keeping an eye on the place, and any cells he might be keeping them in come prebuilt. That is my best guess, however it is only and educated guess at best. If we don't find them there we still have several other more likely places for us to look." He laid out his plans on the nearby table and went over the path he was planning to teleport them along in order to arrive as quickly as they possible could as well whatever details he had managed to pull up about the location from his study the night before. "The logic seem sound to you, Pozuzy?

Before he could listen in to Zephroth's answer, however a voice coming from down by his legs spoke up at him with a "Hey, You!" He looked down a saw a flaming lizard, that he vaguely remembered from the day before speaking rude things to Shela, but they had been traveling together it seemed. "Incredible. Was it really only yesterday that everything started happening? It already seems like ages ago. What am I going to tell him?" After a brief internal debate, he realized that the only option he could do was be honest and tell the truth. He summarized yesterday's events quickly, going into more detail about what had happened to Shela and the Masked Man. "So now, we are splitting off into different teams to try and find them and bring them back. We are going to the Dungeon. You are welcome to join us and help us search. And... I am sorry that I couldn't prevent her from being taken..." He turned away from the salamander and the reminder of his own guilt that Rika had granted him a brief relief from. While he had been talking to the Salamander, it seemed Arken had been speaking to Zephroth, he glanced curiously at him and focused on the task at hand.

He grabbed a hold of everyone that would be going to the dungeon with them and began a series of teleporting hops forward to the location of the dungeon that he had found in his research the night before. There were several other locations where Shela might be, but others seemed to be heading in most of the right directions so he let some of worry go, reducing the tension in his shoulder blades the smallest bit. They made excellent time to the dungeon, the teleporting reducing their travel time to a fraction of what the original travel would have been even by flying. The Dungeon entrance was imposing to say the least. An ornate stone doorway lay across a stone pathway with lava running out of the walls and under the path. Vents covered open areas in the floor where you could see the molten lava run underneath, the intense heat of it already causing sweat to bead on Leval's forehead. He turned to the others. "This is going to be dangerous. Is everyone ready?"

Alex watched with interest as Harald grabbed a fish with the speed of instinct and ate it quickly, seeming to enjoy the quick morsel of the meal. Harald apologized but Alex waved his hand absently. "Doesn't matter to me. It's way faster than fishing them out, I can tell you. He glanced over at the shore as Harald pointed over to Rush still warming himself in the warm sun of the clothes he had carefully folded on the shore. "Yup. That's Rush, he is a greek tortoise. He hangs out with me most of the time, though he is not much for conversation. He has been with me for about a year now." Alex looked over at the other group that had entered the water and motioned over to them with his head. "Why don't we go introduce ourselves to Sulleykaar's friends over there. It would probably be best to get to know some more people that have actually been to this school, see if we can get the lay of the land from them."

Over by Sulley there was a rumbling as a pillar of earth extruded out from the bottom of the lake floor. He was using some type of magic that made Alex's eyes go wide as it seemed that he had made himself some type of functioning hot spring. Alex swam over to it and climbed atop the the earth mound that made up the outer circle of the dragonmade hotspring. His plain boxer briefs clung to his wet, runner's body as he looked down into the water and then back up at Sulleykaar. "Room for one more?" After that he turned to look over at the other people in lake calling out to them. "What's up people? I'm Alexandros- just entered the academy today. Is everyday as fun as this one has been?

@Fetzen Don't you worry my post will be up in the next 20 minutes or so
@Tsar Gatto@Eviledd1984@paragloan

Erik half listened to Michael talk about the eyeless men he saw, not particularly caring what it was that went on his mind. He paid slightly more attention to Maddy as she talked about being diagnosed with OCD. 'That explains why she was cleaning my room a while back... I wonder if I can get her to do it again?' However, he was mostly interested in watching Teres's face as her face changed in response to Michael and Eric's comments, attempting to get a read on how she felt about his fellow housemates. He looked down at his plate and grabbed a few more bites of food before lunch ended. After a moment Teres spoke up again, Eric listened and let out a light chuckle. "That's true I suppose, most of us do what we can to keep the peace and make it bearable. The classes drone on and on, but at least there are a few breaks in between to allow us our sanity. It's going to be quite a change unfortunately in these first few days, especially if you used the internet a lot outside. My advice: find a hobby. I do writing- though I can't say for sure what the others do." Erik paused for a moment and looked over at the nurses surveying them at a distance. He leaned in a little closer to Teres and softly whispered, "There is not a whole lot to do in the evenings around here, but at the very least I know a way to get outside these rooms, if somewhat briefly, after most of the staff leave around 10 PM. Care to join?"

A nurse came around to the table and begin to usher them away back to their classes. Erik complied easily and went back to the dull lectures on subjects he already knew more about than their teacher. It was sometimes hard for Erik to truly comprehend how much less some of the people around him truly were. Still, he was forced to attend the classes, so on a blank piece of notebook paper he began to write out a list of things he might need for this evening if Teres joined him and when that was complete, his schedule for his first day out. It was a schedule he had written out many times before, but it helped him immensely to work on and continue to refine to fill in the dull hours. Boredom was the biggest threat at Ebott House, and it would be easy to succumb to it if his mind was not being properly utilized. Once class was over, he waved his hand to his housemates and said "I am going upstairs to the gym."

Erik walked upstairs to his room and changed quickly into a workout outfit, long sleeved athletic shirts, workout shorts, and high quality sneakers perfect for running. He went across the hall and entered the small gym complete with weights, mats, and exercise machines. Erik wrote out his exercise schedule on a dry erase board in the room and began to run on the treadmill to warm up.
@The One All of these locations are on the island next to campus right?
Trygve

Location: Outskirts of Mjors
@AlidaMaria@Jin Of Mana

Trygve rode at a pace with traveler's carts, careful to be gentle with the horse beneath him. They were moving at a fairly quick pace at the moment and Trygve knew the horse would not be able to support his weight much longer without a fairly long rest and a meal. For the most part, Trygve usually walked besides the animal when the carts were moving slowly, sparing the beast for moments like these. He rubbed the animals neck gently trying to soothe the creature as it breathed heavily but carried along at their steady trot. Trygve glanced around at the trees that surrounded them, sniffing slightly at the air. Mjors simply did not smell right, he missed the salty scent of the South Sea along the shores of Hakaskar, the warm sun heating the sand beneath. Here the air was cold with the knowledge that he could not bring himself to go back for quite some time, and the earth was muddy beneath them. He winced as his head gave a dull throb of pain, for even now months after he had entered the Beserker's Rage he could feel its effects working on him. He shook his head, ignoring the pain and glanced around at his fellow travelers.

He had joined up with Thorbrand's group about six months ago in Mjors. Trygve's father had taught Thorbrand the basic techniques of the warhammer when Thorbrand had first arrived in Hakaskar, so Trygve had known him at least casually. When he had heard Thorbrand was preparing to leave Mjors and return to Ballara, he had decided to join with him to see the lands of his mother. He needed a rest from the bays of Hakaskar and the uncomfortable looks of his comrades in arms. While none of them had been killed during his rage, several had been seriously injured. He felt grateful to Thorbrand for allowing him to come with them and work for him for these past six months. Ingrid, a long companion, of Thorbrand's had begun to warm up to him after the first few encounters that required the use of his hammer and seemed to at least respect his prowess if not fully befriend him. Trygve could not blame her for that, he knew he was intimidating to most. He respected her ability in kind, though he knew little about her never having had the opportunity to truly converse with her beyond anything but the events around them.

As he rode next to one of the merchant's wagons, he noticed one of the merchants younger sons. The boy, somewhere between the age of 10 and 12, sat inside the wagon shivering slightly in the cool air of the forest surrounding them. Trygve absently reached into one of the pouches along his horses side and pulled out one of his extra blankets tossing it inside one of the wagons with a small grunt to attract the boys attention. The boy looked up, a somewhat nervous expression on his face as he looked at Trygve before glancing down at the blanket. "Put that on before you fall ill." Trygve spoke calmly and gently, but with a noticeable tone of command in his voice that had the boy covering himself before he was even aware that he was doing it. Trygve grunted in satisfaction and turned his gaze back to the road around them.

Something seemed off about the forest, Trygve frowned and glanced around suspiciously. He was not sure that he would be able to trust his instincts here in an unfamiliar landscape. Was it possible that the had disturbed some sort of spirit that resided in the forest? Ingrid seemed to have noticed something as well as she dropped her position next to his own. “Tryg, I don’t know what it is, but there’s something dangerous close by, watching us. I’ll inform Thor, be prepared for anything. She was obviously upset by the sense of impending danger. He gave her a firm nod and reach behind him and released the small leather clasps that strapped his warhammer to his back. He pulled the weapon out by its head and then let the weapon fall forward at the ground till he had a firm grip on the handle.

His weapon was the only item that he had that could truly be said to be sized for him. His armor was too small, barely held together by several leather straps that made it uncomfortable to move around normally. As much would like to grab his shield and get off his horse to be better prepared to face whatever foe now stalked them, he needed to remain on his horse, ready to move quickly if Thorbrand ordered it. He glanced over at the boy wearing his blanket and motioned for him to keep low in the wagon. He then turned and motioned for the mercenaries to also ready themselves. While Trygve did not speak as often as others seemed to, his meaning was still clear to understand. He felt the pain grow slightly as his body readied itself for the possibility of combat. Trygve set his face in a stone like expression of determination and kept lookout for whatever danger he and Ingrid had sensed nearby.
@AlidaMaria Haha no I think you are good! But I appreciate you asking! I will start making my post now :).

Edit- Oh I thought it was a nickname lol! No worries either or is fine
@The One

Alia rose up from the ground glancing over the guards that had been knocked on to their backs. She was glad to see hat had been for the most part uninjured as Drayko quickly summarized the situation. She recognized the guard who had spoken up as Henryk, stubborn as always and apparently brave enough to stand up to even a dragon. "Listen everyone! What the dragon says is true I have seen it with my own eyes." She pointed over at her friend within the guards, Camilla. "Please go summon Mayor Felle- she needs to hear this." Camilla nodded at her and broke rank with the other guards towards the center of the village.

She turned to Drayko and whispered, "What exactly is the plan here? Even if we convince the village that you are on their side, there is little they can do to help you against a dragon."
@AlidaMaria Personally I would prefer early autumn that way we still have time for a last minute raid if people would like to do that and we have time to focus on environmental challenges (creatures, fortification, gathering supplies for the winter) to help build character interactions and relations ships. And Winter comes a little faster which can be a lot of fun survival wise. I tend to be pretty mean to my own characters haha, but if anyone else has different desires I'd love to hear them! I am pretty flexible about this

Alex laughed up at the sky as Harald spoke. "Oh man that is hilarious! Change the scientist for tourists and police and you basically have my childhood as well! However, I did not come away with it from any awesome looking headgear though. Got some pretty weird looking feet though-sometimes they glow, but usually only when I am running pretty fast." He stopped and thought for a moment. "You know, I think at one point the police did bring a scientist, but he was pretty slow and it was easy to get around him." He shrugged nonchalantly, not thinking too much in particular about the incident. "Well we might have had some interesting lives when we were younger, but now we are here in a place that not only accepts us for the things we are, but downright encourages it. If you would have told me a year ago that I was going to be swimming in a lake with a 'Splice' after a dragon had just finished blowing hot smoke across my face after losing a race to a flaming female leopardess who was a actually a beautiful woman, I would have said..." Alex again paused for a moment trying to think of what he actually would have said in that exact moment. "Probably I would have said something like, 'Who are you?' or 'why are you telling me that?' in all honesty.'

He turned to look over at the splice. "Was there something else in particular that you wanted to know about? Feel free to ask I am not doing anything till the dragon and his friends come join us." He glanced over at Rush on top of his clothing, simply reassuring himself that Rush was fine, not that he was particularly worried.
